Isn't it so exhausting?? Once I went on a date with a painfully nice guy who, in his desperation for conversational topics, wound up giving me a mini-lecture on Genghis Khan and the Silk Road. I kid you not. I felt so bad for him that I pretended that I'd learned something new that night. The pets portion of the story reminded me of one of the worst Bumble dates I've been on. I met up with this girl for coffee and she lied about her age and looked nothing like her photos. That wasn't the worst part, she admitted she has 6 children and said "but we don't talk about them." and then randomly she told me she has over 300 pet fish and photos of each one. And proceeded to show me every fish. We finished our coffees and she said "well that was nice, but you didn't seem to own any fish so I don't like you, won't be talking to you again." And drove off.
Another way would have been pretending you're going to get something , then just run like mad away from him. Sometimes when you're met with that much disrespect ... it's best to just leave.
You saved the day!! I have been watching these other TH-camrs telling their stories THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE!! How many "likes" can you put in one freaking sentence. You are gifted with natural beauty, street smarts, and great story telling skills. Thank you for sharing your story.
Right , I was watching one who said "whatever, whatever" every other sentence. Then there was one who was trying to say "blah, blah" (meaning that someone was speaking aimlessly) but instead kept saying "blase', blase' ". I finally asked her in the comments if she even knew what the word blase' meant.
I think she did the right thing. She was cordial until she could get away. He was clearly an egotistical trainer that could possibly be stronger than her. I just know of more than one instance where guys who were turned down on a date lashed out & got violent. This is not a sitcom... I personally think she did the safest thing.
I’ve been on bumble for a longgggg time like since it first came out and let me tell you, the quality of men that has been on there since I started versus now has gone downhill so much it’s not even funny. Like at this point people download these apps with the intention just to hook up completely disregarding the meaning of meeting new people just because and being inconsiderate to people that are seriously attempting to find a significant other. It’s awful.
I once went on a date with a guy where all he did was stare at me and watch me eat. I basically interviewed him because he didn't talk at all, just stared at me, and I felt guilty that he payed for my food, but he insisted. It was strange. After, he just drove me back home in silence, while, I, again, talked to him. I tried to be really cheerful and happy in disposition and he was completely different in-person than he was when he was talking to me through text. THE STRANGEST DATE, I've EVER been on.
Came for the laughs, stayed for the drama, left with just feeling so so bad for you hun. Sorry this happened. He's the worst kind of date!!! I'm so glad you learned from this though ♥️
You do make a really good point that I’ve never pin pointed out that makes sense~ you say that his looks were basically his key into getting girls and that would do it...like you can be the hottest guy and yet not be able to spark a conversation and be the dead beat in the room! Like you needs to be able to communicate because women do go for the brain too
Yes exactly, which also shows that it must work for him on other girls because he relies on his looks so much. Just hope others out there realize their worth and don't settle for just a pretty face!
No....this is for a rarity of women that looks like this lady. Any other “average” chick would not think this way man. Just a thought. If he acted like this to 90% of women, he’s won. But to women who as attractive as this lady, it’s a different ball game. Just my thought. Hilarious story tho lol.
He rolled his eyes so hard he saw his brain!!!! I'm dying of laughter!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I just got back from weird date... Feeling uncomfortable so searched for other ppl's stories. This really helped me so thank you!
This turned up for me today, 4 years after you posted it. You're such an animated, entertaining storyteller. Sorry it went how it did but thanks for sharing, and for taking what could have been an angry rant and making it into a funny learning experience.
The more I hear such dating stories, the more I realize how blessed I am with my ability to start a conversation out of nothing, and keep it going for as long as I want... be it with a stranger at a gas station, or a date with an awkwardly quiet girl. I can break the ice with almost anybody, and sometimes I'm a chatter box. One time, I went on a date with a girl who wouldn't stop talking about herself, and I mean WOULD NOT STOP! And, every time I'd take that quick breath you take before you wanna say something, she'd go back at it again, before I can throw a word in. After 30 minutes of blowing my ears off, she has the audacity to say "So, are you gonna start talking or do I have to carry the conversation? Cause I've been carrying the conversation here, and it's kind of a turn off." Bro, what conversation!? It was just you talking, and I stopped listening after like 9 minutes. I had so many things to say during her 30-minute presentation, but she wouldn't stop talking. After she said this, my mind was blown away, she destroyed the vibe, and my level of attraction to her went from 90% to like 3%. I said "No, I have nothing to say to you, and I won't be turning you on." She then, out of the blue, became super flirty, and I mean SUPER. After our first and only date, I kept her as a friend, and a few months later she deleted me off her social media. That little weirdo. Btw, Jacy, you look a bit like Shakira.
Bad date, wasn’t even the word!!! Lol that’s crazy... I need to tell my crazy dates stories.... I’m glad you are safe and you know your worth... ❤️❤️❤️

I have a problem with standing up for myself and I constantly make up excuses for the bad behavior of others, and I really shouldn't because those assholes know exactly what they are doing! In my mind I'm like "This is a one time, they didn't mean it..." but it just keeps happening and happening and since I don't make enough of a fuss about the horrible things they do they think that it's acceptable. They think that this is our dynamic now, they do sh*tty things and I'm supposed to take it and not get angry about it, because me getting angry is just me overreacting according to them.
LOL Wow! Jacy, Thank You for sharing your storytime dating experience, and I'm sure it's only one of many, and which quite a few women have experienced. Now, as a man, it use to amaze me how often I've heard women recalling the events of a date they were on, in where the guy said, or did something stupid, or crazy, or just plain horrific. I've heard so many over the years that it doesn't phase me anymore, but I still feel the need to ask the guy, "Dude! What were you thinking??!" Now, I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir when I say, continue to be patient when dating - Mr. Right is out there! You're a very attractive young lady, you have a good head on your shoulders and a very attractive personality! With respect to how you approach dating, how fair you are, and how independent you come across, I'm sure your parents are very proud of you!! Yes, from an "interviewing" perspective, one would have to ask... "What was this guy even doing on a date, when he clearly wasn't involved in the date??!!" Based on his indecent ("Hail Mary" as you put it -LOl) proposal at the end of the date, to me it's clear that he was only there for a random, no strings attached, "booty call", while you were actively trying to seek a relationship! Keep doing what you're doing!!
I've been trying to find a cool new youtuber to watch for so long, happy I found you! I really enjoy your vibe and it makes my day to listen to your videos while I feel lonely! Keep being you!
I found your channel through another video but this one spoke to me. Thanks for your humble Bumble story and your message of self-worth. Wow that guy, haha! Sucks you had suffer through but the wisdom you gained is immeasurable!
Good story. Honestly, you hit the nail on the head early in this story. He was disappointed but didn't want to abandon you on the date. it's not a reason to act like a jerk, but I pretty sure that's why he wasn't talking and being rude. He's also more than likely a narcissist.
Definitely! He was disappointed, but also probably still wanted to see if he could at least "get some" from the date. Not worth either of our time unfortunately
Girl don’t beat yourself up , if you were in a situation where you were alone in a parking garage , and he has the audacity to ask you something like that, then he’s got something wrong with him. Let’s say you did the “you’re an asshole” and smack him and he gets violent with you. He clearly has no respect for women or people for that matter. I think you did the right thing just making an excuse to keep things light and got out of that situation okay. There are women who have been killed for rejecting a mans advances. Even though the dramatic exit sounded nice in theory, you still were in a dangerous situation and it could have been horribly wrong. Sad but true . It’s good that you learned from it but sometimes you just have to get out of the situation alive. Thanks for sharing that story so we all can learn from it!! ❤️ New Subscriber ✨
To be a strong, courageous, dignified, intelligent woman of integrity has nothing in common with a need to identify and label yourself in the fad of "Feminism". To believe otherwise only proves the level of conditioning you've absorbed. You are a lovely young lady, give this some sincere thought.
6:21 99% of dates ive been on are like this, also friendships, I carry the whole conversation and come up with topic ideas, Its exhausting i don't return calls anymore or hangout because its a literal mental CHORE !!!
Try Theraneem Naturals Brand Tooth oil...just rub some oil on your finger and spread it lightly on the affected area. Sprouts & Mothers Market carries it. Hope you feel better and Avoid Sugar and Soda at all costs!
Girl, im sorry your date sucked ! Honestly he does not seem like a good guy! I've been aserver for about 6 years now and I can definitely understand how annoying it is for customer complaints and not tipping on a 100 dollar bill. You're absolutely a gem, keeping being you. You' def find happiness!
You are such a great storyteller...was fun to listen. So sorry you were treated so disrespectfully. Wrong in every way the way he treated you..what a JERK. No tipping is NO BUENO!! So important to be respectful to a lady in ALL ways 😊 What he asked you to do in a public bathroom...OMG.
Wow what a disgusting dude! Everything about him so bad, constant complainer, rude to service workers, no respect to use a trash can and a pervert!!! Ughhh. I don’t even like bumble. Thank you for this video, wish I saw it years ago!
My first comment for your channel, guys need to hear this to be better guys. I also work on the restaurant industry and totally understand the tipping situation. Thank you sharing some great stories
Pretty much EVERYTHING that you shared about your dinner experience BEFORE him NOT tipping was an ABSOLUTE dealbreaker. You definitely deserve better than him. 😑
Girl you don’t look chubby at all you’re gorgeoussss . You probably looked too good for him and he felt threatened. I can’t stand men that think they are the prize
Sounds to me like he acted just like a girl who knows/thinks she's very attractive. Just assumes the other party should do all the work, because she (in this case, he) is doing the other person a favor for just being there. That's just equality, I guess.
Wow, that was a repulsive request and response by the date. What a creep. I agree with you on the danger possibility. I was thinking to myself he’s probably got a number of victims out there. Glad you were mature and confident enough to walk away.
Wow, that's a funny story Jacy, and this guy Adam is quite cringing, that's not how you go on a proper date with a girl, I mean what a douchebag this guy was, I learned a lot of things from this video, I think this made me a better man and I better human being to be honest, to tell you the truth I've never dated before I know it sounds insane because I'm 34 years old, but this is a good lesson to learn from and I think you for telling your stories, I don't know if I'll date, maybe someday IDK but I'm glad you stood your ground and let that jerk know is not gonna go down, but most men like him are smug and it's unfortunate, I'm sorry about that Jacy, but at least you learn something new and you know your worth as a woman, I give you even more respect that you deserve.
As a 43-year-old man, I understand that societal norms may have evolved over the years, I believe it is essential to maintain certain traditional values, particularly in the context of social interactions. In my personal experience, I have never found it appropriate to ask a date or even a female friend to split the bill during a meal. This is not solely a matter of financial responsibility but also a reflection of my upbringing and the values instilled in me. I firmly believe that the gentleman should always take the initiative and cover the expenses, regardless of the nature of the relationship. I recognize that this perspective may not align with contemporary social norms, but I believe it is crucial to uphold certain courtesies and traditions that contribute to a harmonious and respectful society.
Why do women ask to pay? I’m not offering to pay for anything! Unless I need to make a point. 🤷🏽♀️ but you didn’t like hm anyways why bother. But I would’ve been left.
Sorry to hear about your bad date, I would of gone instead to Del Taco and ordered to go through the drive thru, and taken our sacked meal to the park or pier and enjoyed a conversation with you. The food would of been cold but the company warm, and genuine. When it would be time to say good bye til we meet again, I think all that would be remembered was the nice time that was had and not the cold food in the bag and water cups. I don't have a six pack now, but if that's what you like I could bring one along and ask for Ice cups instead of water. Good day, Ms. LA.
Ok, so I just clicked for a laugh. You had me roll'n. The best was, oh he doesn't tip, that's a deal breaker. Like he still had a chance after acting like a f'n tool from the get go. Shoulda said " I have to use restroom" and just frikn left him after the drink nonsense lol. Thanx for the 20 min of laughs. Have a sub and a like. Better luck on farmers only :)
Some guys will ghost you for not offering to pay your half. And you'll never know why. I'm old enough to expect a woman to at least offer to pay half the bill (though on the first date I wouldn't make her do it). I mean, since women are so strong and independent and want to be treated as equals...
Yikes, I’m sorry about that terrible date. There’s definitely a fine line between being confident and being a complete douche. I give you props though, I didn’t have that much observation or any standards on my first dates, put myself through a few bad relationships before I learned what to look out for.

I can still remember a time (1970s) when a woman was considered an Old Maid if still single and without family by late twenties.
Times have changed!
@@JacyErin Mother Nature didn’t get that memo.
@@andre1987eph if you're into underaged girls just say it and go lol
I've been trying to find a cool new youtuber to watch for so long, happy I found you! I really enjoy your vibe and it makes my day to listen to your videos while I feel lonely! Keep being you!
Wow, thank you so much!! I will be happy to keep you company :)
Wow. You weren't kidding when you said that you about to deliver the coup de gras. He definitely deserved the schmuck of the year award.
Sorry your date sucked! You’re beautiful 😍
NEVER give a date the benefit of the doubt
Also you are a really great story teller and an all round decent human xx
Thanks! I've grown alot as a person and as a date since then 😅
“Want to” I’m dead lmao 😂😂😂😂🤣💀💀💀💀... boy bye
Girl you are definitely one of my favorite TH-camrs!! 💕 How the heck do you not have more subscribers??!
My lanta you're too kind 🥰🥰
All I can say is WOW!!!! Good message at the end pertaining to dating!!
Thank you! I always try to offer advice with my stories lol
This date was a narcissist!!!!
To be a strong, courageous, dignified, intelligent woman of integrity has nothing in common with a need to identify and label yourself in the fad of "Feminism". To believe otherwise only proves the level of conditioning you've absorbed. You are a lovely young lady, give this some sincere thought.
Glad you made it out of there safely.
6:21 99% of dates ive been on are like this, also friendships, I carry the whole conversation and come up with topic ideas, Its exhausting i don't return calls anymore or hangout because its a literal mental CHORE !!!
That was an amazing story.😂 💕 definitely took my mind off this toothache I’m having . Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏾
Toothache?? Yikes, hope you feel better soon ❤❤
Try Theraneem Naturals Brand Tooth oil...just rub some oil on your finger and spread it lightly on the affected area. Sprouts & Mothers Market carries it. Hope you feel better and Avoid Sugar and Soda at all costs!
That guy sounds disgusting!
Ugh literally the worst 😅
Thank-you for sharing your story Jacy! It's really horrible the way some people can behave sometimes. Talk about a walking red flag! 🚩🚩🚩
Jeez that date just kept getting worse.
Aww honey the old me would not have cut a date like this off either. What a turd. Love your storytimes Jacy xx
It's all about growth and learning your own standards, so I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thanks so much :)
Defenitley should have gone on a coffee date😁for the first date..ive learned that the hard way..
Lesson definitely learned 😅
You’re the BEST!!! More stories please
More coming soon, pinky promise 🥰
I love the story time bad date stories. I tell everyone about the “did you say it to me left ear” story but I don’t deliver it correctly lol 😂
Really enjoy your vibe and storytelling skills:))🖤 can’t wait to keep watching
Ahh thank you so much 🥰🥰
Girl, im sorry your date sucked ! Honestly he does not seem like a good guy! I've been aserver for about 6 years now and I can definitely understand how annoying it is for customer complaints and not tipping on a 100 dollar bill. You're absolutely a gem, keeping being you. You' def find happiness!
Thanks so much! Definitely learned a lot from that date, and have certainly raised my standards 😅
😮 Wow! The nerve! And I'm so glad nothing bad happened to you.
I simply cannot believe you have so few subscribers... You look so pretty, nice and friendly
Aww thank you so much! I'll get up there in subs one day 🤗
You’re really pretty! Ewww he’s pathetic, he didn’t even tip?!?! Great story time; Thanks for sharing.
Me at 15:58 : OWH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Btw i LOVED you! Keep on making story times ure super fun
Haha thank you so much 🤗🤗
Wow what a disgusting dude! Everything about him so bad, constant complainer, rude to service workers, no respect to use a trash can and a pervert!!! Ughhh. I don’t even like bumble. Thank you for this video, wish I saw it years ago!
“And homeboy...”
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
BACKDOOR! 😂😂😂😂😂
My first comment for your channel, guys need to hear this to be better guys. I also work on the restaurant industry and totally understand the tipping situation. Thank you sharing some great stories
Ok, first - you are really beautiful 💜
Second - this guy is ridiculous, but either way glad you had this experience, you live you learn😅
wowza you are too kind!! but definitely, lesson learned haha
Pretty much EVERYTHING that you shared about your dinner experience BEFORE him NOT tipping was an ABSOLUTE dealbreaker. You definitely deserve better than him. 😑
Absolutely! Still disappointed in myself for letting it go on as long as it did, but lesson learned for sure!
Hahaha
oof once on a not so great date my date didn’t tip the waitress so i found her and begged for her cashapp so i could tip her
Oh my gosh, I wish I would've thought of that!!!
I don’t think women want equality. It looks like they want special treatment
Wow, that was a repulsive request and response by the date. What a creep. I agree with you on the danger possibility. I was thinking to myself he’s probably got a number of victims out there. Glad you were mature and confident enough to walk away.
Loved the chapters in the description❤️
New subbie! 🇿🇦
I commend you....the best date I ever went on is the one where the man opened the doors for me and wouldn't let me pay a cent. What a perfect date.
Why do women ask to pay? I’m not offering to pay for anything! Unless I need to make a point. 🤷🏽♀️ but you didn’t like hm anyways why bother. But I would’ve been left.
yes! then he treated her like shit I would’ve left him where he stands 🤷🏾♀️😂
Personal trainers are ALWAYS a red flag. Trust me.
no, it's a part of succumbing to the bad boy/break up loop and believing that one day you'll get that bad boy to wife you up 😂🤣
So sad how some people think that being rude to servers or other people in general makes then seem cool.
Lol, crazy story. Thanks for sharing!
LA.
The way my eyes flew up when you said the line and then you said I know I know like 😂😂😂😂 WHAT
😂😂😂 Adam is a living Legend id buy this guy drinks !!
I've seen that as an issue with some guys where they don't ask questions and just stay quiet if I don't talk.... how do they make friends????
They don't.
You saw for yourself, they are the quiet types.
We are not mind readers here.
Omg!!!! The ending though - not expecting that!
Haha the line of the century 😅
Women put up with men like this because of their looks. We need to stop rewarding bad behavior on both sides and the world will be better for it.
You are super pretty inside and out i hope you get big in the youtube world!
That means so much to me, thank you 😭
Ok, so I just clicked for a laugh.
Hahaha farmers only 💀💀 I wish I had the confidence back then to just leave, but lesson definitely learned!
Ladies, never pay on you first date. Period!
What happened to equality? 😅🤣😂
Some guys will ghost you for not offering to pay your half. And you'll never know why. I'm old enough to expect a woman to at least offer to pay half the bill (though on the first date I wouldn't make her do it). I mean, since women are so strong and independent and want to be treated as equals...
Great storytelling, thanks. Keep on sharing your life adventures.
Didn't expect that back door response.
Oooooooohkay. Can we talk for just a minute about how freaking stunning this lady is!? 😳👸🏼
You’re far too kind Tessa 🤗
It's funny you mention that because she looks like the woman who trims my hair at the hair salon. Her name is Tracy and it rhymes with her name. Haha.
I'm glad you were both able to discuss things like civics and geography and mathematics.
Yikes, I’m sorry about that terrible date. There’s definitely a fine line between being confident and being a complete douche. I give you props though, I didn’t have that much observation or any standards on my first dates, put myself through a few bad relationships before I learned what to look out for.
Thanks for the props! It's all about knowing your own worth and respecting yourself, so hope your dating game is better off because of it :)
