Very true about duty free in Dubai, cheapest among major airport from my experience. No major accidents in several decades from Thai Airways, last clash was in 1992 at Katmandu airport, everyone knows how dangerous this airport is.

Rentals less than one month violate the Hotel Act. You can still rent monthly on AirBnB or directly. This protects hotels, but also makes condo living better. People renting for a few days tend to have a hotel mindset, have parties, be louder… long term residents are more respectful.

The management of a condo unit should be able to register with Airbnb, Bookings, etc and then dictate what is allowed and not allowed (ie short term rentals)…. Then when an owner tries to register a unit for rent it would be rejected… It’s not difficult technology wise

Wish it was that easy. There are hundreds of online companies worldwide that offer rentals in different languages. For example Russia and china do not use Agoda. It will get around eventually as feedback on the sites will share their experiences. 👍
