Mobius discover that Seb is close on the trail and notice that he is a capable detective, so they kidnap him and put him in STEM to kill Ruvik so that they can freely use STEM without it being a horror shit show. Joseph is Seb's partner so they probably put him in STEM also to assist and make the "dream" more believable for Seb. The DLC's later reveal that Seb's wife is a member of Mobius and it may have been her that picked Sebastian to be the one to kill Ruvik and organised his kidnapping.
they are all in there because Dr.Jemenze was building a wireless version of the STEM in Beacon that, by connecting to other wireless transmiters such as a radio in a police car, can affect people in limited radios around the main terminal (the one you wake up in Beacon at the end of the game)

Actually, the game makes a lot more sense once you realize that everything in it, including the drive up to the hospital, is part of the dream. The main characters came to the hospital, were knocked unconscious, and were hooked up to the machine before the game even started. The opening sequence is sort of a live-in recording of their last memories, before Ruvik became aware of their presence and started trying to kill them.
You do realize the whole game you're in your subconscious with other people's subconsciouses right? Nothing makes sense in your dreams, so why should it in another person's dreams?
Minus a shit load of sins because you guys apparently never actually finished the game. Tons of those first sins make sense once you know you've been hooked up to a mind sharing device.
I feel like if the game does something that doesn't make sense until a piece of information is revealed later, it doesn't make it the game's fault that they aren't giving all of the information as to why certain events are happening in the way they are. This is because the horror genre relies on mystery to be scary (though in this game it's mostly the gore), and if a game or any piece of media for that matter doesn't explain something strange or that doesn't initially make sense in the pretense you see it under, it doesn't really make it a problem does it?
@@matthewvader3002 No its the modern gamer's fault for expecting to be spoon fed everything and needing their hand held so they bitch about the plot not being presented on a silver platter and make no attempt to pay attention or read.
I don't claim to know this story well (because its written so poorly) but I can safely say I believe the moment the game begins you're already in the machine, there is no people in the city and they don't reference it outside of "they all must be dead" and Ruvik was able to kill those 3 policeman because they're not in the 'real world' at that point. Notice how the female detective doesn't flinch like everyone else when they hear the static over the radio, because she knows exactly whats going on and knows she is in Ruviks brain. But I suppose trying to make sense of this mess of a game is giving it too much credit.
That's pretty much the only way you could conceivably explain the beginning. It still doesn't fill in all of the wholes and in fact creates new ones such as why would some police detectives be hooked up the STEM in the first place?
Dartigan They started kidnapping people and hooking them up to Ruvik's mind with the STEM machine. They mentioned that the people investigating the kidnappings also went missing which would explain why there were police alive in the beginning, since they were all hooked up to STEM when the game started. I believe it was mentioned at some point that all of the monsters encountered in the game were people trapped in Ruvik's mind.
I'm surprised that he didn't bring up how the very first playable area has 3 dead bodies that are the exact same. Same position, same character model, etc. That's just lazy. Especially for the first area of your game.
Huh, I really liked the Laura/Spider lady boss fight. I wish she didn't instantly kill you once she grabs you, but I didn't find her difficult. She was probably the creepiest boss in the main game for me, which sort of outweighed the negative of her being one big instakill mechanic. I was surprised as fuck to see you didn't tax the retarded wolf boss fight (sentinel). That was actually such a bad and annoying fight. It had a slightly interesting gimmick with hiding behind bushes, but it would charge your shit and knock you down constantly. I mean, the beginning of the game and Ruvik appearing in the real world is not directly explained, but it's beyond heavily implied as you progress the game. **SPOILER** At the beginning of the game, you're actually already connected with the STEM machine along with every other person appearing in the game. At 0:45 pay close attention to Kidman. Out of all 3, she is the one who is unaffected by the noise. That is because she works for an organisation called Mobius, which are the ones who hired the doctor and Ruvik to make the STEM machine. From this scene alone we can already deduce that they've already been connected to STEM. There isn't any people on the streets because the people of Krimsom City aren't connected. I'm sure there was technical issues that contributed too, but it does 100% make sense story-wise at the very least.
The "losing our minds" repetition only reminded me of an episode of billy amd mandy where billy would yell from his fear of clowns "DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL? DESTROY US ALL"
You continue to sin loading gates like that isn't intrinsic to a game, having to load the next section. If you're implying that the entire game map should be loaded up at once, you know that'd be shitting on anything less than god-tier computers to play modern games anymore, and the only other alternative is some sort of mini-game that fits the theme, which isn't always viable or even imaginable to create.
"Scientists have the worst fight or flight response whenever they come to a big realization." Or, in the case of Half Life, ever. Excluding Gordon Freeman. Anyone who has played Half Life 1 or seen Freeman's Mind knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Well, did you make the video step by step while you were playing it? The empty city and the problem with the radio is completely explained later, when you realize that Sebastian is already connected to Ruvik's brain.
Most of these sins were invalid, Ruvik did t kills those cops in the real world for starters so that eliminates about 10 of your sins, towards the end of the game shortly before the final boss fight Sebastian became the host of the world, explaining why he was able to get so "Lucky" with the rpg and the pistol, I suggest playing the game before you judge it P.S Kidman is in the dlc
3:38 That chainsaw now could just scratch a zombie's upper skin at the most, so... it's more ballast than useful. 3:48 "Losing online"? "Losing on mind"? "Losing all mine"?
@@Executioner02 Yeah but as far as I know the hijacking happened when the radio made that sound. I think it says in the DLC Stem was activated remotely while htey were on the way there. Then again DLC should never be used to explain a story so what do I know?
I'm going to clear up a few plot points for you. Note that I'm not saying they remove sins, because they actually replace current sins that you have in place already with newer ones: 1 - The headache at the beginning is the same type that the characters get throughout the game. That's because when the game starts, they are already inside of Ruvik's head, and they are NOT in the real world. This also explains why there was no one out on the street, and how Ruvik was able to kill the security guards. It's because it was already the "dream" world. Also, at the end when Sebastian finally leaves the asylum and is greeted by the cops, he gets another headache, meaning he still isn't out yet. 2 - Ruvik is not all powerful in this world. Sure, he is able to consciously control it, but he isn't the only one who is changing things in it. The doctor does say at one point that everyone who is trapped inside of it is contributing to it subconsciously, which is why there are weapons, and why Sebastian is constantly warping back to the asylum. 3 - The reason the narrative is disjointed is because Sebastian is going through the warped memories of Ruvik. The memories are not in chronological order, and they are twisted and unreliable. 4 - The constantly shifting memories are also the reason why they keep warping from one location to the next. Now that I've listed those things, I think it's pretty obvious which sins get replaces with new ones. For example, if the game already starts off in Ruvik's head, how come no one remembers getting there? How did they get taken there to begin with? Anyway, I just wanted to clear a few things up. It was a great video either way!
Good question. How did they get there to begin with? Most likely ruvik injected seb and that's how he got there. But in the other sin video its a sin because ruvik cant be a god in the outside world. It doesnt make sense.
+I_know_I_have_somewhere_to_be_but_I'm_too_buisy_watching_Jacksepticeye_and_Markiplier I love your profile pic! Was I the only one really annoyed rewatching this? Most of the stuff he said was kinda obsolete...
The only thing that deserves praise in this game is the tense ambient. The moment Sebastian starts destroying waves and more waves of enemies, you realize: "oh, it's just a gory RE4."
I don't think this guy really played the game because in beginning u are already in stem which is why the intro is the way it is , and the game is a collective of all the minds of the people in stem that is why the settings change so drastically
In a genre where it's becomingly alarmingly acceptable to simply feature cheap jumpscares and explosions instead of any actual horror, Evil Within was a desperate need for the horror-survival IP.
Ok I don't know if this has already been said but in defense of the sadist locking seb in the room rather than killing him outright it's the fact his name is the sadist he enjoys sebs suffering that can also be defend the hall chase I believe the sadist is intentionally going slower to enjoy sebs suffering
i agree with about 40 of these sins bc kidmans DLC explains about half of these, which includes the repetition of certain areas and objects, why ruvik wont kill them outright, leslies importance, sebastians past and why thats important, how ruvik killed those cops in the "real world", and a whole slew of other things you mentioned like "wtf is going on?". However the DLC also opens up a slew of new questions like... who is the agency kidman works for? What is ruviks plan now that he escaped from stem? etc etc The rest im pretty sure was explained in the original game, you just didnt bother paying attention.
0:41 Not really sure being a video game character who looks kind of like someone on TH-cam who plays videos games counts as a sin? Don't youtube outsiders have to know who 'Markiplier' is first?
It's not really a sin, sometimes I just say and put in whatever strikes me or that I think is funny. These vids should not be taken as a series review. This is just entertainment.
I dig the videos. It was one of those 'Oh yeah, that guy'. But I was watching this with a friend and he was like "Who is Markiplier?". He's not cool like the rest of us.
Yeah, he's one of those people who like the 'real' world. What ever that is? I've stopped my self from buying a game, just because i watched a guy play the entire thing on TH-cam. I was like, "I should get this...yet now I've spoiled the twists in the story...Damn". (I still play games for the story content)
Why doesn't Ruvik just kill Sebastian and be done with it when all he has to do is give him the instant death touch?...one....simple...word, Plot armor
cinemasins is the original these guys just liked the idea of GamingSin so they tried it them selfs and honestly i don't watch cinema sins i watch these three guys ...
From the very beginning of the scene, Sebastian is already in Ruvik's brain and the only "real" world scene is in the ending of the game where Sebastian saw Leslie walking out of the hospital area. So pretty much that can spare several sins or maybe all of it, considering the logic in imagination doesn't apply in real world.
I have another two sins for this game. After you escape the meat grinder death trap room, your character with his still injured leg falls into a pit filled with blood, guts, and dismembered body parts, then he dives into a sewer... yeah, that leg is SO infected.
Please actually do the video on Silent Hill 2. That is my all time favorite game and I genuinely believe it to be perfect. I would like to see if you can find some legitimate issues with it beyond just nit-picky stuff). This is of course assuming you actually understand the lore and don't just rant about how stuff doesn't make sense like most people do if they don't like the game. And you clearly can't use overused cliches and sins that were not overused at the time because it was around before most of this stuff became common-place.
Yes, exactly, I would love that too! Since so many people have done video's on the positive things, it would be great too see someone pick it apart where they can.
Really enjoy the videos. Just a note on this one though, a lot of your sins, such as why the city was empty at the beginning and the random character teleporting, are because the entire game (minus possibly the ending) take place in the bad guy's mind. Your character went missing before the events of the game and was plugged into the machine along with kidman and the others who are "alive" with you. It's not directly explained, but you can gather it from the missing posters in the save area (your guys 'missing' poster shows up your first visit in NG+). People were being kidnapped and plugged into the machine for testing.
Is this a sister channel to the original Sins? I know it says "inspired by Cinema Sins" but simply taking every single bit of what makes Cinema Sins Cinema Sins isn't "inspired by", it's more like "stolen from". I'm just curious as to why you didn't come up with your own creative way of counting "sins". It could've been any other negative word worth counting horrible ideas in games with.
Unfortunately no. I have no relation to Cinema Sins. As to why I used Cinema Sins format it's a simple matter of it being effective and straight to the point. Put simple: it works and it sort of fits how I like to give information to other.
Dartigan But you couldn't have found a way to do that without whole-handedly stealing? I mean, you could say what you wanted in smart, original way right?
I did to. It had some rough edges here and there but I had fun with it. Hopefully a sequel will get everything right next time and get closer to how good Resident Evil 4 was.
I don't think the bad taste chapter 11 and 12 left will ever leave me. Apart from them 2 chapters I love this game and look forward to the DLC, but please no more instant kills
Yea I think that's chapter 9, correct me if I'm wrong. I love and hate the mansion scnario it's fun but also a bit cheap at a couple times. When you leave the master bedroom after the brain puzzle he is waiting for you outside and you don't really have anywhere to hide because he will see you do it (I learnt my lesson the hard way in that room) but then a few chapters later you fight him and find out he is a pussy that is easier than any other boss in the game. The city part sucks because so many enemy's have guns and they NEVER miss, chapter 13 on the bus is just fucking terrible, if I have to ride that bus again in the Kidman dlc I'm going to throw my ps4 out of the window😡. Anyway keep up the good work I'm glad I found this channel.
Thanks perran. I agree, the city part was hard to swallow after spending the game in rustic villages and decrepit buildings. Thanks for watching and subbing.
I was so excited for this when it came out because Shinji Mikami was behind it. I was so excited throughout the entire game. Until the very end. Really killed it for me.
AFTERMARKET SINS! GAME JOURNALISM & REVIEW EDITION! 1. Dartigan , did....did you just steal a joke form Markiplier? 2. People were expecting this to function with the scare factor like Outlast or Slender, these reviewers glazed over the fact that this is a love letter to RE4. 3. Journalists and Reviewers are still using the term "survival"-horror, not action-horror. I assume by that logic, Mario wanting to not die in the mushroom kingdom makes his games "survival-platform". 4. Reviewers treat this game like Marmite. They think its gods gift or hate it like its the sequel to Ride to Hell. Not really any grounded reviews, so good luck getting informed properly folks! 5. How do so many people miss the "its all in your head" plot to this game? or that Joseph is a figment of your imagination? The game is about a vague as it is obvious at many points. 6. Apparently in the day and age of P.T. and 5 Nights at Freddy's, we can have a game with horror themes anymore. It MUST have a shit ton of jump scares and slow paddind build-up of tension as well. 7. Many are complaining about movie visuals in games, especially with letter-box. Yet will turn around and bitch up a flame war the moment these are gone saying the "graphics aren't as good anymore". Can't eat cake nor even have it in the same fucking room.
Hey PHD. Good to see you in the comments again. I don't watch Mark so I don't know which joke are you referring to? I assume the one where I compare them visually. If Mark played the game I would assume he saw the same thing that I did there. Kind of hard to miss.
Yeah the "discount mark" joke form the intro scene. He made a similar joke. I thought the same thing when i got my copy as well. Yeah I haven't had a moment to myself in weeks, working a haunt theme park in Las Vegas so October has been slammed for me. I'll try to keep up on your videos, very entertained by them your doing an awesome job.
there's one thing that bothers me about one of your "sins": when you said about the scene where Sebastian goes into a lot of blood, shouldn't you have said hemophobiacs (or however it's pronounced) instead of hemophiliac? Because -philic means you like or love something, while -phobic means you fear that thing.
wow. You're really good at pointing out video game flaws, i can only imagine how much in public you look at someone and point out whats wrong with them :p
Trust me, I have considered that a whole lot. The problem is Cinema Sins themselves has to consider that. I have no say in that matter. I've sent them tweets of my work so I'm sure they are aware. I'm not going to go begging them though. If they ever want to I would be happy to join up.
Dartigan Clearly. But yeah games are a large market that are tailor made for their review format so it's definitely an addition they should consider. Especially given that, according to the related videos sidebar, there sure are a lot of people who agree.
Dragon 122 The face, the Asian-ness, the glasses, the hair, the body type. Just about everything but voice. XD Mark himself spent the entire game calling him his double.
1:37 I think it's more they want them, the more experienced cops to investigate , while leaving the less experienced cop behind to not jeopardize the case.
I want very much to like this channel, but... this isn't right. The concept of sinning a game in and of itself is fine, but blatantly ripping off CinemaSins audio and visual style isn't cool. There are better ways to do this than by taking someone else's creativity and passing it off as your own. And it's a bummer because the parts of this that were authentically original are very good. I just wish you'd change the style up and make it your own.
kensley94 not really. CinemaSins folks might have individual channels, but they work together on creating CinemaSins and their other sins channels (Music and Brand sins) are also "official" CinemaSins channels.
Lucas Sullivan thats what i said 'a group' of seperated people with own channels. dont be that guy ';) you already made an error by saying its a rip-off
It is a rip-off though. The CinemasSins team aren't doing it separately they're doing it together. They might have a lot of people working for them, but they still have a business. Sins Media is the name of the company that operates the CinemaSins channels. That's why at the bottom of their website it says "Sins Media All Rights Reserved."
Great video, man! This actually came off like an actual sister channel! Some people complained about the "Discount Markiplier" joke being obscure, which I don't understand because Markiploer is one of the most popular TH-cam gamers, and, fun fact, Markiplier himself said that Joseph looked like him in his play through! I agree that just because it's some sort of dream world that you can get away with some of the questionable plot 'devices' you mentioned, but it's very clear from the ending that the entire game took place inside the STEM, which answers why Ruvik could do all that stuff in the 'real world'.

Kaitlyn Renee hater alert, TH-cam, do your shit
+tjdunagin yeah, i lolled really hard at that one
Kaitlyn Renee
thats almost words there.
Fun fact Markiplier got freaked out because the character resembled him.
We all know it's much much much better then resident evil series on everything
You do know that Discount Markiplier's name is Joseph and not Jonathan, right?
dartigan sins: Forgetting that physics dont apply in dreams/thoughts
Minus a shit load of sins because you guys apparently never actually finished the game. Tons of those first sins make sense once you know you've been hooked up to a mind sharing device.
That's the game's fault...
Doesn't mean it's not a shit explanation for a lack of funding lol.
@@matthewvader3002 No its the modern gamer's fault for expecting to be spoon fed everything and needing their hand held so they bitch about the plot not being presented on a silver platter and make no attempt to pay attention or read.
Because this youtuber only seeks rightfullness joke in his content 😂
This was really funny but the game was amazing nonetheless, haha. Plus you kept calling Joseph "Jonathan." 11/10
Brent C Must have mentioned that in a note I never found.
If you read sebs journals they help you understand the story a little and why Seb is in STEM. At least TEW has a better story than destiny 😄
Destiny has a story?
I'm surprised that he didn't bring up how the very first playable area has 3 dead bodies that are the exact same. Same position, same character model, etc. That's just lazy. Especially for the first area of your game.
Lol maybe it's a glitch in the...stem
How funny, they did come up with a DLC coming up with Kidman's backstory.
**SPOILER**
At the beginning of the game, you're actually already connected with the STEM machine along with every other person appearing in the game.
Maybe he sins them because they are too blatant.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 did it and its an open world
We're about to be living in the future, the next gen.. ps5 is almost here and it's said loading screens will be almost non-existent
"Scientists have the worst fight or flight response whenever they come to a big realization."
Or, in the case of Half Life, ever. Excluding Gordon Freeman. Anyone who has played Half Life 1 or seen Freeman's Mind knows exactly what I'm talking about.
LukeDude759 Amen to Freeman's Mind
Well, did you make the video step by step while you were playing it? The empty city and the problem with the radio is completely explained later, when you realize that Sebastian is already connected to Ruvik's brain.
All these sins can be explained
Z0mb1eslayer 98 Even the discount Markiplier one?
What about the repeated audio track?
Hunter Or the Chainsaw one
Ethan Johnson not boring
Ethan Johnson if you found it boring, you probably lost the ability to release any chemicals in your brain
Kurt Ironmonger from what I've gathered he plays all of these games through once, then plays them a second time to make the sins videos.
7 years later and still no Silent Hill 2 sins video. Sin Dartigan for getting our hopes up.
Did you play the game until the end? A lot of answers to your questions...
I know this is 8 years too late but theyare called chainsaws not because they can break chains, but because they use a chain, like motorbikes.
#discountmarkiplier
3:38 That chainsaw now could just scratch a zombie's upper skin at the most, so... it's more ballast than useful.
3:48 "Losing online"? "Losing on mind"? "Losing all mine"?
There’s no one in the city because it’s set inside STEM
The question I have is if they were sucked into stem while driving how did they not all die in a car crash?
@@jondoe-nc9qo the whole opening sequence with the mental hospital was inside stem as well
@@Executioner02 Yeah but as far as I know the hijacking happened when the radio made that sound. I think it says in the DLC Stem was activated remotely while htey were on the way there. Then again DLC should never be used to explain a story so what do I know?
1:14 The texture popping on the officer's/driver's entire model. +1 from me.
I'm going to clear up a few plot points for you. Note that I'm not saying they remove sins, because they actually replace current sins that you have in place already with newer ones:
1 - The headache at the beginning is the same type that the characters get throughout the game.
"So it's just like very JRPG ever." Gotta give credit where credit is due, that made my day. *Slow clap*
Jonathan?Fucking Joseph mate!!
+I_know_I_have_somewhere_to_be_but_I'm_too_buisy_watching_Jacksepticeye_and_Markiplier I love your profile pic! Was I the only one really annoyed rewatching this? Most of the stuff he said was kinda obsolete...
Conelly says "I'd have waited, but..." Not that he did wait.
But I'm so enjoying these.
The only thing that deserves praise in this game is the tense ambient. The moment Sebastian starts destroying waves and more waves of enemies, you realize: "oh, it's just a gory RE4."
dough1595 Being "just" an any kind of RE4 is a positive, and that's more or less what the game is supposed to be in the first place.
+dough1595 More games should be like RE4. RE4 was a masterpiece.
Also this is the guy who made RE4, so of course there's gonna be similarities.
+DrakoVongola11 I agree I love RE4. Its awesome.
Leslie is a boy
you say taht like its supposed to be a negative
1:35 But it's not a mansion; it's an insane asylum.
I don't think this guy really played the game because in beginning u are already in stem which is why the intro is the way it is , and the game is a collective of all the minds of the people in stem that is why the settings change so drastically
He has the semi pistol at the end because that is what he used if Bethasda dident change it
When The High Pitch Sounds Is Heard In The Car At The Beginning They Are Already Inside The STEM, The DLC Explains It
Looking back there were some stuff I noticed like they made stealth A component in that first village chapter and sharply abandon it rest of game lol.
Yeah they add sneak attacks bit there is literally no reason to use them since you become so overpowered with weapons by late game
In a genre where it's becomingly alarmingly acceptable to simply feature cheap jumpscares and explosions instead of any actual horror, Evil Within was a desperate need for the horror-survival IP.
"Ruvic"
*DING!*
Ok I don't know if this has already been said but in defense of the sadist locking seb in the room rather than killing him outright it's the fact his name is the sadist he enjoys sebs suffering that can also be defend the hall chase I believe the sadist is intentionally going slower to enjoy sebs suffering
Cliche: evil looks downright sexy
Come on, Ruvik is kinda...hot...
i agree with about 40 of these sins bc kidmans DLC explains about half of these, which includes the repetition of certain areas and objects, why ruvik wont kill them outright, leslies importance, sebastians past and why thats important, how ruvik killed those cops in the "real world", and a whole slew of other things you mentioned like "wtf is going on?".
I envy him and his youtube innocence. If only I could go back to not knowing anything about the youtube Let's Players.
That seating arrangement looks more like the kind you would see in a public bus, rather than a school bus.
One of the best horror games created its so creepy.idk why they hating on this game so much.
Why doesn't Ruvik just kill Sebastian and be done with it when all he has to do is give him the instant death touch?...one....simple...word, Plot armor
So there are three Gaming Sins channels. GamingSins, GCN, and Dartigan. Which one is "official"?
+Steve Stevenson None of them, they're all just shameless ripoffs of CinemaSins. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.
cinemasins is the original these guys just liked the idea of GamingSin so they tried it them selfs and honestly i don't watch cinema sins i watch these three guys ...
+Steve Stevenson 4 theres also Charriii5 who also sins bad games like sonic boom rise of lyric
I don't think you even have a glimpse of what the story is.
I don't think the devs did either, nor whoever wrote this garbage.
You're getting so much better, Dartigan. Good Job :)
Thanks Tw1s7. And thanks for commenting so often. I love reading everyone's reactions.
Dartigan Of course. You deserve the love you get with all the work you put in to the videos. :)
From the very beginning of the scene, Sebastian is already in Ruvik's brain and the only "real" world scene is in the ending of the game where Sebastian saw Leslie walking out of the hospital area. So pretty much that can spare several sins or maybe all of it, considering the logic in imagination doesn't apply in real world.
so this entire game could jsut be a long hallway and its acceptable?
you should get a sin for calling Joseph Jonathon
I have another two sins for this game. After you escape the meat grinder death trap room, your character with his still injured leg falls into a pit filled with blood, guts, and dismembered body parts, then he dives into a sewer... yeah, that leg is SO infected.
Not really, as it isn't the real world.
Never seen a school bus with that seating arrangement? Come to my city.
The story explain most of the sins... but nice vid nontheless
No, cinema sins knows nothing of this channel.
I'm sorry you feel that way. If only I had the boobs of a Reply Girl, then I would be going places.
I've sent tweets
Am I the only one that noticed he said Jonathan instead of Joseph at 5:07
and despite all the sinse, i love it
Yeah, that part with Ruvic hunting you through the mansion was just terrible.
The reason there is static on the radio and the streets are empty during the intro scene is that all characters are already inside the "simulation".
Why do you keep calling him Jonathan?
I don't know about you man, but damn those wheelchairs were scary.
I mean, they went the extra mile and put four more in there!
Unbelievable!
Discount Markiplier!!!! 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
The RPG joke really got me. I would have asked for this Inside Out gun from Machete.
there's one thing that bothers me about one of your "sins": when you said about the scene where Sebastian goes into a lot of blood, shouldn't you have said hemophobiacs (or however it's pronounced) instead of hemophiliac? Because -philic means you like or love something, while -phobic means you fear that thing.
Hemophiliac mean someone who suffers from hemophilia. It's not the same as the other categories of philiacs which are sexual fetishes.
4:16
You get 1 sin for saying hemophiliacs when you should have said "someone suffering from haemophobia"
also, 1 sin for the doctor looking exactly like krieger from archer.
wow. You're really good at pointing out video game flaws, i can only imagine how much in public you look at someone and point out whats wrong with them :p
You should really consider partnering with Cinema Sins as a spin off channel so it's out there and official.
1:58 what did you expect to see in a hospital
Can someone explain discount markiplier for me please??
That character looks very similar to a popular Let's Player on youtube.
Dartigan In what way haha
MswishWash stoning His face looks like him.
Dragon 122 The face, the Asian-ness, the glasses, the hair, the body type. Just about everything but voice. XD
Mark himself spent the entire game calling him his double.
anonymouswriter5 Jojo lol
1:37 I think it's more they want them, the more experienced cops to investigate , while leaving the less experienced cop behind to not jeopardize the case.
I want very much to like this channel, but... this isn't right. The concept of sinning a game in and of itself is fine, but blatantly ripping off CinemaSins audio and visual style isn't cool. There are better ways to do this than by taking someone else's creativity and passing it off as your own. And it's a bummer because the parts of this that were authentically original are very good. I just wish you'd change the style up and make it your own.
+Lucas Sullivan cinemasins are a group of seperated people with own channels lawl
...Really?...Seriously!?
kensley94 not really. CinemaSins folks might have individual channels, but they work together on creating CinemaSins and their other sins channels (Music and Brand sins) are also "official" CinemaSins channels.
Lucas Sullivan thats what i said 'a group' of seperated people with own channels.
dont be that guy ';)
you already made an error by saying its a rip-off
It is a rip-off though.
Nice vid, bro.
This game bored me to death :|. Fanboys gonna attack now :))
Siavash Poorshafagh eh, it's not so bad. the production value is admittedly low, but I liked the creepy vibe.
Siavash Poorshafagh I liked this game. I'd have attempted to platinum it if the trophies hadn't glitched XD it is badly written. I think I completed it a couple of times before I finally understood what was going on.
WOAH.
the dlc and patch make it a bit more bearable...
Since the ending basically says that it wasn't real, Sebastian surviving many of the impossible to survive events makes sense.
Somehow I always return to these videos, no matter how old they are.
you forgot to sin the fact that sebastian fell into several pools of blood simultaneously but his white police uniform has no traces of blood at ALL and the convienant rocket happens to have more than that 1 bullet loaded into it
"Discount Markiplier" made this video 10x better lol
the officer said id'a waited like I would have waited not I waited, subtitles are a handy tool my freind
I rewatched this one after watching your more recent one for the Evil Within 2 and the fact that you call Joseph Jonathan makes me laugh so hard. xD
I fucking love this channel and i don't care how many other people call it a blatant copy of cinema sins. you gave credit to them.
It actually sounded like the cop said "I'd've waited" not "I waited"
Sins for every time you called Joseph ‘Jonathan’.
Plus, discount Markiplier got me.
Also, sin for you who didn’t know there is a DLC of Kidman.
I just figured Sebastian's very limited sprint was due to his smoking. It was the best excuse I could think of at least.
I agree that just because it's some sort of dream world that you can get away with some of the questionable plot 'devices' you mentioned, but it's very clear from the ending that the entire game took place inside the STEM, which answers why Ruvik could do all that stuff in the 'real world'.
Take on point for Krieger from Archer making a guest appearance as Dr. Jimenez
