      @@marybuah2527 hello, No it’s different plz, baking powder is mostly used in baking. When you go to the store you will see both, the baking soda is usually in a yellow box. Thank you!!

    Thank you for sharing Sister Gifty. i made waakye stew last night, want to make waakye stew today but i dont have waakye leaves. i am going to use your method of doing waakye with the baking soda (i have some in the fridge). you saved me a trip from having to go out to the African store.

    Looks like the authentic one in Ghana, very nice. Please how did the rice get darkened as if you used the waakye leaves? Could it be that the inside of your pan is black or what caused it please?
