- Chapters 357 and 358 of Black Clover have shown that the situation in the Clover Kingdom has gotten even WORSE. Yuno's insane spell is about to run out and the magic knights are dropping like flies including the CAPTAINS. Jack made his final stand against the Paladin Morgen and Mereleona is having to burn up her own teammates to keep fighting whilst her mana is about to run out. But all of this will result in Yami falling into despair, activating the dormant DEVIL MAGIC that resides in his heart.

Yami does fit the description of a Kijin since he is a very kind man yet when he gets pissed heads roll like it's going out of style.
The kijin as stated are kind gods and also angry demons , we have only seen the 'kind God ' part of Yami not the ' 'angry devil 'part

I personally think, because of how stoic yami is when he is in the face of danger, and he is literally from an assassin clan, which tend to be heartless in the face of death (During battle) I think the troupe of despairing might not happen initially. Similar to how asta didn't give in to liebe the 1st time he transformed. Then lost it vs dante. Prickly queen dying would be the final straw afterwards(maybe?
I wonder if Mereoleona will actually transcend/reincarnate and completely become mana itself. Perhaps turning into another type of flaming spirit creature like Salamander.

There's no death in black clover.
This seems a lot like Narutos 4th Shinobi war. The bad guy resurrecting the Dead, Narutos training with Bee then joins in with a new power up.
The difference is that the Shinobi war is a large scale battle, while this is just a precursor to Lucius' World dominating crusade.
It's not war just yet, until Lucius wins.

@@san6984 Naruto was the first, but I didn't watch all of it becoz I was overwhelmed on how long the series is.
Second was Dragonball which was my favorite, but I stopped watching.
Third was One piece, I didn't watch that much but I loved the pirates theme.
But Black clover will be my favorite, along with Rimuru and Demonslayer.

I do hope that Tabata fights the urge to bring some or all of them back. Since this is the final arc I do believe that these consequences are super important to ALL of the characters. The elf arc is so amazing because there was consequences and the plot and characters were balanced

I think it would be pretty cool if Jack and Mereoleona can't come back. If Mereoleona goes to far and becomes mana, from what we know, I'm choosing to believe her soul could burn with her as well, or maybe even just burn her soul for boost to beat Morris. Jack could be similar in which he not only used up the rest of his fading life force to make that giant cut, but that doing so cut his soul in half as well. After all, he did, with his final attack, do something that could be considered cutting the world in half
Mereleona has been my favorite character for a while. She's just an all out beast. The true 🐐
I think the scariest thing about all this is the Magic Knights are all getting folded and yet Lucius has yet to bring in Damnatio. We all know he's a Paladin now based on the last chapter of the Spade Arc and we saw him next to Sister Lily and Lucius, yet he hasn't shown up yet. That tells me Damnatio is gonna be insanely busted whenever he decides to pull up.
He isnt gonna be more busted than lucius. So if asta could one shot the dragon with zetin. Then he should be ight
@@lilkimbu2817 That's just it. I don't think Asta's gonna make it back in time. Also with how Lucius has been keeping Damnatio in the pocket, he might be the most busted Paladin yet. He already had a busted power with Scale Magic. If Lucius gave him an insane devil power on top of that, he's low key unstoppable.

I wonder if the Earth got split in half, with a clean cut, would gravity just hold it together. I feel like it wouldn't even be noticed except maybe some magma eruptions in some points at the cut. I think it might depend on if his severing magic causes any perpendicular force to the cut line. My bad, had to science the idea of Earth being sdplit real quick.
Anyone else finding it hilarious that after 4 different types of magic (wind, sword (the elf spirit was a hybrid and had 2 types of magic), spirit and star, 2 grimoires (1 of which is a four leaf!), 1 of 4 great spirits, magic of a royal, blessed by mana, and stupid amounts of plot armour...

I think that maybe Yami's grimoire is what lucifugus used as his grimoire before losing it for whatever reason, they could make lucifugus and astaroth rivals in the devil world so that they can parallel asta and yuno, but for the main point of this 😅 I think that yami may have this devil's power mainly because that just like how asta had no magic so he just got chosen by liebe because he was manaless, yami could have been chosen by lucifugus because he didn't have an original grimoire and since he's not a devil he won't turn it into a 5 leaf, the reason I say it's lucifugus' grimoire, is because we can obviously see when yami creates his own spells like the death thrust and when he gets them to overcome a battle, and the first thing he gets when his friends are in danger is a spell that can cut through dimensions, that sounds like some devil power too me
