Technically they didn't make drainages etc. If you make a road you want to put it on the high ground and have channels that run underneath to help prevent flood/water damage. So the insurance said they were incompetent for not building their roads probably.

I beg to differ, I derive a lot of amusement from the Ark Encounter without even setting foot in Kentucky, in no small part thanks to this channel.
It's a bemusement park that gets more and more amusing the further away you are.
When they had hundreds of people working for years to build a big goofy boat supposedly their idol build mostly alone in a 10th of the time without all the lumber supply or heavy machinery and still having it not be seaworthy. It became a hilarious subject before it was even opened. Then basically Bill Nye did a tour of it and couldn't catch a break from all the christians harassing him nonstop for hours. Then thunderfoot showed pictures of the place basically deserted because its a hilariously overbuilt, overpriced, and idiotic structure. Also they had dinosaurs

Only talking about the physics and engineering side of the biblical flood. There was nowhere on earth enough stored water to cover all mountains before the flood. 40 days of rain is not enough for a 8,8km layer of water. The worst 48 hour rain recorded yet is 5000 mm. For 40 days that would be 50 meter. Quite far from 8800 meters. The water has magically disappeared after the flood without leaving any trace whatsoever in the strata. Today that water is nowhere to be found in the solar system. So the flood is a myth. Furthermore as the sweet creationists in USA proved with the ark encounter that a ship of that size was impossible to build at Noah's time in 50 years with the staff at hand. They put 2500 man years into the ship with modern equipment making building at least 1000 times more efficient. So at Noah's time something around 2 500 000 man years would be needed. That is 8 persons 312 500 years.

Steven Schnepp I wasn’t specifically referring to pregnancy, but it is a condition that carries some very significant health risks. And yes, the rights and well-being of the patient should always be the paramount concern. If a doctor has problems with that, they should consider another line of work.

11:00 I once really badly had to go, and it was #2. I ran into the bathroom, and didn't even notice a lack of urinals, as I wasn't planing to use one.
Anyway, I made it in time, did what I had to do and came out to find a woman washing her hands. I said, "Oh, did I screw up, or did you?" she just smiled and said it was me who screwed up, but from the sounds I made, she figured it was an understandable mistake.
She was never scared of freaked out, even though she was in there when I walked in.

And as far as bathrooms most businesses will excuse the use of either designated bathroom in the event one is closed for cleaning, one is completely occupied, or someone has children etc since toilets are easier for small children and mens often have only a few toilets and rest urinals. Generally if you don't want to get kicked out of a bathroom you just go use the toilet and the sink then leave ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Something similar happened to me! A guy ran into the bathroom, saw me, said 'I'm so sorry' then barely made it to the bathroom. I wasn't scared, when ya gotta go, just go. I've also had a guy washing his hands when I went into the bathroom. He looked surprised, looked around, then turned red. I started laughing & said 'I won't tell if you won't'. He said 'I'm so so sorry' & left. No one died. No one was raped. I really don't get this fear.

Creationists, even old earth creationists, at some point must abandon science to believe in something that cannot be demonstrated to exist. Young earth creationists like Ken Ham, the guy this video talks about, flat out deny multiple facets of biology, geology, astrophysics, and anything else that would even hint that the world is older than 6000 years.
So yes, unless you have nobel prize worthy observations of a creator, creationism and science are incompatible.

I went to a newly constructed sports complex in Christchurch New Zealand a few years ago. They had built gender neutral toilets, individual cubicles where you did whatever you did. I was amazed at how sensible this was. No separation of male and female sets. Not discrimination of queues. I'm amazed that everyone doesn't do that!

It just occurred to me that there is another major problem with the flood story. Not only would the Ark have to cope with tidal surges and waves, it would also have to cope with all the materials floating in the water. I can't imagine a wooden boat coping with being hit repeatedly by trees and other materials hitting it at high speeds.

Actual answer: Because our government healthcare doesn't cover everything. I wish it did, and so do many other Canadians. It leaves out prescriptions, eye care, dental care, mental health care, and at least one more thing I can't think of on the spot.
Having supplemental insurance doesn't put you on some "priority list" for doctors, it just covers what's not covered by our government healthcare.
Please actually research these things before putting your opinion out there.

I work in healthcare in the US. And we are all about religious, political and profit centered care. I see so many cases where allowing or assisting with death would be in the best interest of the patient.
But family and church officials gather around to pray, strategically maneuvering around the costly machines literally keeping the person alive. Hoping for A miracle, they prolong suffering for days, weeks, months and in some cases years.

Well, it's not impossible. Last time I had a flood at home it flooded way less than 2 acres and it took me longer than 40 days to have it all dry again.
