Luck makes the game super fun, crits don't just give damage but also perfect accuracy so even Perception becomes less important.

Fortune finder shouldn't be maxed, eventually you don't need the caps and you'll resent having to pcik them up each time.

Fortune finder is worthless. Invest in ammo. ALWAYS loot ammo regardless the type. If you must invest your level ups in money then go Scrounger, but I would not invest since ammo is EVERYWHERE.

idiot savant is the objectively worst perk in the game as it is the only perk in the game that doesn't increase your character's power.

It's most effective early game. Only put one point into Idiot Savant, save up some levels, and within a very short time, you've got a blank check for your build

@@private_ventures2592just scrap materials in Sanctuary and the settlements to craft shelves and fences until you’re high level anyway…don’t waste points on Idiot Savant, it’s a noob trap.
After level 100 or so it’s even detrimental as you don’t really want to level up higher.

Idiot Savant is a noob trap. In the early game you level up fast enough with just crafting shelves in settlements and in the late game you don’t want to level up beyond after around level 100… so idiot savant is unnecessary waste of points early game and actually detrimental late game.
F tier and a noob trap.

Also, the sound effect of Idiot Savant is the most annoying garbage in the game, so double F tier, avoid on all playthrougs.
