    I found freezing my fresh ginger not only eliminates waste, but it's also so much easier to grate, no need to defrost & no hassles with the threads

      I freeze mine as well, for use in recipes for food but mainly for making my own ginger ale. Woo Hoo!

    Hi Maya ~ I truly enjoy Egg Roll in a Bowl! I recently tried ground chicken & it is delicious to use. I did use ground dark meat. That added so much flavor. Oh... one additional ingredient I added is Hoisen Sauce. I happened to see another person add it when they prepared this dish, had it on hand and WOW, it enhanced the flavor for sure.
    I enjoy your videos & recipes. Thanks!! 🙋

    Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. The coleslaw mix is a great idea, no chopping all those vegetables. I will be making this recipe very soon.

    I add a teaspoon of Stevia to my soy sauce to give it a bit of sweetness. A lot of Asian foods contain sugar.

      I find that with salt, hot & sweet, increasing any one requires the others to be balanced higher too. Ingredients like soy, fish sauce, carrots, onions & peppers affect all those flavor intensities. Tasting is required.

    You said this is keto friendly but its has carrots and not enough fat. It seems like the carbs are high.

    • @kittymarlow6487
      @kittymarlow6487 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the small amount of carrots used and divided between 5 or 6 servings, it is indeed keto friendly. I put my recipe for this dish (which was basically the same as this recipe) in a recipe analysis and the results showed, per 6 servings: 250 calories; 5.5 carbs; 1.8 Fiber; 16.24 Fat; 20.26 Protein (That would be 3.7 net carbs per serving) So just try this. It’s delicious! That little bit of carrot is really just for color.

      It's a 15-20 minute meal, I'd say it doesn't get much less work than that for dinner unless you get takeout :)

      Another recipe called for a few red pepper flakes added while cooking the meat. Then adding sriracha sauce and a T. of LC honey at the end with the sesame oil. The sesame oil will definitely add some amazing flavor.
