It's not just Randy. It's alot of Hulk's buds. You can't mix friends and business. Honky tonk, Brutus, Macho, even Jimmy Hart had falling outs with Hogan. Hogan helped out his Buds but at the end of the day took the best care of himself and sometimes that would cause people to be ungrateful.

Randy explained his concerns pretty clearly in this call.....an insensitive joke is one thing, until its regarding a matter someone is getting litigated over. Savage had every right to check Hogan for doing that.

Loved Macho as a kid and what he done in that ring speaks for itself. But the dude had serious trust issues and paranoia it seems. I remember watching an interview with gorgeous george and she said when her and Randy went out to a restaurant she literally couldn't even order her own dinner if the server was a male. If it was a female she was allowed to. And he would spy on her with cameras and etc when they weren't together. That would put a lot of stress on any relationship, and it sounds like he was paranoid in any relationship he had with woman or even guys he was friends with.

Rather than let it go Hawk chose to try suing Savage over that part.

Randy tried to warn him about Hogan. I also remember hearing Randy say to Bubba that Hogan will use for all he can and when he’s done with you he will drop you. Hogan is for Hogan and he showed his true colors when he said he’d give Brent a cut of the lawsuit with Post and them using the name Terry Boulder which was a name that Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan and then Hogan screwed him out of it. After Brent spent his own time doing a lot of the leg work for Hogan. That and Hogan was always trying to use Bubba to promote his stuff. I know Bubba did that as well.

This had to be before Hawk died in 2003 and the infamous TNA argument in 2004/05. Honestly, Bubba getting all defensive and putting the blame on Macho tells me how untrustworthy Bubba was. Paranoid or not, Savage apparently had a lawsuit pending and it was clear Bubba had to shame blame Macho to cover up a joke. Bubba had to make Savage look like the bad guy. What Savage did to Hawk was wrong, especially if he knew he’d be there beforehand and the receipt was premeditated.

I'm the biggest Savage fan you'll ever meet but he did a horrible job explaining what was upsetting him so it's hard to defend him here. His bitterness towards Hogan is warranted though based on the fact he never jobbed to him in the middle of the ring cleanly. Savage put him over so many times that I lost count. Hard to defend Hogan based on that fact. Especially since he established pattern of not putting other wrestlers over.
