As someone with two armies(Salamanders and Tau) and I got some advice. 1- even if you have a lot of one army and you lose interest, don't be afraid to scratch that army and build something else. You can always come back to that army later or sell it off it you really dislike it. 2- Don't let anyone tell you that you can't collect an army....rule of cool🤙 3-Paint schemes don't matter, the only exception to this is if your playing Blood Angels for example but they are painted as Imperial Fists, that could be confusing. Although it's not illegal or against most rules. 4-Collect units YOU want, this is something I struggled with. I wanted the best for my salamanders but ended up just getting a bunch of random units in my army. 5-Rules change ALL the time so don't worry about getting the best units because tomorrow they could be the worse.(look at LOV for example, everyone got the bundle box but returned it once the new rule changes came out.) Bottom line is to get what you want, do what you want, and have Fun. I would also recommend Kill Team for anyone debating on multiple armies, although Kill Team isn't 40k you can kind of see how they play in 40k by playing Kill Team. Lastly, don't jump right into it and feel as if you need everything all at once, as stated in the video, start small.
I Quit in 5-6th edition because life. and recently came back. Was looking at salamanders, tau,or the ole blueberries 😂. But I'm also a old tattoo artist with too much time on his hands now and figured Warhammer is right up my alley why not give it another go. Let's hope my little brother doesn't steal this army. JK I know where you live a-a-ron.
I started off by being a basic blue boy Ultramarine. But growing up in a Christian household influenced me to start collecting the Sisters of Battle. I really like their catholic esthetic, plus they have a PIPE ORGAN MISSILE LAUNCHER!
I like this channel so much already that I subscribed with 2 different accounts. One for when I am sneaking around at work to watch, and another on my own personal computer (bob the builder). Great advice - looks and what you want to do with your army. Thats why I settled with Necrons and Iron Hands.
@@morewarhammer I personally like to watch Battlereports but they are probably very much work to film. Maybe short Videos introducing each of the factions?
@@morewarhammer very punchy video bud like it! Maybe a quick break down of the various factions their lore and play style? Also have you got a discord set up? Great way for everyone to show of their armies and help other members out
Always wanted to play Space Wolves and if I ever start an Astartes army they will still be my first choice. That being said, I was TOTALLY won over by DA ORKS. They are goofy, hard rockin, war lovin and awesome. And once you dive down the rabbit hole that is Ork lore it just gets exponentially better.
Still in the collecting phase, after having gotten a few cool ones just for painting purposes. Decided on Salamanders - who doesn't love fire? We'll see how it goes. Looking to find a Land Raider Redeemer, but those seem to be super-scarce at the moment. Eh, it can wait.
Nice concise vid! I'm starting to get into 40k after the PowerWash Simulator DLC got into my brain (despite my best efforts otherwise lol) and here we are. Slowly (but quickly) building a Sisters army and seeing where that takes me. >:D
I’m new to Warhammer 40k what got me interested is the plague marines now I’ve been looking around a lot and I haven’t seen a nurgle inspired Titan. I’ve been debating if I wanna do one. But it seems like a big project for it being my first time so I don’t know what paints I would need. What glue been trying to do research but there’s so many different things that people recommend that I don’t know what to use. And I’m also kind of limited on a budget.
It’s a great idea. I would get your toes wet with just the standard models now. Once you get into it you will have a much better idea of how to go about making a titan.
Not at the moment in the official rules but there is absolutely nothing stopping you from doing it. I find this game plays the most enjoyably when you make some homebrew rules.
Ooo hello new video 😍. I've narrowed down to 4 armies. Ultras. Black Templars. Tyranids. Tau. I don't think it's healthy for my wallet to build all 4 😂.

I understand less and less the more I research. Is the boss on the ork boyz part of the unit? Is he a character? Arent characters supposed to be their own units? I can barely start planning because I understand nothing.
Played 40k back in the 90's then drifted away from it. Then a few weeks ago I found my old models (Ultramarines & Chaos Marines). Considering getting back into it but not sure if I need another expensive hobby beyond sim racing 😂
@@morewarhammer this time round about 6 months ha 😂.. I did the unthinkable and sold all my old 2\3rd edition stuff when I got a girlfriend and was told my parents wanted to turn my room into an office...😂

Pipe organ missile launcher!!! They are one of the best looking armies I have ever seen. My friend has them and I can’t wait to play him.
The thumbnail on this is top tier.
😂 thank you. As close as I will get to being a Custodes.
A fellow Northern Irish Warhammer 40k enthusiast nice!

Love how you keep those videos short and sweet 👏

It is indeed. I have just started but I am enjoying it a lot.
Anyone knows the name of the art used for #2 army composition?

I think I just goggled 40K art work. I hope you can find it.

Its "warhammer 40k: dawn of war 3 - eldar key art" on art station

Black Templars - possibly the most xenophobic chapter around as far as I'm aware....
