What hurts is how well the characters interact even without the Human Revolution connection. Mankind Divided plays well but they really lacked the Interesting NPCs. None of them had time to develop.
How would A Criminal Past fit into the main story? It would've been a massive detour. You're investigating the bombing and suddenly you gotta visit the psychiatrist to have a massive flashback to a prison break mission.
A Criminal Past would have hurt the pacing of the main game and the story, so that's the only one I would say is appropriate as a side story. But the others I can absolutely see incorporated into the main game like The Missing Link into DX:HR Director's Cut, provided there were small narrative tweaks like that game.
Because of this we probably will never see another Deus Ex again. Furthermore, did the first Deus Ex game nded with a happy ending? Illuminati destroyed, justice brought to the world and stuff?
Illuminati conspiracy... badass synth ambiance... future-tech... sneaking around inside a corporate building... This DLC feels more like Deus Ex than Mankind Divided, seriously. Especially with Pritchard back, being snippy with Adam, just feels like a good expansion on the aftermath of HR.

Hacking in this DLC was the most frustrating part. Quite often even with security level 1 or 2 each node had 45% likelihood of triggering the alarm + it was never just 1 or 2 nodes to hack.

Pritchard and Sharif geniunely care about Jensen and could be considered as his actual friends, aside of bantering part since Adam became pretty much lonewolf. You can consider Malik and Vega being the same but not as close. They should do more with side characters this time like Aria, Chikane and Macready. Miller was done well though, others time were fairly limited.
I am so pleased to hear familiar voices all over the game. Sandoval is now almoust every crook and, if you really paid attention, he is the one on the speakers in GARM (random lines, not the one when you start moving the drill). And of course, our poor soul Wayne Haas is now to hear in the TV :D

I mean its just common sense line up with the left corner of the platform jump and dont stop moving fowards. hes falling because he isnt confident in his movements and trying to stop the jump early so as to not drop off the other side, infact this entire gameplay was riddled with that lack of confidence, it was painful to watch.

And Francis is even trying to talk about this thing beetwen them, he CARES, but Adam may think that it's better for everybody for him to stay singlee (which, in his case, lonely is a better word). Bc, you know, he trusted Megan even in MD, after he saw what she did to him. And that betrayal, that she woked for the company that's trying to destroy him AGAIN? He has some sort of regeration aug, it does not affect him, neither the booze or the cigars.
The augmentations helps accelerate his metabolism.
