Robotics expert is good if you are doing the Automatron dlc. You get close to enemy robot, press E - stops time and allows you to shut down even the toughest robots, its not chance based. If you are planning to create robotic companion, you will need the perk for some of its equipment.

Vans was good on my VERY first couple of runs. For that purpose I highly recommend Vans, but it’s worthless after that. Hacker is worthless in my book. Scrapper is great in the late game. Science is a must in the late game. Chemist is a toss up for me. Nerd rage is worthless in my book too. Thank you for your efforts.

uuuhhh the robotic experts is not chance based. 100% chance to hack on survival it allows you to kill robots you have no business fighting until later. id still put it on a c tier level though because its not overly that useful just fun to use. Depending on how you play the game and what mods you use, scrapper is hella important, allows access to rare junk through scrapping; this perk is my main source of aluminum, copper, and fiber optics. the highlight feature makes finding items insanely easier, id say easily b maybe a; finally id argue gun nut and science should be on the same row; id argue plasma sniper rifle is the best all rounder weapon in the game, and science is needed for specific power armor mods like targeting hud, calibrated shocks. and if you plan on making your own jetpack, finally science is needed to make fusion generators for settlements; science id argue is s tier because it provides benefit in every avenue of the game and depending on what your trying to do its mandatory to grab a few points of science.

@@IcedCoffeeGaming tl;dr sim settlements mod makes purified/muttfruits harder to do as there is a caps cost on production; but more on science; so obviously if your playing energy weapons or plasma build science its mandatory; if your using power armor the better mods all require science perk; calibrated shocks on both legs is 100 carrying weight; explosive shielding negates most explosion damage; jetpack allows shortcuts; combat uses allows you to get on top of building and if you use the sprint jetpack jump you can jump across ravines and rivers; making mobility in power armor way better than without power armor, targeting hud highlights living enemies allowing you to see enemies from far away in the dark without any trouble, or alive ghouls feigning death on floors., if your doing settlement stuff science unlocks better purifier; fusion power generator laser turrets; whenever i play the game since i prefer playing with power armor and the literal overepoweredness of plasma rifles its hard to say its not s tier; its the only real perk in the game that affects every area of the game; from combat enhancements; mobility, survivability, increased ap generation, utility and settlement improvements. with all this said; almost every playthrough i do uses science as a main perk i couldn't imagine playing without it; i personally would give it s tier because if your doing a power armor playthrough or energy playthrough it is a must have; it isn't something you can live without; in this regard it becomes one of the only perks in the game that's mandatory to have if your playing an energy build, which is why i believe id put it on at least equal grounds with gun nut, since they both upgrade weapon types; but if you plan on using advanced settlement equipment or power armor its easily higher than gun nut as gun nut only gives better weapon mods and the ability to make better settlement defenses. i could see placing it at a or b if you don't use power armor or advanced settlement equipment; but that devalues the perk a lot if you have no intention on using power armor. The only other thing to note is with a plasma sniper rifle, you can generally 1-3 shot anything in the game (on survival), making ammo consumption practically non existent, and it can also "gooify" enemies which has a high chance to cause them to drop nuclear material an expensive lightweight material that can be used in crafting or sold in comparison with other guns it provides free resources and has a much lower ammo consumption rate further increasing the value of science as its the perk that can upgrade the plasma rifle. i did my best to keep this vanilla and mod free, but if you haven't done a science power armor build in a while or ever give it a shot.
Oh and yeah simplified and not fixed tooltips are the bane of my existence, 100% chance to hack is still a chance pepega
