    Ok, this is the answer to my problem. Want a power rack for the garage but need to still get the cars in. This is perfect!

      @@StevieRichardsFitness I'm looking at the newest promo videos and looks like the pulldown is now compatible? Is this your understanding as well? My local provider here in Canada can't tell me that for sure. It also is the best bang for buck solution for me as well. I am looking at other options but i like this nice tight fold so I can have a multi purpose space for things like my heavy bag and other free weights.

    I just purchased this rack and regret it, i do not recommend it. Despite having rubber flooring and over 200 lbs of weight on the weight horns, the rack slides quite significantly whenever I rack a barbell-even when done gently. Every few sets, I have to try to pull and reposition the rack back to its original location, which is frustrating and time-consuming. bolting this down is not an option for me.
    The integrated weight plate holders are also poorly designed. If you want to use the inside of the rack for squats or bench presses, you’ll need to remove all the stored weight first, as the plates on the barbell hit the stored plates. This makes the storage feature almost useless for practical training. oh wait you have to have plates on the rack storage horns to try to prevent it from moving in the first place... the rack is very light which doesnt help with it not moving around either. None of the TH-cam reviews I watched mentioned this, which feels misleading. Basically if you load up all of your weight plates ont the weight horns, you could use this as a half rack and think of the cage simply your weight storage, but you wont have any plates to use because u need them on the weight storage to weigh down your rack!!!... also using it as a half rack obviously kicks your workout footprint out significantly.
    dont believe the reviews on their own website, i posted a review and guess what, shocker-they dont display it.
    Dont bother calling Force USA to try to discuss different troubleshooting options, they wont answer your phone calls and only kick you to a message that says we are too busy please email us..try it. conversly give REP Fitness a call just to see how quickly you can talk to someone live. Tough lesson to me.... buy nice or buy twice!

    Would the MyRack Lat Pull Down Attachment fit onto the space saver folding rack? Curious as I have one and I'd love a lat pull-down / low row option.

      Unfortunately, it’s not compatible. The Folding MyRack is engineered differently.
      There was a rumors that the company was planning to make more attachments for the Folding MyRack but I haven’t seen any.

    fantastic video!!!! I'm really interested in ultimately buying this, but a couple of questions.... what would you say would be the minimum amount of weight you would need to put in order to hold the rack down (if you didn't want to or couldn't bolt it down)... aslo, not sure if you've used it or similar... but would a product like the PulleyPro or some sort of Pulley attachment work on this?

      Thanks for watching the video and commenting.
      When I loaded plates to weight it down, it felt like distributing the plates along 3-4 plate holders is the best solution. Obviously if you have bumpers it will fit less than with Olympic plates.
      Pulley attachments like the PulleyPro or surplus strength would work. You may need to detach when folding, but it should work just fine.

    Hi Stevie, does this rack need to be bolted down?

    • @StevieRichardsFitness
      @StevieRichardsFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can be bolted down if you choose to do that. However, I just added my plates to the myrack and that weighed it down very well.

    The proof of your confidence in this product is the fact that you're wearing absolutely no foot protection while folding it in and out, with weights on it. If you had any doubts about stability or build quality that's not a risk anyone would take.
