This was still helpful to see the setup process! I think you’re one of the first showing this. I’m going to try to get one to work in my bedroom but…I’m skeptical.
Would be nice as I’m forgetting to put on my watch at night a lot. 😂

    1:04 Limited free"
Means its currenlly free version, it will expire later, and then Aqara will start charge people later. for this option,
first they need to hook people as much as they can.
I will put the FP2 to test in sleeping mode tonight, ( for the first time)
    and in couple days,
i will be back telling my experience to see if it shows sleep Data or not.

    Hi,
In the video you primarily use the Aqara app, but you also briefly show a parallel integration of the FP2 in HomeAssistant. How do you use the FP2 in HomeAssistant and the Aqara app in parallel?

Using the apple homekit integration, it reports everything to HA. Should automatically detect it if it's on the same network

For the same reason as you (sleep with my Apple Watch on), I do not have any interest in using the FP2 for sleep tracking. Your difficulties, nevertheless, concern me. I went in heavily on the FP2, getting 9 for Christmas. Hopefully the standard presence settings work.

First of all, I absolutely love the FP2 and this was simply a test. I am still not convinced that my sleeping environment is optimal for this setup as I am very limited to where I can place the sensor (and perhaps not fully committed, honestly) due to spouse approval, decor, etc.
I have a video in the works that focuses on how I am using my 4 FP2’s in my home and they work phenomenally in HomeKit and beyond!

@@Delyn that’s great to read and I look forward to seeing your broader FP2 video.

Goals (9 sensors) + same (Apple Watch sleep data is miles ahead). Here I was thinking I was fancy with my two sensors across one floor. Irregardless my zone detection in HASS works like butter. I can’t believe how much better mmWave vs PIR/Infared

It’s crazy how well these work for detection. I have an entire video about automating them coming in the next couple weeks!
