Gremlins and Krampus are the best ones to have a good laugh over however, any holiday slasher movies would ruin my mood during this Christmas season but to each his own.Well less spending, more watching for me,cheers 👋😊❤️🎄🎁
@@cyphersigma1 yeah, quite a few movies we missed mentioning… Turbulence, Trapped in Paradise and yeah, Muppets. Whole bunch of others too. Love Gremlins. Not sure I’ll be watching it again this Christmas season though. Few others wanna rewatch first. And then of course all the new movies.
I'm not sure Briann would have got the "I don't want to wait" reference as I don't think they had the same theme tune to Dawson Creek show as the UK did
@@johnyoung7763 no, not sure he picked up on it. I get confused over the music licensing and what was used where. Think it was a bit of a minefield. I do remember the theme song changing at a point when it originally aired.
Renny's made some good classics. Unfortunately no good ones in a long time. Bricklayer was okayish (survived for round 2, in my movie shelf). I'm finnish btw - and there's always some nods to Finland in Harlin's movies, be it the finnish flag, or Finlandia Vodka. At the end of Die Hard 2, when the planes start to land succesfully you can hear music from Jean Sibelius, a classical finnish composer, who died in 1957.
@@GRORGvideot he made some great movies. I do keep checking his new ones out every now and again. But they’ve generally not lived up to his earlier movies. I’ll look out for his nods to Finland when I watch another of his movies, didn’t know he did that.

Nice talk can't believe muppets wasn't mentioned and I must admit gremlins having just seen it again at the cinema is a brilliant movie.

@PhillwithadoubleL am looking forward to carry to see if I agree with your review
Die Hard 2 - Die Harder- is set on Christmas Eve two years after the first film- John McClane’s wife Holly is flying into Washington.
@@letstalkcriterion yup… and I think it needs another rewatch this year too
@@PhillwithadoubleL I've rewatched both over the last few days
@@GooseyGoose12 always worth it. Regardless of the time of year
