Aint it just, it was nuggets in there, so glad I didn't swim lol I think my surfing is getting better too, not so scared getting up on the green but i did keep forgetting your advice to paddle as opposed to rudder :/
Hi, sorry for the long rely... I go from 1080 to 4k, not the 3840 but the 4096 but I have to lower the bitrate from 50mbps down to 20mbps else the file size ends up far too big ( this video was 27gb, I got it down to 11gb at 20mbps) and the encoding time for this old lappy takes far too long. This 70min video took about 7.5hrs to encode, I reckon it would have been at least double that had I not lowered the bitrate. Imagine what it would be like if I filmed it in the max 100mbps but then I think that it saves it as h.265 as opposed h.264 and that would then mean having to 1st encode lower res proxy files just so this machine can handle it, then do the editing and then encode again when finished editing, I bet that would take this old i7 lappy about 2 days in just encoding alone, no joke lol. Had I film in 4K, same issue, it would mean having to encode proxy files 1st, again this would add many, many extra hours in encoding and thats before I can even start editing it. If I just save in 1080 and upload to YT, YT's compression makes a mess of it as you can see from the 1st 10 videos (noticeable in the sky) I uploaded, these were recorded in 1080 and uploaded as 1080 (1st 10 videos i did). Therefore, upscaling to 4k actually improves YT's 1080 quality, compare this 1080 video ( th-cam.com/video/egrR9gLNHiI/w-d-xo.html& ) with this video (in only 1080) and you will see the difference. Hope I didn't bore or confuse you lol
It’s getting Colder🤘!!
