He’s a BUDS grad just like his brother. Back then BUDS graduates were assigned either SEAL or UDT teams randomly. He was sent to UDT teams. In Vietnam UDTs were assigned to barges and did various missions. Some saw a lot of combat. The SEALS who graduated from same BUDs 6 month course worked inland more inserting around the Delta in combat operations. Both SEALS and UDT were sent to MAC V SOG. Some spent time in UDT and SEAL teams. If you want to nitpick you are correct Mr Ventura was not in SEAL teams. He is a full on BUDS graduate which means he is one tough motherfucker a highly skilled waterborne Commando and closed circuit diving machine and could have been assigned to SEAL teams instead of UDTs and kicked ass as a SEAL they all came from same ball busting school then. I'm not overly fond of Ventura, but Hogan is the last person who should be calling anyone out as a liar and a Jerk. To his credit, Ventura saw that wrestlers were at the mercy of the promoters in the various territories back in the day, and he only saw it getting worse as those same territories were getting swallowed up by the then WWF to the point that many of the jobber/lower card Wrestlers were living in thier cars, getting hurt with no health insurance, and going to the grave poor in spite of a lifetime of service, and he wanted to do something about it, and for that no one can fault him. Hogan according to Greg Gane skipped out on Greg's father Verne when Hogan was still under Contract with the AWA because Vince McMahon called and paid Hogan big money to skip out on his obligations to Verne when Vince decided he wanted to crush the AWA for good. When you combine that with his actions during his marriage and let's not forget how he handled the incidents involving his son, yeah, in terms of being a selfish, self centered, I got mine so screw you kind of guy, Hogan is always going to be the undisputed champion in that department.

He’s a BUDS grad just like his brother. Back then BUDS graduates were assigned either SEAL or UDT teams randomly. He was sent to UDT teams. In Vietnam UDTs were assigned to barges and did various missions. Some saw a lot of combat. The SEALS who graduated from same BUDs 6 month course worked inland more inserting around the Delta in combat operations. Both SEALS and UDT were sent to MAC V SOG. Some spent time in UDT and SEAL teams. If you want to nitpick you are correct Mr Ventura was not in SEAL teams. He is a full on BUDS graduate which means he is one tough motherfucker a highly skilled waterborne Commando and closed circuit diving machine and could have been assigned to SEAL teams instead of UDTs and kicked ass as a SEAL they all came from same ball busting school then. I spent years in Force Recon many years ago and old UDT guys were the same creatures as SEALs. Studs

I'm not overly fond of Ventura, but Hogan is the last person who should be calling anyone out as a liar and a Jerk. To his credit, Ventura saw that wrestlers were at the mercy of the promoters in the various territories back in the day, and he only saw it getting worse as those same territories were getting swallowed up by the then WWF to the point that many of the jobber/lower card Wrestlers were living in thier cars, getting hurt with no health insurance, and going to the grave poor in spite of a lifetime of service, and he wanted to do something about it, and for that no one can fault him.
Hogan according to Greg Gane skipped out on Greg's father Verne when Hogan was still under Contract with the AWA because Vince McMahon called and paid Hogan big money to skip out on his obligations to Verne when Vince decided he wanted to crush the AWA for good. When you combine that with his actions during his marriage and let's not forget how he handled the incidents involving his son, yeah, in terms of being a selfish, self centered, I got mine so screw you kind of guy, Hogan is always going to be the undisputed champion in that department.
