Thanks, and I'm pretty sure with minor adjustments to the frame inside it should fit but again I don't have a S10e on hand at the moment to verify but the fact that its not that large of a difference I am leaning toward it being a good chance. :)

My s10e has a broken corner in the back glass and I ordered a replacement back and for the heck of it ordered both a battery replacement and an S10 battery to try. My battery has been acting up and resetting the phone multiple times and trying to diagnose what the heck is draining my battery so fast has proven useless. So when I pop it open I will test wether the S10 battery can actually fit. I will try to upload a video it works. Thanks for this awesome video.

@@techpahpe9624 Well... I skipped the video cause I did it in a rush and got a bit frustrated. The battery connected just like this video and phone turns on and charges but I didn't expect so much difference in size. 3100 vs 3400 mah really did make the S10 bigger and unless someone knows what they're doing it could be modified somehow. But for only 300 mah more I don't think it wouldn't be worth it to damage the phone. I did put a new battery in and it's not too hard to do and my battery life improved lot.
So basically the s10 battery doesnt fit into the s10e because the dimensions are different and there is not enough room?

Thanks for this. I was thinking of trying the same thing. It would be fairly easy for me to make a new back to the phone and have the bigger battery in it that way, but it's probably reality to just put a new battery that fits. It's a shame they don't just make the phone 2 or 3mm thicker and have a way bigger battery in the first place..!
I was wondering if its possible to get the S10 and S10E battery connected and create a 3d printed back plate that has a thicker area to accomodate the extra battery, but thats probably way too hard
Unless you're about making a customized backplate (which probably will no longer make it IP68), you should replace your phone’s battery with what was meant for it... Also, you can always use an external battery in a pinch!

I'm thinking about replacing my battery recently my phone s10e won't even survive 3 hours do you have any batterys that would work if not better then the one that I got with the phone?
there are some batteries claiming higher capacity in aliexpress, do you think they will work? or is it necessary a battery to be big to carry more power?

Thanks, and yep. If you're able to get a back cover with the pre installed adhesive, then you should probably be good with the water resistance but if you cut out adhesive yourself then ya would not be the same.
My S10 plus needs a new4100mah battery but on Amazon I'm seeing s10plus replacement battery up to 5200mah so I'm confused as to how anything larger than 4100mah will fit into my S10 plus
Hey pkb, what about the s8 and the s9? Will they fit the s10 battery? Because they come with 3000 mAh batterys and the s10 with 3400, and it a small upgrade that i will welcome.
I change the s8's battery with the s9 one, it's a bit smaller but it fits and the conectors are the same. I'm curious about the s10.

the real future is having a huge battery capacity in a smaller battery cell... with everything thats goin on with the smartphones now, why cant they just figure that out... or did they already have... i feel bad for the s10+.... 🤣😥

You keep worrying about simple things in life... just buy a fukn phone that you like. If your going to be using your phone 24hrs a day 7 days a week, you need 4 sets of phone

Hi, no wont be the battery. It's possible if you have dropped your phone that there is a hairline crack in the corner that you can't really see that prevents the screen from working. Happens a lot. Or maybe the screen cable has become disconnected. But definitely not a battery issue if you here sound.

As long as the battery can fit in the compartment and the connector is the same, it should work. But not sure if there are larger capacity batteries made for this phone or not. Keep in mind larger capacity usually will mean larger size battery which most likely will not fit in the battery compartment.
Your videos are very good! Get me out of a doubt, I have a Samsung Galaxy s10+. If I buy a logic board with Snapdragon 855, 12GB of ram and 512GB of Rom, could I change the current one with Exynos 9820 Processor, 8GB of Ram and 128GB without problems? Would it work? 🤔
Thanks! Yes you should be able to swap boards. The only thing I can think of that may possibly be an issue is if the board software has different network bands and does not correlate with the antenna and network bands in your region but you can always flash the software from your region onto the replacement board. People usually put up tutorials on how to flash the software/firmware.

I would glue two 3300mah batteries back to back, remove the charging module from one of the batteries then solder both batteries in parallel. I did this mod about 8 months ago on my S7 and it works well. I made a custom back from epoxy to cover the extra battery. As a blue collar worker & the glass back?.. Didn't have much chance for survival lol

interesting, but not practical for most people who wouldn't go through all the trouble of doing that when they can purchase a battery pack or cover that slips over the phone or just go with a moto z phone that has 3000mAh attachable battery. Most people don't know how to solder or would spend time doing it. Regardless cool idea.

Hi, S10+ battery is 3 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches by 1/8 inches thick. S10 battery is 3 1/4 inches by 1 5/8 inches by 1/8 inches thick. The thickness might be slightly thicker than 1/8 inches but yep.

Hi, the connector would connect and work but the battery wont fit in the battery compartment. So essentially, no it wont work.

I'm desperate I need to upgrade my S10e battery help me, could it also be possible to replace the 4g chip by a 5g chip ? :-). Can you help us make the S10e battery better you are the closest we've ever get. The s10e is the last smallest Samsung phone that supports Samsung Dex it's only flaw is the battery and next year it's 4g chip.
Hi, the 4g chip would not be able to be swapped with a 5g since it requires expert soldering skills plus the software would not work with it. As for the battery, the only way would be is if you were able to fabricate an external enclosure to hold the larger battery on the outside while the cable is plugged to the board since there isn't enough room internally to hold a larger battery. But again it's not realistic since you can just use an external battery charging pack or something in that nature instead.

No, I don't think so. I'm sure the connector will be different and located in a different spot on the board on top of it probably not fitting.
I Know this was probably just for science but really is pointless...... if you really need more battery power just get battery case. I mean there is a possiblity of breaking the phone while trying to exchange the battery thats only what 500mah more or so about? really not worth all the hassle and with possible of dmging a $1000 phone for trying to add 1hr extra usage of the exchange battery. I would much rather buy 5000mah battery case if I was super heavy user going on trip or something.. just not practical for daily usage.
Yea was mainly a trial to see if its possible, but yes not practical.
I have s10e, battery is joke on exynos models.
That why I bought battery case, 4700mAh, now if I need it, for hiking biking trips, I have 7700mAh, AccuBattery app show me 3000mAh in s10e, not 3100, like samsung tell us.

You can install a battery that has the same connector but the problem always comes down to it not fitting inside the battery compartment in the phone. They don't leave extra room for you to fit larger batteries.

no shouldn't. But keep in might you would need to modify the frame to fit the battery in there etc if you decided to even change it. I don't think its worth it, I just did it to see if it would be possible.

probably not since the connector would probably be different and the software would also probably not read it.

It's always less than they say, one is the designed capacity and the other one the estimated... if you install a battery tracker app you'll know what I'm talking about!

Hi, as long as the battery fits in the compartment and the connector is the same size and location, it should work but usually larger battery capacity means larger battery which would not fit in the space in the frame.

@@ipeklofijs in this video i was using a s10+ battery on a s10, but the s10+ battery is much larger than the s10. However the s10 battery is not that much larger than s10e so it might be possible to fit it in the s10e
