A family is defined as three or more people. What do you think would happen if a gay or lesbian couple brought their child with them. Which would fail first, his hatred of homosexuals or his hatred of the tax?
I still find it hard to believe that even Kentucky's government could get away with making any kind of deal with a place like this. The numbers the government should look at is how much growth did the local economy actually show, not how many people KH says went to his park. Any jobs brought to the area that went through the Ark's screening should not count. What's up with the government wasting more tax money on crap, and not having to answer for it? Thank you for the great work that you do!
Even Ken Ham in the video said he was ""bearing wtnes" to these school field trips and park trips. He is clearly violating separation of Church and State.
They should allow those trips. One look at the Ark Encounter and you know a boat like that couldn’t possibly have been built by one family in the Bronze Age.
Hello Paul thank you for the videos I enjoy all of your videos and I have learnt a lot from your videos, thank you again. Do you draw all of your guests and yourself.? Thank you again.
Hey Paul, just want to say thanks for all the videos. I was brought up in a small town in northern ontario as a strict Baptist that was taught AiG as science. I have since become an atheist and have been trying to learn as much as possible about science, evolution, and the failures of the church. Now, my parents and family are still very extremist in their religious beliefs. And now my wife and I expecting our first child in March. As someone who has been through what I have and is already a father, I would love if you could share your thoughts about raising your kids teaching them science, while your family and parents try to undermine that teaching? My wife and I are on the same page regarding all this but it worries me what my parents and family will say/teach my child and what will happen if we leave our kids at their house for the weekend. I've already had this conversation with my parents, but they said they "can't lie to their grandchild and they wont keep their opinions to themselves b/c their souls are forever." Thanks Paul!
I’m in the same boat, the only difference is, I’m still a closed agnostic/atheist...👀 My family doesn’t know & now that I’m about to have my first child, they are REALLY pushing the “you need to stop being backslidden & get back in church!”, “Okay, time to stop sinning & send your butt to Sunday school to put your innocent baby to the dangerous, sketchy church nursery!”..... I’m not looking forward to crossing the “actually, I don’t believe that & we’re not raising our kid that way.” bridge.🥲
Churches automatically get 501C3 tax benefits and don't have to submit their books. Other organizations have to jump through many hoops and have to submit their books annually.
Space octopus sounds like something straight out of an issue of the Fantastic Four. How incredible is it, then, that something from the plot of a comic book sounds more reasonable and feasible that what AiG ever presents?
Parks and Recreation should not be promoting any private facilities but only public facilities. A chamber of commerce on the other hand could promote this as a tourist attraction but chambers of Commerce are not generally governmental.
In fairness to Ken Ham -6° is really cold to people where I live. You guys who are putting with the winter with -20° to -40° temperatures are super human to me.
MrMetalover666 I think a lot depends on humidity. I remember a Canadian relative visiting us in the UK. He was used to -30/-40 temperatures with no problem, here -2 and he couldn’t take it because it was cold and wet. Cold he could cope with, add wet and he was finished.
Around zero, moist air and some wind is worse than -40, dry air and no wind. One new years eve we had -42 and watched fireworks in t-shirts, then throwing boiling water up the air to have a little snowfall. We stood outside almost 20 minutes and it took 15 minutes before we even started to be cold.
A couple weeks ago we had about 30 below and windy, and we had to supplement the heat with a space heater. Then, the wind died down, and the heat kept up fine on its own. Wind matters.
As always a great video. Family ticket, allows three or more in. Can there be a mass vist from same-sex parent familes? Question from the UK. School trips here may visit Westminster abby York minster, Hindu temple, historic or multicultural sites, would AA stop visits to st Pat's New York or Mormon temple salt lake city? Mr Helton lives between a dry dock and a dumb place.
Promoting separation of church and state isn't an atheist or a theist cause it's a human rights cause. When religion and government mix both come out worse for wear.
@@Paulogia i wouldn't be surprised that maintance is a low priority. Everything thing i have seen looks cheaply done. The only thing missing is the flood diving pool or a sign that says : " we pucker for suckers"
To be clear, they may not promote a particular religion. They could offer this as an experiential opportunity - but that would require students to have the option to go or not go. And it would require the school to be a neutral arbiter - providing the opportunity without promoting.

Even if I was given a ticket I wouldn't go to that monstrosity!
Doing so would just reinforce their lie!
Do you ever make the blinks line up..? Because I know when you're actually talking to someone you may unnoticeably align your blinks for a time
I tried once... it makes it even more creepy 😂
-27 degrees, damn, that's cold. The coldest South Africa gets is around -10. The Great Karoo on the other hand, never has winter...
-27 sounds amazing, never been to a place that cold. I've barely dipped below 0 :(
It's all about the wind, -20 and a soft breeze ain't fun. -20 without any wind and you can walk around in a t-shirt.
@@falcovg2 So long as you walk slowly.
Thank you
-6°C? That's a heat wave. It's -21 where I live (-29 with wind chill)
Octopi damn it >_
Is the "religion government" or "church and state" distinction important?
Good Job Ken Ham The Great I AM will reward you !!!!!!!
Yay new video! Time to lose brain cells listening to Ken Ham.
Hello Paul thank you for the videos I enjoy all of your videos and I have learnt a lot from your videos, thank you again. Do you draw all of your guests and yourself.? Thank you again.
Excellent!!! (I can't say nor think that without thinking it in Mr Burns voice LOL)
Good video, thanks for sharing it.
It's "octopodes" Georgia.
I've already had this conversation with my parents, but they said they "can't lie to their grandchild and they wont keep their opinions to themselves b/c their souls are forever."
Thanks Paul!
My name is Sam, btw.
That octopus article was completely and quickly discounted.
-6 C? That's a warm, balmy day for February. Ken, you're a wuzz!
*"Octopuses"*
Well I am not ok with that.
I feel i must apologise to you Paul. It took me until today to keep my new years resolution with your channel. Kept it tho.
In fairness to Ken Ham -6° is really cold to people where I live. You guys who are putting with the winter with -20° to -40° temperatures are super human to me.
MrMetalover666
I think a lot depends on humidity. I remember a Canadian relative visiting us in the UK. He was used to -30/-40 temperatures with no problem, here -2 and he couldn’t take it because it was cold and wet. Cold he could cope with, add wet and he was finished.
@@markborder906 True mate.
I finally just saw my hard hat. Thank you so much. I love you. I hope you go to the protest. Would love to meet you
So glad you approve! Thank you so much for your support, Su.
I will be at the American atheist convention and the ark protest again this year, anyone else planning on heading there?
As always a great video.
Family ticket, allows three or more in. Can there be a mass vist from same-sex parent familes?
Question from the UK. School trips here may visit Westminster abby York minster, Hindu temple, historic or multicultural sites, would AA stop visits to st Pat's New York or Mormon temple salt lake city?
Mr Helton lives between a dry dock and a dumb place.
Promoting separation of church and state isn't an atheist or a theist cause it's a human rights cause. When religion and government mix both come out worse for wear.
It's 76F (27C) here today :)
How long before the ark starts falling apart. It was built by the lowest bidder for a big con artist after all.
I hear it's looking pretty rough.

To be clear, they may not promote a particular religion. They could offer this as an experiential opportunity - but that would require students to have the option to go or not go. And it would require the school to be a neutral arbiter - providing the opportunity without promoting.
why isnt giving these tours free an orchestrated attempt to avoid the turnstile tax? They should have to pay the tax on every visitor, it should be irrelevant if AIG gets paid for it.
Okay. When do we get passports for this Secular World?
Its a bit like West World. Its a park were education and health are available for free.

The USA is crony capitalist capital of the world with a crony capitalist game show president Trump, who despite his family's money sending him to the finest economic school he still went so bankrupt the banks were forced to bail him out otherwise his debt would of sent them all down.
Despite the American president and American citizens describing the rest of the world as a "shithole", I'm glad I don't live in the USA. However I'm not so ignorant and self righteous to assume my country doesn't have serious problems, and for the time being there are nicer places to live. However each to their own.
American culture is too dumb to realise you can't fight your way out of every situation, it just makes it worse...
The USA just makes the same rookie mistake again, and again, and again.
If unfortunately America was wiped out in a violent asteroid shower, the world wouldn't miss America as much as Americans think the world would. America is a very young country, and still has a lot to learn.
During Trump's electoral camp I predicted that the only thing "great" Trump would make America, is greater ignorance and corruption. America 2019 is proving my point! It's like a deer in headlights!
IMHO the world will see the wall as more uncalled for American mindless hostility and another target and sign of American weakness. Americans think they are untouchable, but it's not true!
Americans speak of freedom, but they are too cowardly to die for justice!

How long does the municipality need to put up with Ken's BS before they close him down?
Sadly, they were conned as much as anyone else. And since they've sunk so much money into this debacle, they have to stick with it in the vain hope of recouping some of their massive losses. They know full well they'll never see a dime of profit, but maybe their losses won't be as bad.
Personally, I think that if they booted him out, and turned it into a laser-tag arena, or escape room attraction, they'd probably make a LOT more money.
