oh it could and it did get better the Barking Spiders version is amazing Mossy nailed it that night i get goosebumps every time i hear it and i've heard it a lot
i saw them in 1976 when they played my highschool ,they supported dragon.all i could remember was them playing cant get enough and midnight rambler, but i was hooked. saw them years later on the east tour.what great days.never to be repeated.i pity todays kids listening to their version of crap called music
did they do any more songs on this show? Daskarzine seems to be the only other. This is the Chisel I used to go and see in Adelaide in the late 70's .....anyone who saw them in this period will testify as to how mesmerising they were....we were all spellbound and totally in awe of Ian Moss...but what really came across was the chemistry on stage......all craftsmen at the peak of their powers......saw then recently in Hyde Park London and it almost brought tears to my eyes.....the members are older, Steve Prestwich gone.....all fellow aussies in the audience singing along to Khe Sanh.....I think that song will stay with me until the grave.....remember seeing them play it as a "new song" before they were famous......anyone else out there?
