Few days ago in lockdown in milan i heard a sax playing this song in the street from far away.. i instantly changed direction and walked there... when i reached the man he already finished to play it... i asked to play it again... and it was overwhelming

Knopfler was a huge admirer of his playing and invited him into the lineup for this tour & showcased his amazing talents throughout the “On The Night” live sets. His playing complemented DS’s repertoire beautifully. Case in point….

That pedal Steel makes all the difference. The Saxophone is great and thankfully doesn't become 'Too Much', all Marks fills are perfect and then Paul Franklin on the Pedal Steel is complete perfection. Not just his solo but the shimmering notes he has in the Pre-chorus and the chorus fit this song like a glove. No instrument, not on the original release, has ever fitted a song better than a Pedal Steel and Your Latest Trick.

I saw Chris White play in Antwerp (Belgium), performing with the Brothers In Arms Band. I must say this was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. Goosebumps every time.

Brothers in Arms was one of the greatest albums in the last 50 years.
