Hello, Can You advice? i've broke Icar pro wifi and wondering about buy new one ELM. I've got Lexia, MVCI, ELS27(China), DS150e, but they are not compact and USB only. Thinking about to buy Thinkdiag or similar multitool, but i dont want subscription. vLinker MS, Icar 2S or other one i should to choose? i use OBD twice a year probably.. Regards!!
Either icar pro 2s (cheaper) elm or if you want something like thinkdiag without subscription then xtool a30
@iamcarhacker Xtool A30 cost 400$ probably :). I've found vLinker MS for 50$ with coupons and coins on Ali, so probably i will buy this one. When i compare with DS150E than decide what to stay with me :). Icar pro 2 can adapt settings Like belt signal or rain sensor ? I understand vlink MS can do this with no problem.

Hi, I have a 2021 corolla and I have a elm327 mini but with app car scanner pro I can't use code option
I have filled the additive tank on my Volvo V70 1.6 Diesel Eco Drive (2009) and reset the level to show it as full. However, when I clear the fault code and start the car, I still get a code indicating the additive level is low, even though the program shows the tank as full.
It says vehicle not responding! Please help.

I already have an obd link but I can't find a way to register a new battery. The carista app has the feature but claims you need their own adapter to allow battery coding. Does anyone know of a way/app that can let an obd link do it?
Ohh I didnt know that about Carista...unfortunately without Carista I dont think there is another way without getting new adapter

hey for study purposes i want to program my own mobile app to read the mileage with an odb2 dongle. before that i want to check with a laptop and the tool "wireshark" if i can scan the bluetooth packages and find the mileage information. do you think this is possible? and if yes, is there a big difference between car manufacturs?
Hello I dont know much about this but to check mileage you would need to get to live data in multiple control modules which is something only better bidirectional scanners can do...there are definitely differences between car makes I dont think there is easy way to do this without software like these scanners like delphi, launch, etc... have

Can you do acc calibration on vw with carista? I have the xtool a30m that cant do that. 😢 Dont want pay for obdeleven for only that usage
Hi not sure but you can check on Carista website for your model. Select your car model and it will show you all service & coding available

Most cars made after 1996 have OBD-II connector which is same for all car brands. But for advanced functionality it depends lot on a car what can it support, not only on OBD-II scanner
Can you keep track of camshafts and crank shaft sensor voltages? (Pedal and throttle too) or can you do relearns from it?
You can check pedal and throttle voltage but camshaft or crankshaft not sure and defnitiely cannot do any relearns.

Hello, I'm using the Car Scanner Pro combined with the Veepeak BLE scanner. If I was changing the scanner to a Vgate Vlinker tool would I see more sensors? I'm having a 2014 Volvo. Thx for any answers!

That Veepeak dongle works with hybrids and can access the modules for battery monitoring etc.
