You know I think this was one of your best ESW videos so far, well done. Thanks very much for explaining parts of the wine making process, it adds a lot to the video and I learnt a lot👌👌 Please thank your butler for hauling the ice bucket and ice up the hill😉😉🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have signed the petition for the retention of the Panama in future videos All the best!!
Thanks David! I was really pleased with how this turned out, although I got distracted part way through doing the tasting notes (those cows!) and had to do a voiceover from memory for the last bit. The scenery was an absolute gift here though - being able to talk about the wine with the vineyard laid out before me was really special. Yes @TweedyOutdoors is the idiot who hauled the ice bucket up the hill - I just enjoyed the wine and the view!
@@EnglishSparklingWine It was just a shame that @TweedyPubs and @BurgundyWithTweedy couldn't be there to share the occasion. I think @TweedyPubs might have been ensconced in the White Horse with a pint or two of Harvey's .....
Thank you - it was a magical evening and definitely worth that initial hardship! I really hope other people might be inspired to do something similar and enjoy English wine in this beautiful landscape but I suspect I might be going out on a limb there...
@@barryconway Much appreciated! 😁 My take is that if people are watching a video on a wine channel they're probably expecting (maybe even hoping for?) a lot of pretentious wine terms! ...but yes "terroir" would seem a bit out of place on Tweedy Outdoors.
I enjoy your vids Tweedy, most engaging. What I'd really like to know is how do all these wonderful English sparklings compare with Champagne? How about a blind tasting or two?
Thank you! Yes that's a good idea, I should do a Champagne vs English Sparkling tasting at some point. It has of course been done before - there are various other TH-cam videos on that theme - but I'd find it interesting to give it my own spin. I'm not quite sure how the mechanics of a blind tasting would work though, as all of my videos are solo productions!
Beautiful work old chap!
I must agree! Stunning scenery there.

Commendable effort for lugging the ice bucket up the hill, plus the ice!

Stunning opening!🎉
Thank you! It's such a beautiful bit of countryside, as I probably also said on the other video all I really had to do was show up!
@@EnglishSparklingWine and drink, which is important 🍾
Excellent use of PowerPoint arrow graphics. Carry on.
Also points for fine use of the word terroir. Cheers.
Thanks Barry! I feel I had different feedback about the use of "terroir" on the other video! 😂
@@EnglishSparklingWine different context. carry on.

@@EnglishSparklingWine and tbh, there aren't that many on here. I know this, I'm a fanatic too 🤣
