The Accord Euro R is one of the most underrated 4 door Saloons / Sedans to come out of Japan and will soon be worth a lot more as their popularity grows.
This week I had the pleasure of driving a well sorted CL7 Euro R.
This sounds EPIC.........VTEC YO!!!

Got the Blue CL7 Euro R 06, imported straight from Japan. Just got her back on the road after 8 months down, love it so much don’t want to let her go.
I do like the CL7 and DC5 in blue 👌
CL7 is a very good, reliable, practical, quick all round car 🚗
The euro r comes stock with a K20a2? Vs the US version getting the K24a2
I really love the taillights of this model

Great all round cars. Lowered, spacers and intake makes them look and feel better to drive!
I'm surprised they haven't actually gone up massively in price yet....
i own one in super super Super stock form which is very rare to find now a days and even in stock form its really a pleasure everytime you take her out for a spin
A lot have been modified, and it's not a bad thing to be fair. They are very good in oem form but the mods to open them up a but especially a intake 👌

@rizwan.hakeem wait for the right modifications to pop up for sale. Injen intake is good but exhaust just depends on how much noise you want 👍

@@PerformanceLifestyles I think the one the importer has found is stock and in silver duco like the one you reviewed (which I like). If I bought it I would do coilovers, full exhaust, intake and K-Tuner to lover the VTEC point to 4500rpm.

Euro means suspension setting customized more sporty using by Euro spec version ACCORD （Maybe similar as TYPE S） and R means “K20A R spec”engine.
Euro “R” font is different between TYPE “R”😋

I got one with a few mods great 18:27 car. Skunk 2 Exaust , Plm Headers, Injen Intake and an Action clutch.

@@PerformanceLifestylesI also have one in pearl white! Few weeks ago installed k&n airfilter and gotta say the vtec is loud and fun as hell! Also have 3" stainless exhaust on the way. Thinking of getting the plm headers myself too!

A induction kit really emphasises that VTEC crossover to a perfect level.
Definitely keep hold of it as I believe they will increase in value 💯 🔥

Producing such a briliant car only with right-hand drive was a strategic mistake!
I see your point but with it being a JDM only car there was no need.

Why these are better than the FN2, EP3 and Integra DC5 Type R is the Euro R Accord has fully independent suspension all round, not Mc Pherson Struts, which is a lot better for tuning purposes, take care.
Better than FN2 for sure with its rear torsion beam but I wouldn't say better than dc5/ep3.. they have a big weight advantage
Are we forgetting that the Fn2 has a computer?

Hey guys wondering how big are the spacers on the car as I have a cl7 euroR myself
I think they were 20mm.
Had several type r's in my life and recently with family coming, need a 5 door. I can't afford a 5 door type r (the new ones with turbo isn't may favourite and the fd2 is too expensive!) So bought a BMW 330i e90 but now I'm tempted to look for this.. but nothing available haha
The FD2 is 1 of the best 4 door N/A cars available and the CL7 is not far behind it. Great cars that rev to a million RPM and reliable as ever. Where abouts are you based m

Not long to go now! I believe it's just things like the bonnet, grilles and subtle interior changes. I would go for either as both are a great all round car 👌👍

@@PerformanceLifestyles I'm looking for preferably a white CL7 EuroR with cruise control. Don't really care about the radio unit as I'll keep it stock anyways so I'm cool with either, I'll just be using a bluetooth transmitter. Not sure about the options that were available with the car, still actively doing research on that. I was trying to get my hands on a sales brochure but I couldn't find one yet, not of the CL7 anyways. I've found one for the CL1 EuroR but that doesn't help
@skythundersky1544 I don't think cruise control was available on the CL7 Euro R (I stand to be corrected though).
The white is a pearl white and really does look well in the flesh. Get the basic mods done whenever you buy one, wheels, spacers and at least a intake....sounds epic 🔥

Never really tested that personally but I can't imagine them being quicker than 18/19 secs in standard form

The CL7 Euro R only comes in a manual.
Personally the manual is the better car in general from this era!

i noticed your engine light didnt light up on the dash, i viewed another that was the same. is this a common fault on the cluster ? or has jt been disabled / mapped ?
Good spot, not too sure but this CL7 was awesome 👌 Drove beautifully so I can assume it was something to do with the mapping 🤔
I have a Corolla s 2013 5 speed…if I’d like to lower how would I know what size spacers to use ?
Measure the difference between the arch lip and the face of the wheel and that should give you a rough idea on what size spacers 👍
Don't forget the extended wheel bolts too

Intake and exhaust. Ideally go for used items and save yourself some money. Then get it lowered and wheel spacers. Great cars, you'll love it

Yes I believe so but the CL7 has a balance shaft and a RBC Inlet manifold.
Only thing missing is RWD
Would make it a bit more interesting!

jdm Acura TL Type S basically
The Type S is a K24 but the Euro R is a K20 and has LSD. I stand to be corrected though 🤣
TL is a different car, this is the same chassis as TSX Gen 1, but with JDM running gear.
If it was then it wouldn't be called an Euro R innit?
That's literally just a tsx that Honda badged . They just badged and called it a Honda accord euroR. When it's a acura tsx.
I'm sure the TSX had the K24 where as the Euro R has the K20A, recaros, LSD etc.
Don’t compare your tsx with EuroR, it’s hella big difference and euro R’s are fasters
