Hey Clint. Thanks for the review and the discount code. I just placed an order in order to refresh my wardrobe.

Ha I am wearing a "Go Long" western-style sun shirt as I watch. I first got a flannel and "work pants" for cold weather rides but then I started wearing them all the time - hanging out, pubbing, skiing layers ...their stuff does it all.

I've been wanting to try Club Ride's stuff. I do have some experience riding and bikepacking with technical non-bikey types of clothing though. While I might opt for a lycra kit on a fast group ride, I love the option of more casual clothing for everyday use. Glad to see you expanding your content lately.

I’ve been wearing these button down Club Ride shirts for years now. The nice thing is they are loose fitting in the arms and arm pits, so are super comfy. Compared to say a Fox/Troy Lee jersey that are usually tight on me in XL size. It’s all about what mood I’m in that day. Sometimes I want a little tighter fit, sometimes looser.

I have a number of Club Ride gear - shirts / tops - and they run from short sleeve to long sleeve. I like the Comfort Fit as I am a Clyde - 6'2" - 235#. The fit and look is great. These work great for cycling vacations and I will typically wear a Club Ride shirt out the night before and then wear it for the ride the next morning. Being in ColoRADo, I also have a number of their colder weather Flannel Shirts and these are just excellent and you throw on a base layer or 2, depending on the temperature and you are good to go. A couple of other features - the zip pockets are well placed and great for your phone and there is also soft fabric on the inside of the bottom of the shirts for your glasses. I am a big Club Ride fan and I have 8 summer tops and 5 cold weather tops. The summer are split between 4 short sleeve and 4 long sleeve.

Thanks Clint! I just placed my first order with them, I have seen/heard a bit about the brand, and your video was enough to convince me to give them a try. Thanks!

I just went to a Sierra store and stumbled across one of these jerseys for 29.99. They also have some on their website for the same price.

I like CR shirts for mtb. If you are not racing they are great (button down ones) also I wear them at times when not riding . Another thing I like is the zipper side pocket in the shirts. That is where I put my keys. I don’t like to have thing in my pockets in my shorts. While riding

Looks like you're about to start a modelling career.
On MTB rides and slower gravel rides I wear a T-shirt and street shorts and a chamois; I may check out the Club Ride shorts.
On faster gravel rides I wear lycra as I think the aero benefits at 15 to 20 mph are significant enough to make a difference.

Looks great, but I personally like you in more form fitting gear, Clint. 😉

Kitsbow. Best apparel for mtb. Unfortunately, they closed last year.

I have the Club Ride New West shirt and love the fit and look of it but as soon as I put it on, I sweat!!! By the time I hit the trail, the shirt is dripping from sweat. I have a feeling that I should've gotten a different shirt with a different blend of materials but that's the one thing that has been stopping me from buying more.

Does anyone know if CR button up jerseys do well on gravel rides with drop bars? Just curious

Got a CR shirt a few years back. It was like a devilish little cheese grater for my nipples if I sweat a lot. Looked great though.

Clint, It would be great for some follow up feedback on how well the phone pocket worked with securing and preventing unwanted movement on the leg and or hip while peddaling or rowdy descents.

While these clothes look great, I cannot see myself biking with such loose fitting stuff. Especially when sweating in cooler weather, loose fitting clothes are very uncomfortable.

That's kind of the point - CR is the antithesis of spandex.

But I should say it is all wicking materials. So like I wore their stuff fat biking last winter and I was perfectly comfortable .

The concept of wearing a shirt that just I mountain biked in to a pub is laughable. How hard is it to have a towel and a clean, dry shirt stashed in your car? Or even in a small pack? That being said, shirts that button, or snap, up the front are going to be cooler than any crew-neck t-shirt. The folded collar loses function and comfort points. My favorite "jerseys" are sleeveless, have deep zippers in the front, and a loose fit. No silly back pockets. The problem is that nobody is making a shirt like that anymore.
