Probably because you made the accont in the last 30 days or you changed your username in the last 30 days

Warning: if you directly change the name from the website without going to the mc launcher the name will not change for the launcher it will only change when you join minecraft

When you open minecraft launcher at the top there is a button named skins click that and choose the plus then just open the skin you want to Inport. If you don't have any skins just download them, type into Google minecraft skins, open any site and choose or create one.

@@bggaming379 just open your launcher as is shown in the video and go to skins, but if you didn't buy minecraft and have cracked version it won't work. And if you still don't know how to, just search it up on TH-cam there are plenty of videos on how to do it
