I've just bought a 2006 4.2 V8 here in South Africa and taking delivery tomorrow! Found one with the air suspension, rear locker and full size spare...very difficult to find one with all three those options over here. The Goodyear tires I have found grip snow and sand better than BF Goodrich at smaller tire sizes since the tread design seems a smaller almost rain-tire like tread pattern. One of my friends put larger MT tires on his New 2019 BMW X5 and surprisingly it works GREAT even in super-snowy and west coast rainy British Columbia, Canada off-road which means almost ANY high-end luxury vehicle can be made 4x4 ready. Tommy. Dude. Duuuude. Duuuuuuuuuude! Duuuuude? Dude? Dude. Duuuuude! ....... Ha ha! Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddddde!
I want to see someone off road a Buick Enclave.
Can you guys test a more recent Touareg like 2015 or newer . Surely there is a VW dealership in town that has a newer Touareg let them borrow with free advertising
I would like to see how it would do in your tests. The newer Touaregs don't have the off road gadgets ( air ride and locking differential) as you know like yours.
Thanks
Andrew
As an owner of one, I’d love to see this! Preferably a TDI.
@@dipren443 Gas or Diesel doesn't really matter, I just want to see what it's capabilities off road.
@@dipren443 found on tflcar they tested a 2014 Touareg TDI
Any way we can see a cost of ownership on the Touareg up to this point?
Cheaper than the Porsche
I'm with Corly, Subaru Outbacks are 👌...and she's hot.
