I dont think people realize the impact they make on others. Your videos helped me make it through a long hospital stay. When the doctors and nurse would come in.. after a while they would say who is this guy that we always see you watching. Just experiencing Japan food stops through you has been calming. Thanks for entertaining me and getting my mind off hard times!

One time my ex wife of 30 years broke into my house and threw acid on my face. I screamed but I also thought she wanted the D. So I was interested. When she left right away, I was sad. Because she wasn't interested.
So I went to the hospital to get treated. And I watched my ex wife's videos to keep me entertained.
The irony healed me.

@@MonkeyQueen39 Yeah, there are now three in NYC. When they first opened, it cost triple what it does in Japan. The price has come down since then, though it is still more expensive than it is in Japan. I do hope more restaurants open in major cities around the US.
I really like this episode. I think the place is really great for people who are not in the mood to talk with anyone. 👍👍 And seeing Eric ate a lot of extra is satisfying to watch, you can clearly see that he likes the food 😁😁

This is genius. Many of us want to go out to eat but dont want to be bothered with the general public. To be able to go out to eat and have a quiet calming solo experience is the best idea ever.

My favourite comfort food is Bibimbap but because I basically live in the middle of a field surrounded by sheep, deer and cows and ducks, there are no Korean restaurants. I am my own Korean restaurant so I make all my own Korean food...I even make my own kimchi (and I consider that a comfort food, too). ^_^
Your son needs to open a "Peep-Show Ramen" chain in California.

I would think everywhere would be over crowded during the Olympics, but who knows.

I just can’t get enough of your shows and just LOVE seeing your boys with you. I have boys as well and we love spending time together. We just drove over an hour Saturday to try a new Ramen shop in Gettysburg Pennsylvania and it was delicious. First time we ever got Naruto fishcake in the soup, i felt like a kid lol.

Was watching Scott Cramer and saw the video he did on you. I remember subbing years ago and watching that very same pencil trick as a kid. The last video I remember watching was you trying these burgers that were stacked one on top of each other, maybe 5-6 high. Its super cool to come back years later and watch through your videos. A real nostalgic feeling for me.
Also, those ramen bowls look amazing, never had one myself but always wanted to try. Hoping to have to trip to Japan one day and *fingers crossed* try one for myself.
