Steve , please don’t pay any attention to the negative comments. So you didn’t show the inside of the bag ? I for one think you do a excellent job and if you don’t record every little detail it’s because your busy ! It’s not a mistake, it’s business. We are lucky you take the time to record any of your projects! Thanks for what you do Steve!

First of all, I love your intro!!! Automatically puts me in a good mood!!! I love several of the bags on the *jklux* , but I think my favorite is the black Chanel replica. How could I say no to something so classic and high-end. It’s so beautiful!

I appreciate that you do extra work simply because it’s the right thing to do. That’s what taking pride in your work is all about! I approach work the same way. The excitement and appreciation from the customer is far more valuable than any dollar figure. You didn’t do the job for free, however you made the customer feel like they got more for their money and that’s how you create a loyal, return customer! Thank you, Steve

I love how you try to keep everything as original as possible. ❤I listened to how you were explaining about the extra stitches from a previous repair. Some folks will do anything and ruin your bag or shoes instead of admitting they don’t know how to properly repair an item(previous repairer). I know the owner will be happy she sent this bag to you for proper repairs

Great work Steve! We all miss things when not at eye level, but you make it right when you find it. That is what separates you from the novice crafter’s. I have found that people aren’t always shocked by the prices when they see my craftsmanship or that I am an ethical businessman and not “that” crafter. People get what they pay for, and that is a hard pill to swallow from time to time. Great insights into the sewing aspects and lining up specific areas or ways to make it all back to original design/product. You are a true craftsman and I appreciate you and what you do sir!

    Hi
Thanks for another interesting and informative video.
I have that same bag, the lining is fine, but the handles could really do with some enforsement, they feel like they're going to come off.
I've only used it once, bought it second hand very cheap because it was heavily used, but now I'm afraid to use it as I don't want to make it worse. Unfortunately, we don't have such skilled leathersmiths where I live. I may just try to re-sell it, or find the courage to unpick the lining near the handles and try to diy what you did and stitch the lining back.
Can't wait for the next bag restoration video. I hope it's a Dior bag, have'nt seen the inside of that one yet.

Doing what the customer asks is one thing, but going above and beyond because it should be done is craftsmanship. Side note: Will a walking foot/industrial machine allow me to replace a zipper on a pair of chaps? I had them done years ago, the shop put one side upside down. I don't need them, but I want them.
