I would like to suggest you to test nord 2 under cold conditions. Either independently or from Extreme heat to Extreme/Moderate cold. The reason I see for this test is because the 2 valid blasts have occured in cool or moderate to cool conditions.

This test makes sense only if the blast happened because of heat. In the Note 7's case, it happened because of pressure on the battery because of a small size mismatch. Temperatures shown here can shorten the life of the battery, but battery certainly won't explode because of that.

Is been delivering such a crazy and effective phones since many years. and all those fake assumptions was proven wrong. I know the blasting of phone is fake in the second case. This test is pointless. The temperature shown here won't cause any lithium ion battery to explode. There are many other reasons a battery might catch fire other than high temperature. If the news were true, the reason must be something else, not heat as they didn't put it in a fire or anything.
Actually this was a extremely crazy test that we cannot do in our daily life and there the phone doesn't blast. Except if you through the phone in fire 😂😂 it will balst all those blasts were fake and they are trying to potrait bad impression on OnePlus such that it is a massive big company 🤬😡
@@m.vishnu7313 What I said has nothing to do with if we'd do what he did or not. In the 2 cases of the phone catching fire, none of them are likely caused by heat. There are other reasons. Even if his tests are extreme in the eyes of a normal user, that temps won't cause the battery to explode. There are many other reasons like pressure on the battery, lack of quality control in the production of the battery etc. The note 7 scenario happened because of a small size mismatch of the battery. That led to pressure on the battery eventually shorting it in some units. That had nothing to do with heat.
I was waiting for this test specially for oneplus nord 2 and I am watching on oneplus nord 2. Now I am in relief that phone performed good in terms of heavy usage.

You should have added phone cover to 1 phone as in general people uses phone with cover which results in additional heat
I agree may be blasts issue may happen for few cases, and it can happen for many brands but still these kind of news scares users always... I appreciate your efforts to show the reality about exploding phones by performing stress test but I don't know why blasts are happening and if those are real cases then may probability of quality check on all phones differs or may be some defect to cause these issues.... GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
reasons of phone blast -
1.defective heat sensor
2.external force
1. heat sensor
if heat sensor is defective,the phone will not switch off on overheating.inside the battery there are +ve terminal sheet and -ve terminal sheet folded on each other and separated by some kind of insulator.due to overheating this insulator melts and this leads in contact between +ve and -ve sheets due to which there is internal current flow that leads in creating excessive heat and pressure.this heat keeps increasing as more and more sheets come in contact and due to tight packing of phones pressure keeps on building inside and finally it explodes.this happens very quick in sec or even in milliseconds.so if your phone start swelling and you are lucky to have that much time to notice it then just get far away from it.
2.external force
so when you apply external force on battery like stabbing it or dropping it several times,the insulator layer lying in between breaks or is destroyed,+ve and -ve sheets come in contact and same happens as in above case.most of companies give this reasons to save themself but i wanna ask those companies that if you have built such a phone battery that cant even resist external force to normal extent like bending then its your fault coz customer is not going to stab a knife on the back of their new phone or not going to jump on the phone's battery.oneplus basically is saying that these case are due to external force.basically they are questoning their own build quality.
manufacturing defect of battery
at the time of manufacturing of battery,there are chance that insulator is cracked at some point and due to drops or with usage the cracks got bigger enough for current to pass internally and again same happens.
