I grew up on an Ohio farm (80 acres) milked a few dozen cows, raised feeder pigs, laying chickens, and grew our own corn, soybeans, and hay. That was back the 1960s. Love watching your farming operation and all the hard work you do. Thanks for sharing with us . . . it brings back many fond memories!
It's wonderful to see a father and son work so well together. You both have a lot of respect and love for each other. In fact, your entire family seems wonderful. It takes a lot of hard work and love to make it work, and you and your family are very good examples. BTW, your wife is beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. And your darling daughter is absolutely gorgeous. I grew up working hay fields with my father in the summer. He was the Ag teacher at our local high school and the advisor for the FFA also. Those were the days when there was only 1 FFA member each year who was chosen Star Farmer of America. Dad was so honored to have a student win the Star Farmer award many years ago. He was such an amazing man and was a father to many of his FFA guys. But I was the lucky one...I was first in line having him as my father. But there were a lot of students who were grateful to have him in their lives too. God Bless ! Glenda
I don't think alot of people realize how hard farm life is it's never really done. You remind me of the boys I went to high school with who farmed. They would get up and milk and clean and feed and put hay away beforw school. And then go home after and do it all over again. Another great generation of American Farmers
Two crops being harvested at the same time gets pretty hectic, but you and dad get it done. You and your family run a top notch operation. Great video Eric. Thank you.
You and "Cole the Cornstar' are running neck and neck with users... you are both the new generations of a hard-working farmers. Besides you are a dairyman as well
Farmers are always hard workers and never complain also you can see the passion they have in what they do which I respect a lot always wanted to work on a farm when I was a kid shame I didn’t grow up in the countryside great videos keep it up!
The combine and side tractor-hopper are an amazing choreography of fast fluid motion in unison, not a single wasted manoeuvre, not a lost second of time!
the number and variety of your day's activities blows me away. Not sure you'd be impressed if you followed me around for day. And the fact that you can show us all that so clearly - wow. You are an incredible videographer as well.
Thank you for taking the time out of your very busy days and recording them for TH-cam!! My wife and I watch you on our TV at home. So I have to login to my computer to type a comment. You and your Dad work very hard!! You all deserve the best! Take care and God Bless!
Such an awesome channel! My kids 5 2 and 2 love it. As a 38 yo it brings back so many memories of working on the farm when I was a kid/teen. Thank you! Can you give a shout out to Cam , Tuck and Ollie from Connecticut! That would make their year! Thank you!
Absolutely amazing overhead drone shots! It’s like a well choreographed ballet to watch the precision of everyone working together in such a smooth and efficient fashion! Love it 😊 !
Thanks for all the work with videos. I really like them and for me your videos are more interesting because you are on a dairyfarm and a lot more interesting action to watch. Have a good day.
Great Video. I like seeing all the different aspects of a mixed farm operation. I feel for you having to get up so very early. I did that many times when I used to go duck hunting with my Dad. Had to be out on the marsh before sunrise and it was cold and damp. Same with Canada Goose hunting and being on the field before sunrise. My Grand Parents had a family farm and milking machine but some of the cows had to be milked " old school " by hand sitting on the old three legged stool. I remember that and drinking fresh milk later. 365 days a year those cows need milking and care. Us city folks don't appreciate the effort involved to get the milk to the Safeway store. Nice to see hard working people doing a good job and being successful.
Having grown up next door to a family Dairy Farm and now moved on to Construction for the last few years. I really miss the farm life. Your farm setup is very similar and makes me wanna go back, (except for the silo part lol) My uncle ditched his silos for all bunker and wrapped big square bales and we never missed those messy old towers of pain ;) Really great work with the time lapse of field work and camera angles! I know the feeling of trying to stay ahead of the chopper in hay amid breakdowns all too well..
Makes my day watching your videos. Thanks for working so hard and appreciate you sharing your farming world. Brings back great memories as I was raised in dairy country in a small town in Oregon. Look forward to your next video and I’ll keep watching.
I am getting more and more impressed with your videos ! I am a retired John Deere Mechanic from Canada . I find it very interesting watching all the procedures . I am also very impressed with how hard you are always working. Always on the go. Good one thx for posting.
Great work, great drone footage, thankyou for sharing, your farm work is always the same - and always different, and always interesting. your nose to the grindstone.... full speed ahead!
You could have said I wish I were like the MMF...nice new equipment and 3 months off in the summer & 3 months off in the winter. Last I knew about Dairy Farms was the work = 18 X 7 X 365. Your vlog filming & editing has increased exponentially this past year. 🚜 🚜 🚜 🚜 🚜
I love watching your videos Eric. Very much enjoying them, reminds me of growing up on the farm in Ohio in my younger days. Now I'm getting old and living in the heat and discontent of Florida, I'd Much Rather be Back Home in Ohio. Thanks for the Videos Eric, I know it's alot of work, I appreciate all your hard work on the videos.
Been watching this channel for a while and just now introduced my wife to it because I had to explain why I threw her sprite outta my fridge. Awesome job man! ! Keep it up! !
Love your vids dude! It definitely adds the necessary perspective to what a farmer's life is like to those us that take things for granted just by shopping in a super market. Keep it up!
“The distributor wasn’t working right” story of my life. We have the same unloader. I always have a small celebration when I level the silo for the last time each year.
I don't have to tell you to watch out for your fingers, but always plan ahead to leave your self a way out.! Whenever you get that first gut feeling, obey it, for those trying to watch over you. Complacency and assumptions belong to everyone else, but not you.! I don't know why I tell you this, but I believe you do.! Stay safe one minute at a time.! " Thumbs Up "
That chopping crew is spot on!! They do a coordinated dance.......like a ballet. Amazing!!
