I’m approved to drive for Lyft in Las Vegas. Drivers always complaining about how over saturated this market is but most of them don’t even put in the hours to make money! I’m going to put in the maximum hours!!

It's great for a temporary thing. In the long term, with taxes, wear, deprecation, and gas, you're left with crumbs. Don't forget, at the end of it, you'll be left with a car that's not worth anything. The realistic math on it is to take the money you make and multiply it by .33, that is the money you are left with for you. Then take that and divide it by the hours you worked. If that is a number that makes you happy, then kool. I see why people do it, but I also see why people need payday loans. It's just predatory a company, praying on people's desperation or ignorance. I'm not being negative, I've been there, I've done it. I just go by the numbers because numbers don't lie. Thanks for the episode.
