Thank you chef for the recipe! No fancy ingredient(s) needed yet this one yields a very satisfying plate(s) of pineapple fried rice I've tried to date. The family loves it
I love that you always create everything from scratch. Lived in Singapore for many years and i miss the food terribly. Your recipes are as genuine as i remember the food to be (even the pineapple boat!). Will attempt to do some of your recipes with the help of the missus. Thanks!
Dinner was the same old thing till I started watching these videos by you and many other Asian chefs. Thank you so much for all that you do!! Dinner is amazing and fun now!!!!
Cutting the pineapple was such a tough and dangerous job. I wouldnt even give it a try. Even tougher than the whole cooking process. The recipe looks great n simple. Thxs for sharing.
this is literally the first dish i ever cooked back in my sec 1 food and nutrition class, which ultimately kickstarted my passion for cooking. any secondary school kid who follows this recipe closely and present it in the 'BANANA' bowl to the teacher is definitely gonna get an A
Thank you for the detailed info regarding cutting of the pineapple. I prefer my pineapple for this dish to the sour side. I tried it once at a Thai restaurant and it was too sweet and I doubt it was canned because it didn't have the taste of canned pineapple. For other dishes such as rojak sweet pineapple is fine.
Mr Roland, you have done another good meal, just that cutting the pineapple is a bit of work but other than that is not difficult to cook. Hope you can make some Thai dessert to go with. Thanks alot.
Thank you so so much, Carina. We have one Thai dessert on our channel - red ruby. You can go to our Thai recipe playlist to get it. That will go perfectly well with all these Thai dishes. Yummy! Happy cooking!
@@spicenpans @@spicenpans I love how you garnished the dish with pork floss - this is how I like it to be presented. Most restaurants don't do that and just put three prawns on top of the rice.
Hehehe. That’s our usual squabble off the screen too. Good thing I got it caught on tape!! 🤣🤣🤣 thank you so much for watching the video until the end!!
Really like your version of this dish! That's actually a good idea to mix chicken and prawns, I might try it as well. Got a new sub here! I also cooked it as my latest video if you want to have a look, it's a bit different recipe since I don't use chicken, but I believe it's good as well 😊
Really nice recipe but creating that pineapple boat was such a huge amount of effort and at times rather dangerous looking, I would give that a miss, thank you for showing us though.
Hahaha, i know what you mean by dangerous. It looked dangerous to me too as I was editing the video. LOL. Hope you'll enjoy this recipe. Happy cooking!
BANANA BOAT 🤣🤣😁ITS OKAY WE ALL KNOW THAT ITS NOT BANANA ITS PINEAPPLE...ANYWAY I LIKE THE RECIPE SO MUCH THIS IS WHAT IM THINKING FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS WHEN I AND MY FRND EAT IN THAI RESTAURANT .THANK YOU CHEF.MORE POWER.
Thank you for providing me with all the recipes for all my favorite dishes. Please keep them coming 😊. We used to have Thai pineapple fried rice in our favourite small Thai Restaurant in Katong. How do you prepare the pork floss? We can't get it ready made here. Warm regards, Ang Mo
Love to try this recipe. When u say 159g rice is this uncooked or cooked rice? And sorry just to clarify did u use 2 rice cooker cups of rice to boil the rice or 2 normal measuring cooking cups?
