Lovely neighborhood for a stroll. Tree lined - streets, beautiful golf course. There are cafes and restaurants within very short / short walking distance (0 mins, 2 mins, 5 mins)... but for most stuff (more choices, grocery store, 7-11, bars, etc) -- you really want to have a scooter living here. If you do: EVERYTHING you could want is super close.
@@chev6901 Great question! I hadn't even thought of that. I do not know. There is a very nice grocery store (Rimping) fairly close (like 7-10 min scooter ride).
We had a little studio in Chon Buri and set up a small kitchen/laundry on the balcony, tapping water off the sink. It worked great. That is a pretty nice unit for the price. The AC will be running from March through October but electricity is so cheap.
Yes, this one is much, much smaller than the one I lived in but still a wow deal in my opinion. Especially for the security and safety of the building if you have a nice scooter. Lovely owners. Very attentive and nice. Super close to Old City. Awesome for a budget traveler! And very, very clean.
I think it would both soothe and uplift me in that apartment. I have a much nicer apartment in the building but I could get good work done in this one I think.
I just watched your 2 other videos on the 2 bigger units in this building. They all look wonderful and amazingly affordable. May I know the name of the apartment, and are there any units bigger than this $150 one but smaller (or cheaper) than the $375~ bigger unit featured in your other video? Thank you for this informative video.
The name is Dee Dee Court in Chiang Mai -- about a 10 minute scooter ride from the Old City. Here is the facebook page: facebook.com/DeeDeeCourtCM and if you google it... I think you will also find other links to the building! Yes, I think there are units in between BUT mostly you have those nice big ones on the top floor and ALL the other ones will (mostly) be the size of the smaller one with maybe a couple of exceptions.
@@OneWayTicketwithScottAnthonyTheir Facebook says rents are 5k, 10k and 12k bht. Do I have to sign a yearly contract to get this rent, or are they the same regardless ? I'm thinking relocating to Thailand in the near future but my passive incone will be a very modest one. So my rent budget is up to USD 290 a month. I thought an unit like the one you have ( featured in your other video) appears to be a great choice for me. But 10k bht is a bit out of my budget. The rooms and neighborhood do look ideal for a low key lifestyle.
@@chev6901 I'm almost certain they still do monthly contracts!!! Also, you could look at some other options in this neighborhood walking around but I doubt you'll find something better than this overall deal -- but it is possible!
@@ianlewis2813 yeah! Clean and safe with nice landlord and secure parking for scooters w cameras in lovely peaceful neighborhood 10 mins from old city - really not bad 😎😎
Dee Dee Court. It is searchable on Google maps. :-) It is about a 10 minute scooter ride from the Old City Walls. It is next to a large golf course across the Ping River from the Old City.
You could def get your laundry done. It's faster and cheaper if you have laundry downstairs or in. your apartment though. It also saves on plastic because oftentimes laundry places wrap all the clothes in plastic. The convenience of. having laundry machines downstairs or in-unit is pretty great!
Nice video
interesting content
Thank you so much Arvid!
hey Scott, glad you're still uploading and rooting for you
Thanks so much buddy!!!
Looks nice - but are there any places to eat within strolling distance?

@OneWayTicketwithScottAnthony Do grocery store and 7-11 deliver to your apartment?
