Hehe yeah I think we all did some basic stuff at the beginning, but it took a bit of time to make sure we really "knew" the content to do something more detailed. Might still be an error or two in there, still a lot more to test with artifacts, but I feel like this one is much closer :p
I dont want to take away from Xenial because this video is awesome and super helpful but sharing info is also extremely important. Makeitabud made like a 2 hour video breaking down and explaining how powerful each stat is overall in comparison to the rest of the game it was super educational, only downside is he ranked stuff only looking into RTA so it is a bit more specific but like i said if you want to educate yourself its a very useful resource much like this one.
@@TheHollowBlade By all means, please feel free to share any information that can help viewers, OR me ;) I'm far from perfect and we all can always learn more! I also don't mind if you share links to other videos in comments, as long as it's done in a positive spirit. MakeItaBud just moved over to TH-cam and I always want to see all new creators succeed, I got a lot of great help when I started too! (and I still have a long way to go to to succeed myself hehe).
Not sure how true it is but they say the effect of Arena Towers and Monster Leader Skills are considered Effect as well. Example: Spd Leader + Totem. Even if you don't have Spd "buff" on your monster, they will still benefit from the Spd increase effect. Well If you click the gear Icon on lower left whenever you have run, the "Ally Buff" is there. Maybe it is true but haven't tested it yet.
This is interesting. I'd love to figure out a way to test it. Might be easiest to test the speed one, I think I might have to try that - maybe on Tuesday's stream I think I figured out how as I was typing this LOL
@@zaub1 Other content creators. I've been checking everyone as this is also a challenge for me. Knowing what artifact substats are good, and how they really work. Anyway it makes sense because towers and leader skills are considered effects as well outside of the monsters personal stats. It is more like "permanent buff" on your runs without any visible icon, and the actual buff you are seeing on the monsters are "temporary buffs" that are applied because of the skills. But both are considered buff right?
Com2Us needs to implement an artifact management system. It should be able to show the list of monsters that fit the artifact type/attribute and maybe 2 of its subs
100% agreed. I'm positive this will come, it's just a big coding project and I'm sure they rolled things out in stages. From a game development standpoint it makes sense not to do too much at once, as you run greater risk of bugs and such - plus you wind up with a long period of stagnation followed by one massive update. This way, we'll all be super excited when the manager comes out :p
LOL... I did say most ;) Did you catch my 2nd PC10 video? The first one I did like the day of the update, the second one was a much more accessible and stable team, but the silly TH-cam algo seems to keep recommending the first one and the 2nd one died out of the algo quickly.
I did yeah. I havent built a yen yet and orochi is still 5* so im defo a bit away from that. Not that i expected any less. All combos of what i have built just cant make it. I gotta pull my thumb out and work on them. After khali. And homie. My project list is as long as my arm and seems to have an ever changing priority order haha XD
Main point is that i can farm at least one of them so im not completely missing out. Im hoping to get some dmg reduction stats to ease the requirements for pc10 while i build the team(s) up
deathtrapsnap seems like a lotta people are in the same boat haha. I have 3 6 stars waiting to go but I’m not sure who’s gonna be most valuable!!!! AHHHH
I done some research and Steel Fortress is what players need to farm Main Artifacts you want are Def Attribute Damage Reduction to survive the new B12 Areas Just 10 minutes ago another artifact you want is Water Attack Artifact with Fire Damage increase for raising your world boss rank/Famion hell farmer And pray to rng you get good stuff
In addition to swarfarm topic. If You put an effort and create an account and know how to export your data from SW and import it into this database page, you can filter YOUR OWN units just like Xen showd in the video. It helps a lot with figuring out on which monster your artifact fit the best. No I have a question. What you guys think. I have an artifact with 5% recovery for hp type monster. If I put it on Jeanne, whos skill 1 heals, will it boost the heal? :D
No these long form videos are great. Especially when you break it up by topics. Don’t stop. Keep me coming. Can’t wait to hear what else is going on in your head.
Thanks James, I appreciate that! :) A lot of people get intimidated when they see 35min video hehe. I usually try to shoot for no more than 20-22 but artifacts is just such a big topic. Next video is a big upgrade for PC10 (faster times on lower rune quality) and after that a keep/sell rune guide I think.
Thanks DivineBerserker!! I really appreciate it :) I have an artifact cleanup video recorded too. I've fallen way behind on videos, but I do have 5 recorded I just need to get them edited hehe.
Hey here is another question... I got confused on the example with Pang. 5% of her lets say 10000 damage on fire would be 500 damage. But additional damage 5% based on her attack around 100 damage so there we are looking at her attack stat? base? or TOTAL attack power?
Additional damage % is (I believe) a percent of total damage, so your example is correct. Additional damage by stat is based on their total stats (I THINK, I'm not positive, it MAY be base stats, but I THINK it's total stats). This means if Pang has 2000 attack and 10% additional damage from atk, it's +200 damage. But it's PER HIT, and is basically "ignore defense" damage since it is flat damage and cannot be reduced. SO do the same example for Stella or Shi Hou with 7/6 hits, and that adds up a lot.
Thanks a lot for the video!! Finally I can get an idea on how to use the artifacts. Btw, I heard you said something about using an optimizer besides swarfarm. Is it also a web?
Heya Oscar, this video will explain how to install the optimizer: th-cam.com/video/2Nf--UbGLI8/w-d-xo.html And this playlist has my "how to use it" videos :) th-cam.com/play/PLIqdYchk006Rkp-NM09Yy3aQA09HDqop6.html
No, only the person with the arti sub benefits. So if Savannah buffs team speed and galleon has spd buff +15%, he gets 34.5% speed buff (15% of the buff) while Savannah gets 30%. Or vice versa :)

So atk increasing effect only affects the mon you have that artifact on as far as I can tell with testing....for example if you have atk inc on megan it doesnt make it other mons have a boosted atk buff, it only appears to apply if you put it on the dmg dealing unit and not the buffer, this is really lame imho
IDK.. I kind of like the concept that artifacts are intended to customize your monsters. So if the atk increasing effect is on Bastet it's not "customizing" the nukers, it's customizing the bastet. Kind of would make atk increasing effect OP too :p
Hey Xennial I would like to know which Nat 5 monsters a usable ie the water sea emperor or verad. Dragon 12 is still kicking my butt and I really want to avoid having to 2a another monster for PvE.
Hi Blake, this is a pretty open-ended question that I can't answer without more information. Feel free to message me with your monster box in Discord and I'll give some guidance when I can :) Discord link in the video desc.
The only thing I highly disagree with is the usefulness of Skill X Recover percent. Take a perfect quad roll Skill 3 Recovery artifact and put it on Triana. That boosts it from 20% to 26% and that's it. Compare this to -18% Damage from Fire (only 3 max rolls, not 5) and this removes 4K of damage from each hit of my Bulldozer's nuke attack. That effectively added 8K of health to my Triana. Comparing 2400 HP additional group healing for a perfect artifact to 4000 HP per-hit extra HP on Triana for a slightly above average artifact, and it's hard to justify Skill X Recovery. For a 50% to 65% recovery increase, 6000 HP is a significant amount of heal. So you might justify it for a unit like Eladriel, but SPD+ Proportional to Lost HP is probably a better investment.
Heya JoeJoe.. so I like your logic, and I think this may be a point if "playstyle difference" where it comes odwn to personal preference, and also general rune synergy. For example - in my last siege video you can see I was using a Belladeon with 16% recovery that was healing for 22k in one of the fights. There were 3 or 4 times where my Xing Zhe was at 1% health but survived. I wound up winning, and definitely would've lost if Bella didn't have that artifact. Another way to say it - your point on Triana is a fair one, because Triana is often a primary tank or target. But not all healers are used in that function, and many healers do more than 20% or heal more frequently (think of Colleen and Mihael for example). Then it also depends on the monsters you comp them with, the types of builds you use, etc. Like I run a bruiser comp in G1 RTA, and I have a recovery artifact on Vigor which I really love, because my fights tend to go really long and he'll heal many times during the fight. He's also often not the primary target in the comp I use (Velajuel usually is). One other thing to consider - let's say Triana gets damage reduction from fire artifact. She's still taking full damage from wind, light and dark - whereas the recovery healing benefits no matter who hits her.
You missed the point that you will never will be able to choose between less damage taken from fire and recovery%, because the fire one is elemental and the recovery one is archetype, so you will have both equipped. You can choose between accurracy, recovery, and crit damage, or the generic rolls that can roll on both ( like additional flat damage from HP for example)
@@zaub1 It's not about choosing between the two - it's comparing the effectiveness of average rolls to a perfect legendary. I'd argue that CD reduction, HP/DEF increase, Accuracy may be more effective for most support mons. For a Rina, it's going to get hit way more than it every heals. Sure, this is a niche case, but Artifacts are all about niche customization. I'd also say that the more mons on your team, the more desirable Recovery % is. I tend to think only in terms of Guild/Siege for teams.
