This was the first time I made something from a fast food restaurant that ACTUALLY tasted exactly like the real thing. Didn't think it was possible for me to eat 9 biscuits on my own. Will be making again!!!

Hello. Here's a simple hint for incorporating the butter more easily: Freeze the stick and then use a cheese grater to grate it down. You'll end up with a huge pile of uniform butter shreds that are easily incorporated.

What a wonderful treat this was to make and eat. Mine probably didn’t turn out exactly like Popeyes but still delicious. I never knew or even thought to use yogurt.
Wish I could upload a photo to share with you but so glad to catch your video and ingredients for these biscuits.
    Thank you! 😅

Omg, these biscuits are absolutely delicious and so easy to make. I have made homemade biscuits previously but I think adding yogurt is a complete game changer. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
P.s. I added freeze dried strawberries to some of the batch and it was equally as good.

This is one the best foods to come out of the U.S.A! Agree with everything you said about Popeye's salty buttery biscuits. Sabrosas. Tomorrow morning will try your recipe for breakfast. Drooling already.

Great video:) Can I skip baking soda? I ran out of it and I'm left with just baking powder. I've tried other recipes that included just yogurt, self rising flour, and honey- they all turned out fine but lacked the full experience of buttermilk biscuits (although it tasted good) so I'm wondering if baking soda is the solution. Thx

This is no way Popeyes recipe. First of all, its not about the ingredients of the biscuits, its about the way they are baked. Popeyes bakes the biscuits in a pool of buttery liquid to saturate them in flavor.
