agreed 100% though I think black interiors are terrible, just like black paint. They hide too many lines and character. This car looks way better with the tan/brown or at least accented interior.
Do I think the car looks good? I saw one snd ordered a 2023 Convertible and trading in my 2010 beloved yellow vette. Can’t wait. Should be here for spring🏖️
LC500 was tested here in my place at 1°C (34°F) with the roof down and was f**** amazing (thanks to climate concierge). the best convertible atm. btw, all the best in 2021 to you!
Hey Paul. Glad you finally got to experience this beast. I am not sick of that V8 sound yet and doubt I ever will. No fake exhaust for me thanks.Great review as it is now tempting me to get the convertible 😄
I think the Lexus LC V8 could become a collectors car, its beautiful. But i do agree with you with this interior colour , it would look better with another colours or two colours, but looks good. I would like to see a bit more interior fanciness like some of the mercedes do have.
I agree...one of the best sounding V8's around. I'm on the waiting list for the IS500, I hope and pray it's exhaust note is closer to the LC instead of the RCF. Nice review!
Just love my red LC just a really beautiful car, comfortable and quick and always puts a smile on your face. You shouldn’t be fiddling with the infotainment system whilst driving and the concierge system always get the seat heading just right.
I simply love that Cadmium Orange. It is an amazing color that accentuates the lines. It was my second choice. And the exhaust note is intoxicating. Great review!
Stunning convertible, awesome sound Paul! But seriously I’d rather have a bloody pinball machine in my lap than try to make any seat, sound, mode adjustments on the fly!🤪😳 Happy New Year mate & hopefully a better 2021 than 2020! Cheers🍻
Great review Paul and happy new year I love the design and engine of this car shame it is so underrated and also do you think you could review another Lexus if you could get your hands on one thanks
It's a pity in Australia, even with our scorching summer temperatures, we get acres of black leather interiors while other markets get white, beige red - gorgeous colours but not Australia???
Would be great to see if golf bag fits in the back. In LC 500 hard top you can fit even two golf bags, but now I want to change to the convertible. And would like to know.
This is my dream car, I’ve got a 2019 Mustang GT and the only thing that’s remotely comparable is they both sound great but Lexus (Toyota) absolutely nailed that LC500
The lexus looks goooood... the problem is the tech... it's not only infotainment system... it's also the engine... it sounds so good why you ask? it sounds like old school V8s that we don't see from BMW... Mercedes etc.... because it's a very old engine... the 2UR-GSE been around since 2007... when BMW had the E92 M3 with a NA V8 engine or the W204 C63 with NA V8 as well... both sounded amazing like this but both are 2 generations ago now or 14 years ago!! Hence 0-100 is 5.7 seconds a good 2.5 seconds 0-100 slower than M8... or 2 seconds slower than M3 or C63... Reasons why you don't see many... it's a cool car though... but just not many people's #1 choice if they have 230k to spend.
Yeah this is really ancient compared to the new stuff. It is also not in the same class, it's much slower, the infotainment is horrendous, I mean that reverse camera is terrible for a car well over 200K. Any equivalent would have full surround camera etc. I agree, it's a cool car, but not for 250k. Maybe 150K!
Hey Paul, I really love your car review videos but I have one request could you please review a Toyota Fortuner Crusade . I think every one would really like that, if you cant get a Crusade any other model of the fortuner would work. Cheers Paul
Definitely the Infrared. The candy apple red is so special and pops so much. It looks AMAZING under the sun. But if you want to blend into the sea of black, white, silver, grey cars, white is the right choice.
Saw a coupe few days ago (in Serbia believe it or not). It looks a lot better in person because of the proportions. It was a hybrid unfortunately, so no v8 sound.
Thanks Paul great review , great looking sports car and love that ATMO engine note. I feel they should of blacked out the front and rear light surrounds as it would of enhanced the style even more and looked less busy. Also love the little nod to the LFA with the on dash drive mode toggles and similar drivers display movement. Little let down is net storage in the cabin on a 200k car looks like an after thought as it’s a sports car and is not meant to be super practical. I would let that slide to hear that V8 rumble every day. The ISF with the same engine needs the same sound track ?? Thanks again loving the cars your reviewing 👍👍
I used to think it looked good but a bit odd, now it has grown on me and i really like it. In fact i may buy one in 2 odd years to join my boxster s and f type
@@CarExpertAus lol.. sorry but nope .. Australian tax is not that much higher than US'.. i can understand upto 20 grands difference for this particular car.. but the difference is 60 grands!!!!!!! crazzz
@@도깨비이 Base price of the car is AUD$180,478. Dealer delivery is $2800, registration is $450, 3rd party CTP is $540, stamp duty is $19,584, luxury car tax is $34,331 and GST is $18,300. So total taxes are just over $76,000. The purchase price is also subject to import duties.
I am a big fan of the Lexus LC cars. Love the looks but yeah, lexus needs to get thier sh*t together with the infotainment system. The v8 sounds great... but it would be interesting for it to be compared with a 2015+ facelift 300 SRT with the 6.4, which sounds epic as well. Dying breed the big N/a V8s. (The jeeps SRTs are bit muted compared so needs to be the 300 SRT)
This is the first car I've seen where the interior actually looks like what I think a car interior should look like in the 21st century.
ikr heaps of brands like tesla just try to be all futuristic
Haha saw that same comment from you on carwow

To my ears, that is the best sounding naturally aspirated V8 out there.
And compared to the competition, it looks out of this world. It is gorgeous!
The most gorgeous & best value buy GT in the market today IMO Good review
It’s a stunner!
sounds like a V8 supercar from the 90's ! wicked
Agreed! The noise is very old school and sounds amazing!
If I could afford one, I would buy it just for that sound alone.
One of the best sounds in nature!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
LEXUS LC500 😍 DREAM CAR 👍👌
Happy New Year 🎊🎈🎆 Mate!
I’ll definitely check it out this week.
LC500 was tested here in my place at 1°C (34°F) with the roof down and was f**** amazing (thanks to climate concierge). the best convertible atm.
btw, all the best in 2021 to you!
🥶
Not only does it look unique and beautiful with an awesome V8 engine...it’s Lexus and it’s bullet proof
Hey Paul. Glad you finally got to experience this beast. I am not sick of that V8 sound yet and doubt I ever will. No fake exhaust for me thanks.Great review as it is now tempting me to get the convertible 😄
i did not think I'd make it to the end, and was stunned when i found the video was ending, great stuff man
Your not wrong.. that has to be one of the best sounding V8s to come out of a factory.. unreal
Agreed!
haha, was waiting for that cheeky smile when it started, the engine in this sounds amazing, goes to show its not all about the most power
Agreed 😁
The only thing I would destroy quicker than the Wheels, would be my Licence.

Thats the coolest dash with the moving bit inside!
I agree. I have just bought a new one -LC500 covertible. Will let you know how it goes. Love your program.
Always love your car review Paul! Learning not only about cars but also Aussie English(Go out of a limb and Bob is your uncle)
Seems to be a good car for Lexus, Another YT car channel I watch "The Straight Pipes" called it their car of the year
I love those guys! Will check it out.
@@CarExpertAus I watch them too, they're pretty damn good.
This is a beautiful machine 😍 I’ll never forget when I first seen this car in white in beige interior omggg😩. This is great video !
Very nice Paul, your face said it all when you had it in sport mode
Way to kick off the new year, well done keep up the great work 💪💪👍👍
😁 it’s hard not to smile!

In the US, a fully loaded 2021-2022 LC 500 convertible is around $118,000 USD.
I simply love that Cadmium Orange. It is an amazing color that accentuates the lines. It was my second choice. And the exhaust note is intoxicating.
Great review!
I'm glad that you just review the car instead of trying to sell us the car (cough....cough..... CarWow)
😅

Wicked review mate, happy New Years looking forward to many amazing clips
Thank you! Plenty of fun stuff to come this year 😁
I've owned BMW, Corvette, Porsche and Lexus RCF, by far this car gets way more attention and conversion that all of my other ones combined. 👍🏽
Great review Paul and happy new year I love the design and engine of this car shame it is so underrated and also do you think you could review another Lexus if you could get your hands on one thanks
my wallet: n/a
hahaha
Very nice Paul, sweet crisp sounding V8.
It's a pity in Australia, even with our scorching summer temperatures, we get acres of black leather interiors while other markets get white, beige red - gorgeous colours but not Australia???
Love ❤️ the sound wonderful car Paul great start for 2021. Mate Happy new year.
Happy New Year Paul, all the best!

The design is epic your on the money
Would be great to see if golf bag fits in the back. In LC 500 hard top you can fit even two golf bags, but now I want to change to the convertible. And would like to know.
I'm in love wth your reviews 😍
Thanks mate!
Happy New Year Paul!!!
Thanks mate. You too!
The perfect vehicle to create any clay or plastic models. The vivid orange color seems easy to reproduce in terms of outline and costs.
My dream car man... best looking car from the factory imo. AND THAT SOUND
This is my dream car, I’ve got a 2019 Mustang GT and the only thing that’s remotely comparable is they both sound great but Lexus (Toyota) absolutely nailed that LC500
Green with light brown interior

i love the car, but hate that crease from the a pillar down to the fender and wheel arch.
Nice looking car and at that price, you'd expect it to do everything really well but still prefer the sound of the Coyote V8 in my Mustang.
Very, very good review.
This has always been one of my favourite sounding V8s. On par with an M156 C63 V8.
Looking stunning!
What camera+lenses used for this video? Really nice quality specially in 4K. Some Canon full frame)?
8:48 I had to replay that part about 6 times. 😉

any other model of the fortuner would work. Cheers Paul
Hi Paul can you review Mitsubishi Triton Gls Premium please ? If possible ?
Will try and get our hands on one soon 😁
I’ll be delight it 😍
The LC convertible is not available as a hybrid. The LC coupe is available with both V8 and hybrid engines.
It looks bonkers Paul!
Will you be doing a car review on the 2021 GWM Cannon?
Ive always loved this car. Im finally able to order one... I did a few weeks ago. When will it be here you ask? I have no clue. *shrug* Ahhhh 2021
That sounds of the normally aspirated V8 = like I am having an eargasm.😛
Hi! Great video and review! What is the best colour for the LC: red or white? Thank you
Definitely the Infrared. The candy apple red is so special and pops so much. It looks AMAZING under the sun. But if you want to blend into the sea of black, white, silver, grey cars, white is the right choice.
Looks a thousand times better than the Germans... if it had a better infotainment unit it’d be perfect 👌
Gorgeous sound and, arguably gorgeous looks if you like razor sharp angles, which I do! Reminds me a little of Audi R8
Looks nice, sounds great. Good job Lexus.
happy new year sir. and happy new year for everyone who's seeing this comment
Saw a coupe few days ago (in Serbia believe it or not). It looks a lot better in person because of the proportions. It was a hybrid unfortunately, so no v8 sound.
Yeah the hybrid is a random choice. They sound so bad compared to the V8
Was hoping for some savagegeesse rev limiter bounce 😀 nice video
Most beautiful convertible GT ever produced.
Sounds brilliant
you think you can you fit a baby car seat on the drivers side rear seat?
When are we getting an LC-F?
Perfect dream car!
We just bought a silver convertible and it’s bad ass !!!!!
Hi Paul.. Wessie from south Africa. Can you please do a review on mahindra bakkies
Lexus LFA has the same moving instrument display.
Thanks Paul great review , great looking sports car and love that ATMO engine note. Considering that Lexus likes a “special edition” they may make a limited run with a chrome delete
@@eshanmirash2456 good point your probably right and it will look great!
Also the limited edition in Structural Blue
Looks nice in that blue too!
Legit looks like a hot wheels car? And that’s coming from me who is a Lexus fan!
It’s gorgeous
Looks amazing.Teriffic review. 👍🇬🇧
USD 161000? 🤯 It costs around 110k for one with prestige package here in the states. Crazy difference!
I used to think it looked good but a bit odd, now it has grown on me and i really like it. In fact i may buy one in 2 odd years to join my boxster s and f type
The drive-away price is $237,000???
😍😍😍😍😍😍 Awesome, u r so lucky driving and review great cars. 🍻🥂
...that sound 👌
😁🤯
16:44 that sounds just so wild 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks amazing.... In white please. I'd pick this over any of the equivalent European
I haven’t seen one in white yet!
No way in hell i am spending 160k on a C8 Corvette. $215k for that Lexus is not looking that expensive anymore that is a really nice car Paul.
I’ve never liked convertibles, also thought the coupe is a much better option. But the sound this makes, awesome with the roof down.
What a car...really amazing
😁
Sound. Tick!
Looks:
Clean side angle YES
3/4 Angle Yuk. Too fat.
Rear view: sweet.
Has it been Crash Tested?
Not yet! Most cars I’m this segment have never been crash tested. Would be curious to see how it goes!
Review the mclaren 570s pls
It’s no longer in production!
The designs look 👍good
that thing looks awesome
They should have left out the two rear seats and used that space for a bigger boot!
Good thinking!
usd100 grand in US vs usd160 grand in Australia for the same car.. stupid pricing in Australia as usual . why ???
#taxes

No hard top?
It sucks because I love this car. It’s been out for nearly 5 years and I’ve seen 2 on the road. 1 convertible 1 coupe.
It's very very nice but I think the Jaguar f type V8 convertible takes it in the looks department
11:59 biggest shock of my life, the boot lid closes!?!
I am a big fan of the Lexus LC cars. Love the looks but yeah, lexus needs to get thier sh*t together with the infotainment system.

For that price, I'd get a couple of very nice cars. Maybe the new Corvette and a Prado.
