This is a LOTAD (Low-Optimization Tool Assisted Demonstration) showcasing a brand new any% route for the PAL version of Luigi's Mansion. Being a LOTAD, this run is not optimized to the level you would expect from a TAS and clearly wastes (minimal) time in several instances throughout the run.
This movie is an improvement of 1:35 over the previous version of this route, which you can find here ( • Luigi's Mansion PAL an... ).
In addition to the new techniques described in the previous video, this run takes advantage of a niche skew technique, involving obtaining a skew by getting 'airtime' (ie walking off an object) and then taking damage from something that does not give you knockback (like the flying fish in Courtyard). Retaining a skew into the bottom of the well allows us to simply walk to the Altar lookout statue, bypass the cutscene trigger that normally plays due to our extremely distorted hitbox, and clip through with the Gameboy Horror to face King Boo under a minute after stepping into the Area 1 hallway for the first time, collecting nothing but two keys, as well as King Boo's crown and portrait.
As of the upload date, this route is still only possible on PAL, only because we do not yet have a way to clip into the Area 2 hallway early without need for the mice that spawn in the kitchen exclusively in the PAL hidden mansion. It's only a matter of time, though :^)

Is this realistically possible in human speedruns?
no one is even close to being consistent enough at mouse skews to do this route in a way that saves any time at all over the regular any% OoB strat using the Area 1 key chest after Chauncey (you have about 2 minutes to work with), and that's to say nothing of the final skew in the well, which is even more precise than all the others (its also really easy to lose that skew by touching any of the small pebbles on the ground there on the way to Altar). Additionally, one would have to hit every skew first try and take no extra damage before king boo, as obtaining skews becomes impossible once Luigi enters his low-health animation (
