Just realized what Nintendo implied during the final boss fight. Bowser's eyes are red in this(Normally pure black), the body slumps and the head turns white when removed....it's not actually a fake bowser at all. King Boo is literally possessing Bowser's undead body. Which makes the game like fifty notches darker than what was already a pretty dark Mariio game.

Idk why, but there is just this atmosphere of creepniness and anxiety to this game that the other just seem to lack, whether its just the dark lighting, the eerie glow of the ghost, the character design, the silence. Like playing this game at night made me scared to walk without all lights on.
I was actually disappointed that Luigi's Mansion 3 felt very cartoony. I'm was also surprised no one was mentioning that and so, I thought perhaps I was wrong. I liked the first one a lot for it's portrait ghosts, the music and I liked the fact they kept the mansion concept. The new one (while I don't mind it's a hotel), went away from that by introducing a desert and sea level. Possibly of how the ghost ended up dying in the mansion Orville and Henry: The kids were playing hide and go seek with their parents, but their hiding spots were so good that the boys never left their hiding spot and died. This caused Neville and Lydia get mad at each other that caused them to separate into different bedrooms including Chauncey. Neville: After reading a book, Neville went to put away the book but tipped the bookshelf over himself by accident and died. Lydia: Since Chauncey was spoiled, she was taking care of him but now couldn’t handle it anymore. Chauncey: Nobody took care of him after Lydia passed away The Whirlindas: After leaving Sue (I’m assuming that’s their daughter) the couple were dancing at the party until something caused their death at the party (probably dancing to literal death) Shivers: Fire.... fire is bad (probably died by catching on fire) Melody Pianissima: Dedicated musician that made good songs but couldn’t get people to do the songs with her so she choose the afterlife to play all the instruments to her self. Mr. Lugg: Diabetes or ate too much Bogmire: Graverobber or grave digger that accidentally fell into the grave site and nobody realized he was there and died by dehydration and starvation. Buff Atlas: The weights crushed him by accident by doing a dead weight lifted Nana: Passed away of old age while nitting Miss petunia: Accidentally slipped and hit her head on the bath tub then later drowned or head trauma. Slim Bankshot: billiards accident (probably as the name implies doing a trick shot but ended up horrible) Madame Clairvoya: somebody found out she wasn’t a real fortune teller but a crook and paid the price (then become a real fortune teller) Boolossus: SKIP Uncle Grimmy: His bio on the fan site of this game is already really creepy to begin with but more than likely old age Clockwork soldiers: Actual soldiers doing a toy soldier play but their guns weren’t loaded with bootle caps and accidentally shot each other Sue Pea: After her parents left her so they can dance (again assuming it’s the dancing couple’s daughter) she promises to go to bed without wetting the bed and she does so, but it only cost her life. Probably accidentally cutting off her air way somehow when trying to nap Jarvis: Vase collector but does a FNAF stuffing to himself into the jar. Sir Weston: He was so worried about catching the mansion on fire he froze his room thus frozen the door and couldn’t escape. Last and finally Vicent Van Gore: Trying to beat Bob Ross and worked until he died. That or he slipped on paint that caused head trauma and or something crushed him in the middle of his masterpiece.
Coming up with ways of how Jarvis and Weston died was tedious because their rooms and their dialogue wasn’t matching up well. Jarvis mentions stuffing Luigi into the vase and I would imagine that’s how Jarvis died. Sir Weston was harder to come up with because his area makes no logical sense of how the room was frozen in the first place especially wearing mountain gear in a mansion.
I think Bogmire deserves a much more scary backstory because he looks like he was a demonic being hired by King Boo to be the dark entity that haunts the Graveyard
Man,this game was most of my childhood!!!I loved this game ever since i first heard about it,because Luigi had a chance to shine in his own game!!!(Please Play Shantae And the Pirate's Curse!!!)
They can, the portraits are not permanent seals, King Boo escaped because he was sold out in a garage sale and was left out of the lab by consequence, combined with the fact E. Gadd was studying the effects of the Dark Moon in ghosts, so maybe he was actually looking for a way to either pacify or redeem the portrait ghosts and so he can release them without them acting out as territorial or just evil, he was also running out of space in the garage too.
15:23 does nobody else acknowledge the fact that Miss Petunia looks like an elegant young lady but when you pull back the curtain she's different? did anyone else see that?
I'm guessing that ghost has their own unique abilities other than causing poltergeist. The baby shrink anyone size, Sir Weston manipulates ice, Vincent brings his own paintings to life, Bogmire comes from the mansion and the despair of it, and Sue Pea turned her room upside down
When I was kid, I remember playing this game a lot at night and I recall almost shitting myself when I saw Uncle Grimmly. I don't know why, but the first time I saw him and him being quiet besides him making a noise when you don't look at him, was unsettling for me.
Growing up i had nightmares about Mr. Luggs. I was SO scared of him because of the sound he makes when he eats. Legit had at least 10 unnerving nightmares about the guy. Haven’t had any for many years, but probably cause i’m not scared of him anymore
The ghosts that scare me the most are Biff Atlas (because of his whirling muscular arms which can take you TWENTY HP) and Sir Weston (which is insanely hard between the stalagmite waves, the slippery floor and the falling stalactites which can also deal 20 HP damage).
I don’t think he was ever alive. His description calls him a “manifestation of the mansion’s fear and despair, and I like to think that’s literal. He’s not a deceased spirit, but an embodiment of anger and despair.
I remember my older sister playing this game a long time ago when we got our new house. Saw her beat Chauncey before. But sadly it was an old recording and it got deleted. Btw, this is actually a good time to talk about this, but, I'm excited for Luigi's Mansion 3 coming out next year and the Remake for Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS. And, also, isn't there a ghost that was cut out from the game that was a hunter or somethin? I feel like i remember reading that up somewhere. ALSO. 24:42 made me laugh cuz, as soon as Luigi saw a bunch of ghost in front of him, he just left the room like NOPE.

Man, I can't wait for this game to come out on the 3DS!
Here what I think about them:
Neville- Reading Spirit
Lydia- Beauty Spirit
Chauncey- Newborn Spirit
The Floating Whirlindas- Dancing Spirits
Shivers- Moving Spirit
Melody Pianissima- Musical Spirit
Mr. Luggs- Hungry Spirit
Spooky- Canine Spirit
Bogmire- Darkness Spirit
Biff Atlas- Muscular Spirit
Nana- Knitting Spirit
Miss Petunia- Shower Spirit
Henry & Orville- Double Spirits
Slim Bankshot- Pool Table Spirit
Madame Clairvoya- Mystical Spirit
Boolossus- Gigantic Spirit
Uncle Grimmly- Lonely Spirit
Clockwork Soldiers- Wind-Up Spirits
Sue Pea- Sleepy Spirit
Jarvis- Vase Spirit
Sir Weston- Freezing Spirit
Vincent Van Gore- Painting Spirit
Bowser- Puppet Spirit & King Boo- Royal Spirit
That took time, this is one of my favorite games!
This is my favorite game of all time
I really miss all those guys.
Melody didn’t seem to be a bad ghost at all. She just wanted to play the piano
like Director Morty from Luigi’s Mansion 3, he just wants to make his movie
Most likely Sensitive feelings and or Huge Ego involving Musical instruments
Bogmire's theme is so cool!
Man,this game was most of my childhood!!!I loved this game ever since i first heard about it,because Luigi had a chance to shine in his own game!!!(Please Play Shantae And the Pirate's
Curse!!!)
I really hope that Luigi's Mansion 4 will be as good and as dark as the first one.
También yo y que los fantasmas del primero sean jefes con los de luigi's mansion 2 y 3
The third game is pretty charming but if it tried to be scary it would be amazing
My favourite is Miss Petunia!
P.S. Am I the only one who wants to see the portrait ghosts return as allies? Maybe in Luigi's Mansion 3?
Knight of Arkronia yeah well your not alone I’m with you on that!
Liliana Via On Miss Petunia being your favourite, or wanting the portrait ghosts as allies?
Knight of Arkronia the ghost being allies but my favorite well two favorites are Slim Bankshot and Spooky
Liliana Via Ah. 👍
They can, the portraits are not permanent seals, King Boo escaped because he was sold out in a garage sale and was left out of the lab by consequence, combined with the fact E. Gadd was studying the effects of the Dark Moon in ghosts, so maybe he was actually looking for a way to either pacify or redeem the portrait ghosts and so he can release them without them acting out as territorial or just evil, he was also running out of space in the garage too.

does nobody else acknowledge the fact that Miss Petunia looks like an elegant young lady but when you pull back the curtain she's different? did anyone else see that?
I did
How come the baby is stonger than it's parents. His boss fight is more challenging than theirs.
Maybe because he is a force to be reckoned with.
I'm guessing that ghost has their own unique abilities other than causing poltergeist. The baby shrink anyone size, Sir Weston manipulates ice, Vincent brings his own paintings to life, Bogmire comes from the mansion and the despair of it, and Sue Pea turned her room upside down
I feel bad for the dog ghost sounds.. ;-;
Owl Owly same here
i dont. he litteraly tried to bite luigis leg off
@@itscamilo1 He is a guard dog... The dog just did his job.
And I feel bad for Chauncey (the baby boss)
38:30 I love Luigi's laugh 🥲😭😂
Crying of happiness and laughing for Mario 😂😭
His screams will never not be funny😂
@@leociresi4292 Fr 🥲
It honestly looks like he lost his mind in the mansion and is having a breakdown
When I was kid, I remember playing this game a lot at night and I recall almost shitting myself when I saw Uncle Grimmly. I don't know why, but the first time I saw him and him being quiet besides him making a noise when you don't look at him, was unsettling for me.
I can't tell the difference between Henry and Orville.
Also, fun fact: This game was banned in over 100 countries because it was too sp00py
Henry has a purple shirt and Henry wears a red one.
I mean Orville
Dang, that's means almost all countries..though that's a pretty stupid reason to ban a game, I would love to play it tho
Nope
Nope
Melody is my favorite Ghost in this Luigi's Mansion game.
My favorite part started at 0:00 and ended at 39:10
Nice
Neville scared the shit out of me as a kid, had nightmares about the dude and everything
Growing up i had nightmares about Mr. Luggs. I was SO scared of him because of the sound he makes when he eats. Legit had at least 10 unnerving nightmares about the guy. Haven’t had any for many years, but probably cause i’m not scared of him anymore
Ghost: Oh god! It’s Luigi!
*Luigi begins vacuuming ghost*
Luigi: oh yeah *grunts* oh yes yah
*grunts* oh yeah oh yeah O H Y E A H
Mango Man kinda hot not gonna lie
😂
Gotcha!
The ghosts that scare me the most are Biff Atlas (because of his whirling muscular arms which can take you TWENTY HP) and Sir Weston (which is insanely hard between the stalagmite waves, the slippery floor and the falling stalactites which can also deal 20 HP damage).
The portrait ghosts had personality, and you could even see what they did everyday on the gameboy horror. Much better ghost than in Luigis mansion 2
Elijah [Last Name] What's your favorite and least favorite portrait ghosts?
did anyone else get freaked out playing this when they were little? but now this possibly (in my opinion) the best game i have ever played
38:28 me laughing at my best friend when she does something stupid
I love the twins, they are just cute and I love them
The baby is cute too!
I love miss petunia she’s pretty hot to me at least

My favorite part will always be watching the ghosts getting turned back into paintings
Sad thing is the ghosts did nothing wrong. The Boos, howerer, were the cause of all this
Fer the luvva dirt, make that yappy dog be QUIET!
Spooky:”ARF ARF!”
this channel is great 😌

I'm deaf
XD XD XD I WAS WATCHING IT AS I READ THE TEXT XD XD XD
I always feel sorry for Lydia she sounds so sad.
This video was so nostalgic to watch.
Not everyday you see a video game character with your name
i had a crush on Melody when i was a kid. i had no idea why.
Maybe because she is beautiful just like your profile picture
EA -Sports true that
@Fred Anthony how come melody is so nice is she ment to be a boss
Im kinda embarrassed to admit this, but I did too.
Wait... h - headless Bowser... yeah bye sleep i hope you have a good 3-month vacation
I love this game can’t wait for the year of Luigi in 2023.
After 20 years, I still wonder to this day what the fuck bogmire looked like when he was alive.
I don’t think he was ever alive. His description calls him a “manifestation of the mansion’s fear and despair, and I like to think that’s literal. He’s not a deceased spirit, but an embodiment of anger and despair.
@@Arthus850Makes me think of Pennywise the clown for some reason
Is it just me or King Boo just murder a whole family just for his own sake
It’s Sad That These Ghost Were Never Released Like The Ghost in the Sequels it Would Be Cool to Come Across Them Again
They were always my favorite ghosts
I feel like out of all the times I’ve beaten this game I never truly figured out how to use the vacuum to the best of my ability..
I don't know why but the beat for the catching ghosts made my heart start racing
Yes. The hunter was supposed to be in the safari room, and he wanted to mount luigi's head on his wall.
Gamerkid 7965 oh yeah I saw an artist version of it online!

King Boo/Bowser background = HELL
Good old Nintendo logic
I just noticed that Chauncey T-poses at 1:37
They should add the backstory of these ghosts and how they turned to be.
Some of them do, The fat one ate himself, Sue pea died in her sleep, Chauncey was born a ghost, and that's all that I can name off the top of my head
5:05 i guess E Gadd watch's a lot of anime
Hi I love you vids keep up the good work! :)
Cool video with Luigu.
Luigi not luigu
Everyone: *minding their own business*
Luigi: *Hippity Hoppity your soul is now my property*
They gotta do something where they are alive again. That would be cool
