Project Shadow is a fan made short film written and directed by "João Filipe Santiago" and filmed by Freshfilmesoficial. This video is purely made for entertainment purposes and because people kept asking me about it.

What's funny is this is exactly how Sega originally wrote Shadow before ruining him in Shadow the Hedgehog (2005). But then they fixed him in Sonic 06. But then they made him take a back seat for almost 20 years. Sadly.
This fan film is so amazing. I'm hoping Sonic 3 movie can do Shadow backstory justice. But I trust Jeff Fowler and team

Thought they got BalenaProductions since he does a really good impression of him. That’s awesome they got the MAN!
It could be like the way they got him for Sonic & Tails R. They got permission from SEGA to use him, as long as they send them the scripts to make sure everything's ok.
In the brazilian dub we also have Tatá Guarnieri, he voices Jim Carrey's Robotnik, love when details like this are kept between different dubs
Well he dose voice act for his job, so they could have paid him to do it. (but this is just a guess)
I've been very impressed with this fanmade project every time I watch it. I give it a 10/10. The people who produced it did an awsome job on that! It was so fun to see Shadow interacting with Maria and Gerald Robotnik, nice to see how cute and handsome the CGI can make him look like while being shown with a sweet and caring personality before the trauma happened. Great that explainations about how and when he got his air shoes and the inhibitor rings were put into it this film. Paramount should look at it for inspiration about how to correctly adapt Shadow's backstory into Sonic 3.

Also Fun fact The songs during the opening montage of shadow and Maria and during the end credits were cut themes from shadow 2005, “broken” which got replaced by the song chosen one and “all of me” was replaced with crush 40s i am all of me, I’m so glad they got used in this and people can hear them cuz i always loved these songs, full versions are on youtube if you’re interested

I don’t care how much that kid has matured, I really need and want his emotion back instead of him being a one note stereotype. His sad and scared moments are what made me love him to begin with
I don’t care if it’s in sonic 3 or in a new game, I’m begging for tails to be fun to watch and actually be wholesome to see
Shadow was just like sonic in the way of personality before everything was taken from him he was young, happy, kind, and carefree. Shadow loved Maria more than anything in galaxy and after losing her it felt like he lost his soul and he turned angry, bitter, and violent for a little while then he was just grumpy, he is still currently still kind only in certain instances and does care about others but he is afraid to get too close and make friends because he’s afraid to lose them like he lost Maria and basically saving himself from disappointment and heartbreak, I’m also guessing he suffers from PTSD because of this, I love shadow not just because of his backstory but because he is fearless and strong he stands his ground and doesn’t let anyone push him around and he likes himself for who he his

about sega not knowing what to do with shadows character, that is what happens when they have a story for a character and do not plan on bringing them back after their debut game where their story ends. sonic heroes brings him back in a good way but he does not really have a story. sonic 06 does his character perfectly, but once again, he does not have a story that you could not really switch him with sonic or anyone really. so yeah tangent aside, these are my thoughts on why he does not really have good stories anymore

when i saw in live in 16.dec. this short film i thought it really made of Paramount pic i was so shock how exelet was done this CGI i just could believed i really thought it for Christmas gift .but when i read about this person . wow that is respect -Iwonder how Paramount will put on SM3becouse now we know his back story so its interesting
Pretty amazing fan project even getting attention from the people making the 3rd movie. Also I’m sonic prime shadow is done really well, one of the best parts of that series. Think this will only continue to be a big year for shadow.

25:48 I more think on this scene, he's not talking to shadow but to the people at earth or more the G.U.N soliders, he never blaimed shadow for this for all I know, I mean, why would he want to destroy the world and getting reveng on humanity and using shadow for this if he's actually blaiming him, that wouldn't make any sence, so yeah, that are my thoughts about it 😅
I don’t know if fans write him better well recently yes, but sonic adventure to wrote him very good and they’re coming out with sonic shadow generations which I’m pretty confident will do shadow Justice
