i am deeply invested in this build Sir! i am really impressed with Your old school approach to how you are planning and executing this Kustom Kreation! The design of this build so reminds me of the early mid "60"s custom models! In fact very much like Dave Shuklis! I would also like to Thank John for suggesting I have a look at Your work! He was spot on! Thank You for taking the time and consideration, of making and sharing these videos with all of Us! I am a subscriber and will remain as long as You are filming! Again, Thank You! @@russellpoland6637 I remember Dave Shulkis from back in the sixties. He was such an innovator when it came to model cars despite his disabilities. Dave is well remembered in the model car community by those of us who have been in the hobby for years.
Thanks for the shout out Lee and you deserve every new subscriber you get, you have an amazing channel going on so keep up the great work. Absolutely loving the sedan so far, straight from the little pages of car craft and rod & custom! People hating on it clearly knows nothing and are completely ignorant to the origins of the hobby that paved the way to what we have now.... In fact you should make it even more wild to piss them off 😂 I've been toying with ideas on the monogram pickup so if its not too late I'll be joining in January mate 😊

This custom '40 Ford is coming out nice. Looks like this build will be a bit challenging. Using the turbine engine is very unique. Ill be staying tuned in.

Looks very nice. Thank you for the ideas you have crated percolating through me head. This ‘40 Ford is going to be super cool. Not to tell you you need to do this, but how would the running boards look being narrower under the doors ? Leave the fender at 12mm and rounding to a 8mm to 6mm back to the 12mm width of the rear fenders. I used magical numbers as I have no idea the actual widths. See what you have created ? Frankinweenie, the model maker ! Again, just me thinking out loud.
@@donaldbrightwell5221 hi and thank you!!! Happy to be a bad influence!!! 😂😂 Yes the running board is just tacked in there at the moment to visualise it. The whole area is going to be sculpted
Have you ever considered making silicone molds of parts so you can cast them at any time? It will take the stress away from cutting up a custom / rare part since you can make as many of them as you want.
Ok, so now the interior tub is too low and pushing forward...and you're talking about opening up/hinge the doors!?! And you're saying you plan on building anew chassis too...not to mention the new front end!! DANG, this is the most extreme and outrageous custom I've ever actually seen being built!!
@@steveminla hi, yes. Because I’ve taken 10mm out of the body height the roof at the back has move forward slightly and that has pushed the tub forward. The chassis is most likely just going to be a simple plate. I’m still undecided whether I’m going to open the doors. I’ve never done it before and I’m not sure if I’m brave enough 😂😂
