buying a 2021 Tundra before the gong show >2022 re-design began was one of the best financial and peace of mind decisions I've made. Hope it's the last truck I buy. Wish the MotivX funnel had a wire screen in it, just in case, but other than that a great thing to have. Thanks for the great videos.
@@gjm3525 thanks so much man! Glad you got the last V8’s! A screen would be a good idea, but I guess none of my funnels have screens either so just have to be careful!
My original plastic housing has 247k miles haha don’t understand why people want to switch or feel the need to switch . If you’re careful and don’t over tightens things you’ll never have an issue
@@tundras4ever552 yeah I hear you! I switched on my wife’s Rav 4 because the plastic tabs broke off. That was before i had the better Motiv X filter tool, so that helps! I probably didn’t need to but since I do have it done by a shop sometimes and they cranked down so hard this past time I got nervous about it failing and then being SOL!
@ I can’t argue with that, as someone who’s worked in a Toyota shop for a few years yea some lube techs and even mainline techs have a tendency to overtight things and sometimes unfortunately break a few things haha
Great upgrade Austin. That was my first upgrade I did when I bought my 2020 Tundra 👍🏼
Smart man! Thanks for commenting Mikey!
I've got a Ford 150 Fx4. Thanks for this video. I was thinking of getting a new Tundra. I'm double thinking it watching this.
Awesome Man! Let me know if you get the tundra that’d be sweet!

Interesting. Watching @thecarcarenut he says not to touch those pickup tubes and get another housing if those come out.

@ I mean if I was working on someone else’s vehicle I’d probably tighten a little tighter just to make sure it didn’t Leak! Lol
