There amazing piece of machinery. They call em combines cuz they thrash and pull the grain out thus the name combine lol look up case axial flow combine and they have a few videos that show how the grain is processed in the machine.. it’s amazing!
You work so hard and it's an inspiration. I work and go to grad school and sometimes the motivation to get up in the morning and get my day going is not there, I'm just exhausted. Seeing you bust ass any time of the day is inspiring.
Never thought I would find the part of the internet where I would see different type of farmers talking smack to each other. Can’t lie.. I’m not disappointed
HI ERIC! I just subscribed to your channel. liked what I saw! I two am from pa. glad to see a home town farmer. well keep them videos coming thank you.
I grew up in the wheatbelt region of Western Australia, seeing the differences in farming techniques for you, as compared to what's done over here, is absolutely fascinating to me. Keep up the great content, it makes for good watching after my shifts
Flex drapers are good for crops that are laid over like that. No gap in the crop feeding like you would get on an auger head. He's going cross-ways because (as you said) it's easier to pick up going sideways rather than from behind, as that will just flatten it more. Great video.
Noah Ranker Yep. Just not used to such huge machinery. I come from the land of small dairy farms - or did anyway. Most of them have gone under. Their fields are now giant lawns for single homes.
Erick, we just caught up with all your videos ! You’re very knowledgeable and all the farming work you do is very interesting! You have a great work ethics and, you just got yourself a new subscriber!!! Keep it up, my dude!!! Greetings from Massachusetts! PS; Mountain Dew. ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
I have watched all your videos over the last two weeks. I can't say I have ever done that with any other YT channel I have subbed to. It won't be easy to wait for the next one now.
This is what grain farmers do🤣🤣🤣 he should be one-way cutting the beans. Opposite the way their laying to pick them all up. Welcome to the grain cart life!!
Live and fish in Hawaii and not a farmer at all. But you got the most entertaining videos. Im sure if I ever get a farm these videos will help lol. Great job and keep it up. 🤙
Sometimes I think of cash croppers on Christmas morning. Oh well. 80 bushels is a darn good yield. Good timing, lots of guys are in for breakfast right now.
When you store that grain at the bins do you only store it with your beans or dose it mix in with everyone else's or do they store everyone's separately?
They can do 1 of 2 things they can either sell it spot (right when they drop it off) or they can do dp (delayed price) they can have the co op store their grain for a couple cents a month per bushel and then sell when the price goes up but it does get mixed in with everyone else’s or at least that is what they do where we haul our grain
Yeah dirt farming is boring. Lol. But when weathers bad they take off. Those old black and whites don't quite making milk when the weather turns bad. 7 days a week, 365 a year. We never got a day off when we had a dairy. Dirt farmers always have pretty machines and dairy farmers have rusty manure packed stuff.
Down beans are usually good yeilding beans ,but hard to get ! You must sell them as cash crop ,or do you process them for feed , I just assume since they went to the elevator it's for cash ! Grain farmers certainly do have a different typical day than you for sure! Thanks for the video!
I think the most interesting thing about how you farm over there in Pennsylvania compared to here in Alberta is the field sizes. 12 Acre fields? That's tiny!
You should be very proud young man, you have over 21000 views by dinner, on a work day!!! Very impressive stuff!!! Need some Dew to wash down the bean dust!!
I see a lot of soybean fields up here in Erie Pa but have never seen the beans up close. What do they taste like? Loved the drone footage. The combine is amazing how it can harvest the beans and leave the neat rows of the stubble. Thanks for the video as usual.
Yes we do sit around for about half of the year, but we also don't get paid like dairy people get. After few days I am going to harvest rice and I am worried, neighboring fields are getting output of 0.6 ton per Acer only because of wind and rice blast disease.
Are the Soybeans , sold or used on the farm for feed? It's probably a dumb question, but I don't know anything about farming . I love your channel and learning about how farming works. God bless you and your family.
It amazes me how that machine can cut pick and shell those tiny little beans and do it so quickly and not lose any. Thanks for the video.
lidsman22 IKR! i was just thinking the same thing! it’s a cool piece of equipment!
There amazing piece of machinery. They call em combines cuz they thrash and pull the grain out thus the name combine lol look up case axial flow combine and they have a few videos that show how the grain is processed in the machine.. it’s amazing!
Fantastic!! The inner workings of the harvest. Thanks for sharing. Peace from SW Florida.
You work so hard and it's an inspiration. I work and go to grad school and sometimes the motivation to get up in the morning and get my day going is not there, I'm just exhausted. Seeing you bust ass any time of the day is inspiring.
Soybean! According to farm sim, this is the money maker crop right here!
yes, prices are up to $8 a bushel, that's a lot of money in the bank
$8 a bushel is crap from a grain farmer we don’t get paid enough for what we do
You don’t realize how good farming simulator is until you recognize the combine and tractor from the game.
Luke Thomas yep
Playing farming sim 19 harvesting soybeans as i watch the video lol
A combine whats that
I play farming sim 19
Luke Thomas the best game
This is what grainfarmers do,sit and wait... Loved that one:)
And that's why he can't load on the go cause he's not a grain farmer LMAO 😂 😂😂 😂😂 😂😂 😂. Sorry I just had to add that👍👍✌️
You could read a book from a Kindle.
Never thought I would find the part of the internet where I would see different type of farmers talking smack to each other. Can’t lie.. I’m not disappointed
I gotta admit. I did start and finish Breath of The Wild while trucking grain during harvest when it released.
All farmers are wack.. except beet farmers.
Great, thanks for sharing, our farmers, and you in particular are doing the best.
I love all the content in videos showing everything you do on a dairy farm to provide MILK to grocery stores.
That's cool you showed us that let me tell you you're a perfect example of a farmer working hard wish I had you on my farm thank you for the video 👍🇺🇸
HI ERIC! I just subscribed to your channel. liked what I saw! I two am from pa. glad to see a home town farmer. well keep them videos coming thank you.
I always like your videos! Drone footage is awesome. Mad props to all Farmers!
Great video Eric! The drone footage was a nice touch too. Thanks for posting for us to enjoy! You're the best!
I grew up in the wheatbelt region of Western Australia, seeing the differences in farming techniques for you, as compared to what's done over here, is absolutely fascinating to me.
Keep up the great content, it makes for good watching after my shifts
Rei Now you made me curious about farming technique differences!
Nice clean looking beans. That New Holland does a great job.
Awesome! Ive never seen soy beans like that before great video thanks all your hard work...great drone footage as well!!

If you are the example, All farmers always work hard. Blessings!
Eric, I "like" and "subscribe" and have made comments before. THANK YOU for showing everybody where our food comes from. You really rock!
Great! Keep it up! Wish I can visit your place one of these days.
That combine looks scary but your decision to use the leftovers for bedding is admirable. What a good idea.
gruntqueen scary?
Noah Ranker Yep. Just not used to such huge machinery. I come from the land of small dairy farms - or did anyway. Most of them have gone under. Their fields are now giant lawns for single homes.
Awesome mate, thanks for teaching some of us lay farmers !
patricia here... i am really loving the drone footage you take... thanks!!!
Having grown up in Chicago, this lifestyle seems so serene and calming. Not sure what farmhands make, but I'd definitely consider it.
Sky Corrigan In my area you’d maybe make 20-25ish an hour if you knew how to operate and do maintenance on everything.
@@snowdirt2529 not bad. I assume work is over 40 hrs/week
Sky Corrigan During the busy seasons of spring and fall on a cereal crop production farm you’d easily work 80+ hours a week.
Erick, we just caught up with all your videos ! You’re very knowledgeable and all the farming work you do is very interesting!
You have a great work ethics and,
you just got yourself a new subscriber!!! Keep it up, my dude!!!
Greetings from Massachusetts!
PS; Mountain Dew. ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
Loved the video, great work. As has been said Great music.
Your drone shots are great, you have a great eye for video!
Those combines are amazing pieces of equipment!
Sweet harvest vids drone footage is nice keep up the good vids
It's awesome to think that I subbed around 32k and now look at you! Regular movie star now. Congrats and thank you for sharing. Take care.
3:28 Jeff, one of the coolest, nicest, hardest working people I know!
@shortlinebryan i agree i also know jeff
Love seeing all that new Holland equipment
You do more to educate people about farming than anyone I know. Thank you. GO PA FARMERS!
Looks nice and warm there, it's 7° here in Fairbanks, AK! Enjoyed the video.
Drone shots! Very nice.
Nice to see you working hard I love to work like that (farming) but I don't have agriculture land
Hi there from a fellow farmer from another part of the world .. keep up the good work
Now those are some lodged beans. They must’ve been a little too happy throughout the season. 80 bu would be outstanding where I’m from!
Great video AGAIN!!! keep em coming
Excellent footage for the video!
Great footage from the drone!
I have watched all your videos over the last two weeks. I can't say I have ever done that with any other YT channel I have subbed to. It won't be easy to wait for the next one now.
Check out MN Millenial farmer and Welker farms. Also good vids to watch
@@gunner1811 I already watch MN.
Damn great machines, gets a lot of labor out the way.
We just got our soybeans done nice to see you guys are getting them of too👍
Man your videos are awesome 🔥
Watching a year later watched it when it first came out. Can't believe I've been with these guys for so long already like where did time go
That drone footage is amazing great job!
It’s amazing how these combine headers can get so close to the ground. Eighty bushels an acre. Isn’t that way above average? Drone footage is great.
Yeah guys would be hard pressed to get 50 where I live
This is what grain farmers do🤣🤣🤣 he should be one-way cutting the beans. Opposite the way their laying to pick them all up. Welcome to the grain cart life!!
Eric.. You're the Pewdeepie of farming videos... Keep um coming
Long days hard work makes a good man out of you. 👍
I just subscribed a week ago, and since then, you've added 5k more subscribers! So cool to see. Congrats!
There are some great farm channels... have learned so much..
SoyBoy!
Sorry couldn't resist :-)
We just did our beans yesterday. I am putting the video together now
Nice combine!
I play farming sim 19 a lot and this just made me so happy to watch. So cool!
Its driving me nuts what grain elevator that is ... looks like a couple feed trucks in there?
80. That's very good. You guys must have been living right in PA.
Holy shit the beans you guys can grow blows my mind
Love that. What a job that is.
great drone shots!
Keep on farming...... without farmers the world would still be living in caves 👍
Beautiful farm video
I really enjoy your videos and look forward to each new one!
Hope your yields do better than ours . Neighbor up the road only made 3 an acre . We made 30
Such a great video! Thanks for all the hard work. Blessings to you and yours.
Live and fish in Hawaii and not a farmer at all. But you got the most entertaining videos. Im sure if I ever get a farm these videos will help lol. Great job and keep it up. 🤙

When you store that grain at the bins do you only store it with your beans or dose it mix in with everyone else's or do they store everyone's separately?
i guess they are all mixed. or maybe since he has so many fields, they can hold all of his harvest in one silo. they do weigh his loads.
Those are some large gravity wagons.
It is incredible how tall your soybean plants are. Around here in central Ohio they get about mid thigh to knee.
Does the custom guy have his own fields? Or is being a custom guy his main line of work?
he probably has his own field so he can play with his toys :-)
Yeah dirt farming is boring. Lol. But when weathers bad they take off. Those old black and whites don't quite making milk when the weather turns bad. 7 days a week, 365 a year. We never got a day off when we had a dairy. Dirt farmers always have pretty machines and dairy farmers have rusty manure packed stuff.
How long would it take from planting to harvesting? Thanks.

We put them in the grain bank because we feed toasted beans to the cows
Just curious , figured you'd probably feed them somehow ! Thanks for the reply
Gd movies! Love your content! :)

Great Video!
Why do you have you combining custom done? Also do you sell the soybeans or use them for reading cattle?
Because we don't combine very many acres. We will feed them to the cows
Love to watch the vids, Keep up the great work :D
it looks so warm there, i'm jealous.
Nolan Thompson 98f here in socal today i would say come here but this place sucks. 🍻
yeah what country is that even
I really like the music. Who is it?
Jean Perry that’s a very good question. Good tune.
I learn a lot from this channel. We had this crop in a field near my house and I had no clue what it was. Now I know.
Love watching the harvest.
Really clean beans
I see a lot of soybean fields up here in Erie Pa but have never seen the beans up close. What do they taste like? Loved the drone footage. The combine is amazing how it can harvest the beans and leave the neat rows of the stubble. Thanks for the video as usual.
Not like much. Vaguely beany.
Great video I work at a diary my self
nice episode as always.
Just seeing this. Did your farm get screwed because of the tariffs and did you qualify for grants?
Yes we do sit around for about half of the year, but we also don't get paid like dairy people get. After few days I am going to harvest rice and I am worried, neighboring fields are getting output of 0.6 ton per Acer only because of wind and rice blast disease.
An question:you will not have problems harvesting the soybeans?? I mean the straw
Great video
Keep up the great work
I love soybeans and the harvest
Are the Soybeans , sold or used on the farm for feed? It's probably a dumb question, but I don't know anything about farming . I love your channel and learning about how farming works.
God bless you and your family.
Same question.
Great video. Did you say you hold the beans there and get when you need them
Love The Dairy so what is the name of the town that is visible from the bean fields??
