Thanks for sharing! It's a gem for sure as it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Because it's not easy to find a quiet neighborhood with no or little dog barking, no rooster screaming and no karaoke in and around any of the cities in Thailand. So I would easily pay a bit extra money just for that. And as clean and tidy as it looks and walking distance to the city center, I think it is well worth the money. But it don't hurt at all to haggle on the rent either.
It's in a great area, maybe a few dogs about early morning. Sure, always room for negotiation on the prices 👍

Yes agree! This place is a little different from most of the others, it's got that Homely vibe.

It's a shame the big rooms don't have a kitchen. It's a really nice place. Prices could be negotiated.
I checked this one out, and realized it is just outside of Old City's moat, so that would make a good landing hotel to go out looking inside Old City for a budget apartment. If I can ever sell everything, and leave everything.

This is a great area, quiet and chilled, not to far of a walk to town either.

Bit late off the mark here Wayne, been busy. Honest opinion is; quite respectable apartments. We all would like the prices to remain the same as 7 years ago, but unfortunately not so any more.. Some tourists spend half that rental in one day on alcohol and massages, and wonder why they wake up broke and in need of a "good friend"! Comes down to sensible budgeting. Reckon this accommodation is a good longer term option.
Exactly mate, some people think everything is a 1000 baht a month 🤣. This is a nice place and could be haggled on the price I reckon. Cheers mate.
I love the green windows, and the quiet street. You pay more, but I think you get more. That is a respectable looking place, and some lady would not cringe when she saw where you live, allowing for a more inviting hospitality. So if you prefer the ladies, these could be the digs they might dig. That's upscale wheelhouse for me. 👍

It's a great place mate, in a perfect location. Just enough distance to be in a quiet Soi, but walkable to most places down town.
Seen it twice, leaving 2nd comment. It's those green tinted windows that really attract me. Those are unusually smart. Those give you the color of nature all day long. I love it all, accept without a small kitchen, it's just a hotel.

Looks like they want to keep it a hotel, whereas hotel occupants may put less traffic on materials over time, and they may pay more over the same time as well. If I ever make the jump; I will buy a month on a room @ Lapn Kham House to have some time to find a place. @@WalkAboutWayne
Clean, quiet sign me up. Location is definitely a plus also. If it had a small kitchen it would be perfect.
Yes, if that bigger room had a kitchen, it would be a lot better. It's a really nice place though.

An interesting choice to possibly stay at. Maybe a good backup if the beloved Arsh Boutique is rammed full with no vacancies.

Nice place you should start your own Walk-About Wayne Letting Agency you could rent some of these proprertys long term and let them out short term to subscibers comming on holiday might make a few bob.

I would be looking for a room where the sun isn't coming into the room ie cool side of the building. Thanks for sharing. Heads up perhaps they could get a mattress topper that was softer like the gel toppers that keep you cool - marketing speak. The Plastic sheet on top of the mattress would cause more sweating?
The sunny side would be nice the next few months at least as the temperatures get a little chilly. March~June though = Yikes. That air con (and your bank balance) would be getting a real workout.
I had a plastic cover on the mattress where I stay, I didn't make me sweat, but it kept making that horrible noise when moving. I asked if I could take it off and she agreed. I'm not sure about this place though. It's a really nice place, a room towards the back, in the shade would be best.

Something else, again ...I am watching a history of England's Plantagenetes. Henry 11 and the next few hundreds years. Fascinating. Historical issues 8 hundred year affect us today. Magna Carts for one example. And i like watching the knights at battle. I think that Wayne would have been a great knight with several maidens at his feet. Right?

If it includes daily cleaning, the monthly rate is super nice! The daily rate is a bit steep tho. I've stayed at Asa hotel which is very close by for the same price, room was smaller but a lot newer with a pool.

Way to expensive. Plus the nightly renters tend to be loud and not treat the place like its home, which for them of course it isn't.

I've done loads of vlogs of this area buddy. Washing available for 20 Baht I think 👍
Some good size well kept rooms, but no cooking facilities and hard mattresses would make that a pass for me. If it was 7500 for big rooms including electric and water, I'd reconsider.
Yes, the big room would be great with a kitchen. They should consider doing that .
Wayne .. Very nice rooms. Affordable for me. But near Loi Kroh? Uh Oh. Anyway, dont think $3-400/mo. Is too expensive. Some guys spend that in a couple of days. Not me, of course. (Dont want ro borrow from mamasan again).
It's about a 15 minute walk to Loi Kroh. Just enough to get away from the noise. Great place for you mate 👌
Prices may be on the higher side, but there's a lot of great value. It is clean, friendly hosts and dog, and good location. Very close to B Samcook Home16, one of CM's best restaurants.
It's funny more places haven't caught on to this....the friendly dog is almost the selling feature for me haha

No need for a kitchen. Actually my wife would rather not have a kitchen at all. Eating out 3 times a day is one of the reasons she would like to retire in Thailand…..no cooking and no cleaning up.
