I’m also pregnant and I drink raw milk and eat raw cheese. I also only eat meat that is pasture raised as well as eggs and butter from pasture raised animals. Why? Because the nutritional benefits for me and my baby are HUGE. As a birth doula, I have seen first hand the effects of malnutrition on pregnancy and birth and the EASIEST way to avoid those issues is to eat like this. It’s not for everyone, obviously, but if you aren’t vegetarian or vegan, I say go for it. Do your research first: I recommend the book “Real Food for Pregnancy “ by Lily Nichols if you want to know more!

❤️ you're the best mom in the world you probably dont even know how much nutrition you're providing to your lovely baby... the baby is gonna be very very beautiful or handsome with very strong appearance jaw line eyebrows hunters eyes tall and good looking in general and ALSO it will more than an impact on baby's brain... People really dont understand the need of this kind of nutrition... good genes or bad genes are only AND only caused by the diet and nothing else...
you can also add som liver to you diet and please dont forget to cook strictly with animal fat avoid margarine and vegetable seed oils at all cost...
you're the best and good luck! Always warms my heart hearing stories like this since we live in this vegan vegetarian bullshit diet world... check out Natasha McCambell she breaks it all down.

I have been getting raw milk for my family for the past 11 years from Kenny at Johnson's Acres! I am so glad that you have embraced raw milk!! Dig deeper in to why they started the pasteurization process, as I learned it was because of prohibition. It is quite fascinating!

I started drinking it this past weekend after finally getting my hands on some. There’s a farm 2 miles from my house that has a stand with a raw milk dispenser. Open seven days a week! You can even see all the cows chilling in the fields and they also sell eggs from chickens across the street. As a typical lactose intolerant person I’m very excited to see how my body responds to it!

So far I can only drink raw sheep milk but I’ve heard over time you can build your tolerance and work your way up to goat and then cow. Thankfully it’s pretty easily available near me.

I am in Aus too. Cold pressed raw milk is not real raw milk. That milk you are referring too is cold pressed to remove bacteria. Real raw milk contains all beneficial bacteria. I would find a local real raw milk supplier and spend my money on that instead.

If you trust your source has excellent hygiene standards then it's perfectly safe to drink as is. There is good, probiotic bacteria as well as enzymes in raw milk (that get killed off during pasteurisation). You want that in there to inhibit any bad bacteria. I read of a farm who gave a local university some of their raw milk to test against pasteurised. Both were seeded with listeria bacteria. The listeria had set up a good colony in the pasteurised milk once they'd incubated it but was unrecoverable in the raw milk.

I'm in NC and bought my first half gallon yesterday from a nearby farmer stand. There's a lot of good videos talking about raw milk the upsides versus downsides, etc much like this video.
One comment made a great point and stating that you want to slowly adjust yourself to drinking raw milk.
So I took it into consideration and I just had 1/3 cup right now.
And I'll do that every other day, for about a week.
Then I'll graduate to half cup and then eventually the full cup.
