Dude! Those Beetles are the worst.. they've wiped out the spruce trees in Alaska.. my neighbor even found them on her Japanese Tree 2 summers ago.. it's crazy how they only like specific things. Left everybody else's stuff alone.

Thanks I just got a leveling kit on my 14 and I just got new shocks and struts. Now the front sets up a little higher which I'm not a fan of so I might need to do this..👍

I have a flex fuel 2018 Tunda and only use top tier 87 gas from the same Sinclair's when filling up. I've had the same issue with hard starts on cold days. I bought the XTOOL D7 OBD2 reader for $325 on Amazon and reset the fuel alcohol density myself. Now my truck starts right up and I've been getting 1.5 mpg better gas mileage since. Food for thought - an OBD2 reader at $325 to reset fuel alcohol density is cheaper and more convenient than going to the stealership. Keep up the great vids man 👍👊💪

I had the same cold start issues on my 2018 Tundra. I bought an OBD2 scanner and reset the alcohol fuel density level. Now it runs better than it has in years! Better had mileage and no hard starts!

Thanks for the info, Canada doesn't have the flex fuel feature option like the US. There have been no issues like yours. The tundra never hesitated during a cold start at -30c.

I hate when they ask what fuel you use on a vehicle that can use regular. I understand if it was a vehicle made to only use premium but in this case it’s not. They’re just asking to find something to blame it on.

Sorry to hear that Austin. They should have covered it under warranty because it’s been an ongoing problem. You’re in lemon law territory. Not saying your truck is bad but you can use that as leverage. I know your original warranty expired.

Great video, I've had the same issue with my Tundra...it always happens in the winter when the truck is setting in the cold when we travel for Christmas and fuel up at Dillons in Western Kansas. If I run a tank of pure gas it goes away. I bought a fuel pump last year but haven't installed it as the issue corrected itself after running straight gas. I do appreciate the time to do these updates...very helpful!

I don't know why they charge you for something that should have been done the second time you changed your fuel pump. If they knew the pump wasn't bad they shouldn't have charged you since it had to be flashed or adjusted which should have been done the second time. Don't you think?

I'm trying to replace the OEM front mud guard on a used 2021 Tundra that the previous owner took off. Do you remember if all the screws you removed were the same length?

The comparable Bakflip cover to the Armor flex is the MX4 which has a 5 year warranty as well. The biggest difference is the armor flex has Line X coating on the outside for better scratch and dent resistance. (The Ultra flex is the same cover without the Line X) Apparently the new version of the MX4 has an improved outer coating as well but its not Line X. The MX4 is has 4 panels so when its folded up all the way it doesn't cover the 3rd taillight(which is illegal in many areas) or the entire rear window, and if you are only folding one or two panels its lighter to open but it also has one more joint/seal to potentially leak. They are both excellent covers and very similar. The Armor flex is about $100 more than the MX4 and the Ultra flex is about $100 less than the MX4. Also look at the Extang endure ALX it has very strong/dent resisstent panels and has a much better latch system (a rotary knob vs the crappy wire pull on the Bak and Armor flex) which is both easier to use and more secure. Its about $100 more than the Armor flex so starting to get pretty pricey.

Dude thank you for posting this! I have a 2014 Tundra Platinum and have 35” tires with a 6” lift. My MPG was horrendous after the upgrades and my speedometer was roughly 5-8 mph off (saying I was going slower than I really was!) heard about this upgrade that helped with both and shift points in the transmission. Ordered it from Rough Country and found your installation video through Google! Thank you for this simple walk through install video - made my install happen within 30 mins and I now subscribed to your channel! Looking forward to more of your videos! Thank you again man! Do you have a video of information on the hand controls. Everything works except the voice control. I was told I need to attach the Toyota microphone ... so you know if the Roadanvi has a plug in spot for that

The Instructions must be as bad as you say because others here have a gap between the step and bumper so others may have ignored the instructions. 🤣 You also screwed up when you didn't have your dad do it. 😇 I am of course just kidding as I enjoyed your video and the stress that you unfortunately went through.
