Been using mine for several years not had the first issue with it. Best thing is I have a second one that I keep a knife, fero rod, and a few other emergency goodies in it.

Years of great use from mine and never any leak or gasket issues. However, I had a slip out of vest pocket drop onto asphalt of less than two feet drop and it absolutely exploded at the lid hinge. Construction suggested something a lot more durable to short drops. Nonetheless I am buying a replacement just based on price and the gasket seal impressed me.

I put it in my back pocket at work and I usually have a sugarless energy drink in it for a quick shot anywhere I am, I personally love it.

I bought one of these years ago, but it was a failure. The big opening was why I bought it so I could put ice and clean it easier, but the damn thing leaked constantly from the big opening.
I'm not surprised they discontinued it, but the market could still use a pocketable canteen that you can actually clean.

There must be a problem with your gasket. I've had mine for a decade. I've never had a leak. I love the lightness of it and the flip-up lig for filling.

Could be the large gasket has been installed upside down?
Mine leaked,and i turned gasket around and it cured it. Maybe a manufacturing snafu.
