I feel like one of the best mindsets that I have when it comes to money is the fact that I want to live a life I can afford by myself. I know it's not that easy, but I don't want to live my life depending on other people. Also living above your means is a big thing for a lot of people I know, it's crazy to see the amount of money they spend on drinking, clothing etc. I get stressed about buying anything since I'm always thinking about my numbers and asking myself "do I really need this". I'm trying to scale my monthly income to 5k netto per month

Not investing earlier...definitely a point I can resonate with...making up for lost time now though! It's never too late 😊

Goal setting, discipline, budgeting and financial literacy are critical skill sets that we all need to acquire. There was reason the govt introduced autoenrollment into work place pensions; the state pension may not be around by the time I retire and, given the pultry amount you receive, you definitely need to get your finances in order before you retire. Knowledge always appreciates with time, so the sooner you start learning, the more prepared you'll be.
Great video and the lighting is 👌

I'll turn 40 this year and I can agree with all Oliur's points. Take it seriously younger peeps or you'll learn the hard way.

Towards the end of my 20s, I was in a position to put aside approximately 25% of my earnings per month. This was only possible by paying myself first, becoming disciplined with my spending, and getting that cash into a savings account (or similar) on payday. Knowing my historical spending habits, this wouldn't have been possible if I waited until the month end to put it aside. I would add, at the time my earnings were below the national average.
If the money isn't there to spend, you won't spend it. It's much more comfortable to learn how to be disciplined in your spending if you've already got some put aside for emergencies, I find.
    Nice video, Oliur!

When I tell my friends if I win the lottery, I don't do anything crazy; I invest all of it. After the investment pays off, I will do whatever I like. They think I am crazy or cheap.

If you invest now the money have more time to grow and you will get more money due to compounding interest.
You just have to get your parents to open an account for you

I'm very fortunate I got into investing an index funds in my early 20s, and got into the habit of investing a fair share of my income through a savings plan. This is probably one of the very few things in life which you literally can't catch up on if you are not starting early.

Been binging a lot of these vids you’ve put up lately and it’s been really inspiring to wanting to change my life and my financial situation. I have a wife and little girl that depend on me for everything, and although we are doing alright, I want us to have so much more. Definitely going to start researching different avenues of my work to make more money and save/invest more!
