Thanks for explaining the details of the discbine; the hookup and controls. The drone shots are good because they allow a bigger picture of the work you do, but the real stuff is in the detailed exposition of the work you and your family do. My favorite youtube channel. Thanks again.
Thanks very much for these videos, I really like your describing what you are doing. Always wanted to be a farmer but worked in the corporate world. If I had it to do over I would have been a farmer. As a retiree, I really enjoy the videos,
Wow I haven’t seen a more professionally done TH-cam video! Your camera skills and drone shots are amazing. I’m from rural PA now living on our small farm in Louisiana, so your vids always bring me back home. I wish everyone could see how hard our farmers work. Love your channel!
I know this sounds simple, but thank you for sharing your life on thefarm. Always waiting for the next video. Keep up the excellent work. Especially the drone. I lived in Red lion,PA for 12 years. Always loved harvest time. Driving around checking out all the farms. Take care. God bless
I love your series, brings back fond memories. I grew up on a dairy farm across the river in NJ. In the 50s there were over 350 dairies in our county, today none. You had quite a 5th cutting! Please keep up the wonderful work!
Hi Eric, Great video! Lots of variety and interesting stuff going on. The drone shots were beautiful! Thanks for all your hard work and sharing your videos with us.
I'm from Brazil, but I still watch all your videos, I don't miss one if you want, it's very important to understand the level of agriculture in another country. I admire you a lot and keep it up ..... Send a salver to SALVADOR / BA
Great videos a retired farmer and enjoy sitting in my easy chair watching you as you work from 0-dark-thirty to the same on the PM side. My Dad and I did that many times, we lived in the Sacramento Valley so our growing season was much longer. I was wondering what the little fenced in area was at the (7:55) mark. A Family Cemetery maybe? Great job, hank in there, like your Uncle and Dad you’re time to slow down a bit will be there before you know it and you will look back and say where did all those years go. Don’t forget to have fun along the way.
Wow, in awe on what it TAKES! WOW. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving people the STRENGTH TO DO THIS. IN JESUS NAME AMEN! Sincerely Michelle Pup Harley and Kitty Liam Arlington Massachusetts
Love your videos, I live in a place called Swadlincote in United Kingdom surrounded by little villages and farms, learned so much about the farming life and what’s required just off your vids, keep them coming Eric
And also, the recent video you posted with first year corn on old hay ground...you had me thinking a corn issue...and then showed a can of montain dew in the corn patch.... was a surprise...very good.
I'm really liking this format where you end with the drone shots. I'm enjoying the interesting descriptions of the work close up but the beautiful drone shots at the end are a nice way to wrap it up. You're very talented in both farming and videoing. I just hope the music on the drone shots is public domain and you aren't in any danger of copyright strikes!
You do an excellent job of filming and editing. Like to see more detail of how any of the machinery works. It may seem boring or common sense to you but for those of us that never run it it’s pretty interesting. Love the channel.
Thought your drone footage was great, especially seeing the layout of your farm. Your video on corn silage harvest has reached over 1,020,000 views. Impressive. Always wonder where you got all those tires.
I love your vids because there so plain and my grandpa was a grain farmer as you call it and he did in July and I am the youngest grandson and I helped him my whole life. I woke up when he woke up around 5 to combine and I know a whole lot about farming. Back to my point I love how plain your vids are no intro just like what’s up guys then that’s the end of the vid and see you next time
One of the best channels on youtube. Thanks for the great videos.
