I was part of a band that played Portland and we were around Nu Shooz and Sea Food Momma(Quarter Flash) before both became national. We had the Same managers as Quarter Flash and got an invite for the album parties for them both. So cool seeing them now.
I always loved the funk in this song and in the official video she seemed so natural and down to earth that she always gave me a feeling of comfort like we could have been best friends and I would have been cool telling her what was on my mind and having long conversations with her on many subjects. She still has that sweet attitude.
